What texture pack is this?
Does anyone know what texture pack this could be? The screenshots are from the version like 1.6.2 i think if that helps at all lol.

I’ve been making a modpack to roughly recreate 1.6.4 in 1.20.1, and lighting is an important factor in actually making it feel right. Mainly just using Nostalgic Tweaks for this.
I couldn’t find a single discussion dedicated to this, and answers to similar questions online have been contradictory. That, and most posts immediately jump to beta lighting. Simply looking at the different versions isn’t too helpful for the untrained eye, and I’m not sure if there are subtle differences I’m missing. Hence, asking online.
I found this modpack: https://modrinth.com/modpack/diamond-age
But I feel it is a bit buggy specially if you use your own resource packs and such. I feel like there is a ton of good golden age recreation modpacks for modern minecraft but I feel like the same can't be said about the silver age.
About one year ago I started a forever world to keep me motivated during med school. I began in a 1.0 world and have been slowly upgrading it, taking time to actually experience the content of the game instead of just rushing to the next update.
The plan is to keep going beyond Silver Age, soon I'll be upgrading into 1.7 and 1.8 (prob next month), then continuing onward 1.9+ while building new bases, farms and infrastructure to connect different biomes. I think it'll be really cool to see how my building style changes as I experiment with the new blocks and terrain (I've already got some pretty nasty cutoff chunk borders!)
It’s become a really fun long-term project, and hopefully it inspires some of you to slow down, and build your own forever worlds :)
Not sure if im the only person who has hated the combat update since its release, thats kinda around the time I stopped playing Minecraft (on and off) for several years. Does anyone have a preferred version before the combat update and why? And does it still have a somewhat frequent activity with modding?
Started it last night and it’s coming along great. I’ve found two separate cave systems and have a bunch of iron and coal, already made a full iron armor set and have the tools.
My base currently consists of a house that’s basically a cube, but I like the charm in “ugly” builds. I’m doing some landscaping on the outside and the terrain generation here is interesting.
But I have one problem: I can’t make a fence. I’m able to make fence gates, but I can’t make a fence even though the recipe is correct.
I managed to escape the Battle Cavern Map of the Minigames, this only works on Large and Large+ options aswell it only works on 1.13+ consoles (Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, PSVita and Wii U)
I found this way that its super easy that only needs a TNT with some blast protection armor, Its super easy to do and it connects to some unused caves that connects to a waterfall that lets you escape, outside you can see the normal world with a unused mossy stone bricks structure and a village but unfortunatley you cant go up too much because there is an invisible barrier altough its pretty interesting to escape this map
This resource pack adds idle, hurt, and death sounds for the witch mob.
Unfortunately, only 1.7.x is supported due to it being the only version with sound hooks for the witch. If someone knows how to code (unlike me :p) in i would love to make it into a proper mod.
Special thanks to this reddit post for helping me accomplish this.
EDIT: I only discovered now only 1.7 has the witch sound code so the title is a lie but i cant change it :p
İ accidently shared ın golden age so here you go
Ive been looking for hours and i found only 1 online and it was in russia so my ping was horrible.
I really want to find a server in any of this versions but i think nowadays it is extremely niche couse most old servers or nostalgic are in beta.
My domain 70 days in . I love it

--- END ERROR REPORT a44ae98a ----------
I just started a 1.7.10 survival world because that old Minecraft aesthetic was just so appealing to me. I found this nice hill in the middle of a flower forest and I cleared it out to build a house and I do think the area is super nice. The spawn was inside of the mega taiga biome in the background so i had to travel a lot to find a place for building. Does anyone have any recommendations about what to build , and how to build? I want to have a classic old Minecraft house with big windows , lots of carpet and of course a fireplace.
Hello! I recently started what I plan to be a very long term world on r1.8, and I want to ensure its longevity. How can I make backups? Ideally I want to back it up before each session and have multiple different backups!
I'm tired of the Microsoft launcher and I'm looking for the original launcher, but one that's cracked. I literally can't play any version below 1.9. :|
