Had anyone been able to get customer service on the phone? I called yesterday and requested a call back at 3pm and never got a call back. I've been on the phone (currently) about 2 hours and no one has answered yet.

Just picked up a direct-thread Otter Creek suppressor for my .300 Win Mag hunting rifle, and I have a question for those with experience running direct-thread cans.

If I zero the rifle with the suppressor installed, then remove the suppressor for storage (safe/case) and reinstall it later using the same torque, should I expect any change in POI?

Same question if I remove the suppressor to clean the rifle and then reinstall it afterward.

Basically, I'm asking about return-to-zero after removing and reinstalling the suppressor, assuming it is reinstalled consistently with the same torque.

For clarity, I'm not asking about the POI difference between shooting with the suppressor on vs. off. I'm specifically wondering how consistently a direct-thread suppressor returns to the same POI after being removed and reinstalled.

Curious what others have experienced

Loving the 4473 transfers, and can imagine there are 10's of thousands of orders on hand currently. What are people seeing over the last week for ship times on SS?

I have an FFL willing to do a suppressor transfer without a Form 4. The problem is, he said he doesn’t know how to log it in his A&D book, and he’s waiting for guidance on how to remove it from his inventory without an eForm. So anyone who’s been successful without a form 4 do you know how your ffl recorded it?

I’m struggling with a suppressor decision and could use some input.

Last week I ordered a Huxwrx FLOW Range 36 Ti for my AR-15 on my gun store’s recommendation. After looking into it more, since I’m not really planning on switching guns (although the multi-cal option is nice), it seems like the FLOW 556 Ti is the better choice for pure 5.56 use.

I went back and asked if I could switch and pay the difference. The dealer said that was fine, which is great. However, he also told me he’s shot both side-by-side and that the Range 36 actually sounded quieter to him on 5.56 than the 556 Ti. He described the Range 36 as more of a low boom versus the 556 Ti having more of a high crack.

Now I’m not sure what to do.

Does anyone have experience with both of these cans on 5.56, or any insights that could help? This will be my first suppressor and I want the most effective option for my rifle.

I know one of the big issues going from individual to trust was the needing to purchase another $200 stamp. but now that they’re $0 is there anything stopping us from originally filing as an individual for a fast approval, then once approved submitting a second form to transfer it t to the trust for the longer wait time? Honest question as i have no idea if that’s a legal nightmare

Anyone know of a solid modern can for around $300-$400. Everyone says SC Sparrow but it’s outdated for the price. What do you guys know of?

I understand this post may make me look like a complete idiot, but I just want to make sure I am not missing anything on my end, and you guys have the experience that I don't.

• Saturday - 8/15/2026:
  • Created SilencerShop account and answered questions/fingerprints/photo upload through kiosk.
  • Created ATF account, got username and created pin.
  • Paid for can at lgs(can was in stock at store, employees said to expect a docusign on Monday).
• Tuesday - 8/18/2026:
  • My SilencerShop account is still empty with no updates or notifications, looks the same as it did on Saturday after filling everything in.
  • Called lgs and they said to just wait for a docusign from SS.

Does this all check out? Should my SS dashboard still be blank with no updates/notifications? I want to make sure that there is nothing I need to do on my end for SS to know that I bought a can and am waiting for a docusign.

How to get ahold of literally anyone? Tried to cancel an order 5 days ago, Hiram the AI is useless. Decided to not go direct thread and wanted to purchase a different can. Well they took my money no problem...still not at my FFL. What now? Will it be delivered and I will be forced to pay a 25% restocking fee?

I ordered a Tisha from shark coast tactical since they had it in stock and it's not on the SS store. I chose the silencer shop in leander for the ffl it's to be shipped to. Is Silencer shop doing 4473 transfers on cans being transfered from outside their store? I would assume they still do form 3s for interstate transfers. I looked everywhere and I can't find out whether silencer shop charges for transfers outside of their shop and how much it may be. Everything I find only shows that transfers are free from their shop.

I figured I would share my experience to hopefully help some of y’all out.

I ordered some suppressors on Aug 13th. I got the email that these are not NFA items.

Got a follow up email on Aug 15 saying they needed more info. I called and chose a call back after hearing that I was 500 and something in line.

Got a call back today and was told that the email is because the local gun store is still doing form 4s. I need to find a gun store doing 4473s and then call back and update.

Does one need to get fingerprints redone when looking to buy a new supressor after historically buying through silencershop?
