Cozy starter house.
Made this on a 1.8.9 server I play on, and no, there is nothing to address aside from the house itself.

Hi everyone,
I recently got interested in playing Minecraft 1.5.2 due to nostalgia reasons. However, it seems like every instance I have of this version has a bunch of these black squares everywhere in the world. I understand that if you interact with the block you can remove this black square, but it is really ruining my experience. How can I find a version of 1.5.2 that does not have this problem?
Thank you :)
Honestly for me it is the Super Mario Mash-Up pack, altough its only exclusive for Wii U and Switch, it haves many Super Mario locations on the overworld and nether, haves many secret pipes, castles and many other secrets, it haves also incredible Mario themed textures and has more than 40 skins based on the Mario characters plus it haves all the Super Mario 64 soundtrack!!! This is my favorite Mash-Up but for you guys, whats your most favorite and nostalgic Mash-Up pack of Legacy Console Edition???
so a few days ago I started a modded world on version 1.7.10 and I became really obsessed with it, I felt like drawing this as sort of a love letter to that world and to the letsplays of my childhood!
oh and here are my animal names for the funny:
pigfred the phyg (aether mod)
zera the dog (doggy talents)
blackstar the kitty (mocreatures)
I'm playing on 1.6.4 with a limited block pallet, and I always have trouble with choosing a pleasing color pallet. I know it's monochromatic, but do the center pieces make up for an other stuff make up for it? Or should I still vary it? Cause' I always get conflicted with monochrome builds 'cause I see pros and cons with it.
So I was bored playing Minecraft, especifically the leaked Windows Edition and I built this house, surprisingly I think it looks for me very good, the design looks awesome and altough its small, it haves all the neccesary to survive, obviously I made this on Creative but I am planning on making the exact same house on a future survival. So what are your thoughts guys, did I cook or I get cooked???
Exalm's Mods: OldDays/NBXlite is what appears to be a modpack that turns r1.6.4 into an experience similar to beta. As someone who is looking to combine r1.6.4 with b1.7.3 terrain (while removing some features), this mod is extremely interesting. Here is the link to the forum post: www.minecraftforum.net
Unfortunately, it seems as though all links to his r1.6.4 release of the mod have been taken down or corrupted. That being said, a GitHub page is still available: github.com; I am having a very hard time making sense of it and loading it into Prism Launcher (MultiMC).
If anyone has a simple jar file for this mod or can figure out how to load it into Prism Launcher it would be greatly appreciated <3
Why did minecraft stop getting big upgrades at the time when the whole internet was asking for an end update. What was the reason to stop the version to 1.22. other than continuing the rhythm. Even though minecraft team still told us that they'll give us updates for like 15 more years
I want to start a new Minecraft world, but I'm not sure which version to choose. I have 4 main choices, 1.1, 1.2.5, 1.5.2 and 1.6.4
I'm just wondering what would be the best version for that
Edit: For some reason auto-moderation is saying this post is breaking rule 1 of this community. How?
so ive been in the golden age community for awhile (like a year) and ive been in the silver age community off and on for about half that time, and ive played 1.6.4 and release 1.1, but i wanna know the REAL sweet spots. 1.1 is fun, i like it, and 1.6.4 is also quite enjoyable, but i got bored. i enjoy 1.12.2 (ik it isnt silver age, its more of a late pre modern era) but i wanna play versions actually considered silver age and educate myself on them more! so... yeah. whats the popular versions/the ones you PERSONALLY enjoy?
I built a retaining wall to contain the flat land in front of my home but I'm seriously starting to consider breaking it down. I have tried various things for an entrance into the area but I couldn't come up with any way that satisfied me. I built this winding path an hour ago but I'm starting to think that even that looks ugly. Maybe I should just completely tear the wall down and just live with how the hill had generated naturally. And to make an entrance to this area is quite difficult due to the steep terrain and the river. Convenience is definitely a problem. Any help or ideas are welcome.
Just curious because the golden age are different versions for everyone. Be honest, which version do you consider the golden age?
