What version of Silver Age should i play?
i want to know what version should i play.
i want to know what version should i play.
So I decided to download the new Emerald Launcher APK on my phone and decided to play neoLegacy, its incredible to see this game running on a phone lol, one of my dreams was to have LCE on the go and altough I have a laptop, a phone is more portable than a PC, altough there was some bad things, especially the FPS. On the start the game run like 30 FPS, sometimes more, sometimes lower but after playing for a bit the game started to lag HORRIBLY, it went to 15, then to 10 and even to 5 FPS, in some cases I even had 0 (not kidding) also my phone started getting hot real quick unless I restarted the game, I know my phone isnt the best but man compared with my PC that the game goes minimum to 230 FPS well. Altough I know that this is just getting started and I hope they optimize the game better, even making a repo specifially to Android. Next time I am gonna play Revelations instead since it has less stuff and is more optimized meaning more FPS so wish me luck!
There was an old Minecraft mod/ series on YouTube about early 2010s era. I remember it being a British YouTuber but I can’t remember his username to save my life; but the series was about 30 videos long. I was wondering if anyone on here knows what I’m talking about. I think the mod name was villagecraft or something similar to that or maybe minecolonies, it’s been so long.
Im building this corridor/staircase connecting my house to my storage room and need help choosing blocks and design to the walls and ceiling (oak planks and some log preferrably
There was another bug I had where it wouldn't let me open the command or chat box. I found a fix for that bug online. All I had to do was uninstall the options.txt file. But, I still haven't found a fix for this bug yet. Does anyone know anything?
I'm looking for nothing too crazy. I want vanilla+ mods. I mainly am looking for stuff on 1.6.4 because that's a version I really like.
Is anyone down to create a silver age Minecraft server? Ideally on version 1.4.7 or 1.3.2 but any version up to 1.6 works for me.
My friends all prefer the newer versions or modded while I like myself some older vanilla versions.
I'm also very interested in making low-effort videos on youtube, so if you don't mind or even want to participate, leave a comment.
I'm open to suggestions.
I was watching this guy play Minecraft 1.6.4 again because he has some cool mods and I don't know what they're called and I'm curious what mod this cobblestone spawner is from. I think there's a chest under the spawner and you can't see it in the picture yet but there was carved sandstone on the spawner and I know there's silverfish in those spawners. Does anyone know what mod this is? It seems cool.
Hey, friends. I recently booted up my favorite version of Minecraft that I hadn't played in months. Silver age really is an underrated gem, isn't it?
Seed is "Sprite"
I can say I'm not the biggest redstone guy, so figuring the lamps out was a bit of a hassle lol.

'Ello! That was quick (just a few days). I didn't have to invent too much from the ground up. Just changed a few things from my ValleyCraft and DewyCraft Packs, and added a few custom ideas for the Roman theme, and the template cozy Pack. (Although I'm English, I'm using the American spelling 'cozy' here.)
The idea is to create a cozy, bright, pixel art-like series, with a general Stardew Valley feel to it. If you want to see something in particular, please let me know in the comments. Since I'm really only changing the building blocks for most of the Packs, I can make a Pack pretty much daily (certainly every few days). This has the great advantage of not only creating an entire web of related Packs, just themed differently, but it also means I could easily make dozens of Packs (which would normally be impossible, since each standard Pack takes 40-100 hours).
For the first time, I've added some 'gradient' type blocks for r1.2.5, so you can actually add natural shadows, etc. (for the primary building blocks/limestone texture).
I also created a little house in Creative Mode (r1.2.5) to show the architecture/core Pack for the Rome theme.

In the works thus far:
- Winter-themed Pack
- Spring-themed Pack
- Summer-themed Pack
- Autumn-themed Pack
- Christmas-themed Pack
- Halloween-themed Pack
- Egypt-themed Pack
- China-themed Pack
- Athens-themed Pack
Thanks, and enjoy! :)
Let me know if you want to see something in particular. It has to either be (a) biome-based (e.g. desert wasteland/snowy); and/or (b) driven by a clearly defined architectural style with the base building blocks (e.g. Cobblestone, Stone Bricks, Sandstone, Bricks, Stone Slab); and (c) fit into the broader Stardew Valley-like, cozy, bright, high-contrast, stylised pixel art style.
Neapolitan Themed Bakery ^^
There's a beach nearby as well, which leads to a big ocean. This is pretty close to the spawn of this seed (number is 7817683676007849943) and there's a ton of surface caves. I'm planning on making this world my long-term 1.6.4 world so I'm pretty happy to see some cool stuff like this already.
Yea I know last post was like a.. WEEK AGO??? Oh my...
Anyway, this is Day 2 of my adventures on FTB Ultimate. Mostly mining exploration with a bunch of surprises!
Of course I started this time with mining some coal near me and accumulated almost half stack. "Good start of this day!" I could say if not me FALLING down into ravine because I mined one block under me. And I even tried to be careful standing on two blocks to escape situation like that! But well, I was heading here anyway, just did it.. em, little faster.
Ravine was pretty big, but mostly standart looking for MC. There many ores here and there, which again expected. Then I saw some caves going deeper and in other directions. But I didn't want to venture this far from my base, atleast until I get some better equipment. Lucky me, there was some iron in the ravine itself. But then I saw on the minimap some anomalious number of skeletons. Kinda weird that game spawned them randomly in so many numbers, right? Well after I asked this question, I start digging into ravin wall to find nothing less but A SKELETON SPAWNER! UNDER MY (temporary) HOUSE. This made me really happy, I know that modpack have some mod where you could automate this, but of course I don't really know right now how it actually work. It gonna be a problem to solve for another day. And tbh I get so excited that I completly forgot about any loot those dungeons have. Plus a bunch of skeletons there stopped me from infiltrating considering I didn't have any armor and not that much food.
I choose to return to my base of operation: my little cave up on the mountain.
Getting up I kinda forgot at which side my main ladder was, well... We all do mistakes, isn't it? But I could climb up and thats what really matters! After smelting iron I made pickaxe for more hard ores and chestplate to protect myself, even if it was not much.. But before returning to caves I wanted to go for a small walk on the surface where I found some really dark cave and Thaumcraft totem that had.. em, I don't know, wisp get my ass kicked pretty hard that I choose to leave them alone with thier cool treasures (But don't tell them I will surely get back to steal any item from their thaumic chests).
This defeat damage my self esteem so hard that only way to save it was building! I still not sure where I want to build my main base or centre of operation. For now I just finished small ladder that lead to main entrance of my cave house. I have some variants: building rooms inside the mountain like some sort of ant OR building the main part down the mountain beside the small lake and expand it inside a mountain. What do you choose? Maybe something completly different?
After that small building break I continued my exploration of deep dark caverns. Which started with me realizing this version of Applied Energistic drop dusts along side certus quartz. Don't know why I concentrate attention to this, but it felt so unusual to me which make me wonder more how this AE version works. Is there presses at all? Do I even need look for meteors?
And yea, btw, I kinda want to try play without guides atleast in early game. Maybe even try this time to experiment on things more myself and figuring out stuff. I just think it can add to experience of exploring this old modpack.
But wait, where were we? Ah, yea, well after this small revelation I got deeper into one of the caves. And I forgot to mention, maybe you already were wondering why I have signs in my hotbar? Answer is simple: for better navigation. Caves can have many paths and mark which one lead to exit could be good idea. Plus you of course can later write about some other cool places. I for quite long time now use this technic.
After finding a bunch of different ores and resources (cool shaped crystal btw) and fighting some angry mobs I get quite good amount of stuff, one of which was some weird things for Equivalent Exchange Orb. I heard about this mod and how kinda unbalance it can get, so I am not sure I want to use it, but maybe my oppinion will change for some reason. We will see if this playthrought get long enough (I hope).
"Wait why your hotbar tools change????" Well you see my dear reader, who for some reason like to see my yapping, truth is I actually fooled you! THATS RIGHT! I actually TOOK A BREAK and return BACK to my base between screenshots! Truly most deceiving moves from me...(I surely not messed up screenshots order while editing, of course not!) Anyway, getting back with resources I choose to make gem based tools from RedPower. They probably at the same level as Iron which is good, because I surely want to save iron for other things.
I get back to collect some more things, but ultimately after that mining session I want to help my food situation. In simpe terms to build a farm to eat something. I get down the mountain to collect crops and stumble upon small cave where I put some torches in. I said I ended my mining session? Well coal ore had different opinion on that and I couldn't resist. Essentially I get back to base and made small area for crops: corns, wheat and something called henequen, which later how I guesed could be used for creating strings. Convenient!
But when I was building I saw in minimap again too many mobs, but this time Zombies. I thought for myself "ANOTHER spawner?!" and start digging down. No way my mountain had two spawners and yes this was true — it was just quite spacios cave on the side of my mountain and thats it. Those zombies deceived me! Damn them! There nothing for me but to return to my other duties while crops grow. This situation reminded me about skeleton spawner and then I remember that I completly forgot about loot in the dungeon! And of course when I try to got down I slip up and fall from ladder down AGAIN. What a clumsy... I choose to go throught a cave I suspect will lead to spawner and found its actual entrance. Things go smooth from here, only one bone guy spawned which was not a issue for me now. I lighten up spawner and checked for other mobs around. Things were clear. I started to open the chests: first one was kinda meh, but not that bad, while second...
IS THAT A FREAKING PORTAL GUN??????????
I literally couldn't believe that thing was laying RIGHT THERE all this time and I could take it earlier! This felt like a game changer, but I am not gonna lie when I tried to play around with that I almost get killed with how uncareful I was. So I just return back to check on my crops and use some bonemeal. I helped my plants grow and collected some wheat and mentioned earlier plant that essentially gives me strings.
I made my first proper Bread that marked start of my self sufficent food supply and call it a day.
What else I found in dark caves? Will Wisp gang be defeated? What new things I build? And what mods I gonna dive into?
>!I don't know, sorry pal I don't see future.!<
But I hope to continue this journey to see it in present (AND having more frequent post schedule this time. Surely..! R-right..?).
