Help me choose a between Moza vs Simagic setup

I've been running a Fanatec DDpro 8nm with CSL load cell pedals & a GT wheel for a while now. I am looking at upgrading to more premium end equipment.

I am stuck in two minds between these two configurations.

  1. Moza R25 ultra + GS V2P wheel + Mbooster pedal & throttle set.

  2. SImagic Alpha evo Ultra + GSI GXL wheel + Simsonn or Simnet pedals.

I struggling to choose as if I go Simagic I lose the active pedal & if I go Moza I compromise with the base & wheel.

I'm leaning toward Moza mainly because of value & bundle discount but I would like some advice on the tradeoff? Will I regret choosing Moza over Simagic base?

Thanks

Hey Guys I need Help FFB Settings CSL DD 8 NM 2.1v

Hey, i already went to similar threads here, but I couldn't find a sufficient answer, and they were also all before the 2.1 update.

Since the update, I have the feeling that the ffb changed, and it's harder for me to fine tune in the car update.

Settings

My specs

Platform: Xbox

Wheel Base : CSL DD 8nm

Settings:

Fanatec App:

Sen/Auto

FFb/ 100

FuFo/ off no signal support on the Xbox

NDP/20

NFR/off

NLN/off

INT/2

FEI /FOR /SPR 100

InGame Global:

Global FFB / 90

Amp lower effects / 0

Break Amp / 6

FFb Filter / 2

FFB Headroom / 70

Rumble strength/ 5

InGame Car Setup:

Gain/ 1.40

Steering Feel Boost / 0

Alignment Boost: 1.20

Load Boost / 0.20

Steering friction Boost / 0.0

Eq low / 1.1

Eq mid / 1.1

Eq low / 1.0 / 0.7

Steering Rack Ratio / 1,4

Steering Stiffness / 1

Steering Damping / 1

Cars:

BMW M4 GT3 Evo

Porsche Carerra Cup 964

Mazda MX5

My Wheel Base is clipping a lot in high G corners like the T3 fast left hander part in Spa. Settings feel fine on tracks like Donigton GP or Nürburgring GP. i can live with a little bit les torque, but I want to feel everything that my limited Wheel Base offers without overpowering it (clipping).

Or do I read the output of the ffb in the game hud wrong?

Am i doing something else wrong?

What are your settings?

I'd like to know how you guys are doing.

Right now, I feel a bit lost. But I do like the Game itself. I have the feeling I'm messing something up with the tuning of the Global and Car settings in the game.

Any suggestions are more than welcome 🙏

The five setup changes worth making before you touch anything else

I see a lot of posts where someone changes eight things at once and then can’t tell what helped. Here’s the order I’d work in, and why.

1. Tyre pressures. Everything else sits on top of the contact patch. If pressures are wrong, every other change gives you a misleading answer. Target the hot pressure mid-stint, not the cold number.

2. Brake bias. Costs nothing, changes the car more than most people expect. Forward for stability and understeer on entry, rearward for rotation. Move in 0.5% steps and do three laps between changes.

3. Ride height and rake. Sets the aero platform. Get this wrong and your wing changes do something other than what you expect. Lower usually means more downforce until you start bottoming out — and bottoming out costs more than the downforce is worth.

4. Anti-roll bars. Now you’re balancing front against rear. Softer front for more front grip, softer rear for more rear grip. One end at a time.

5. Differential. Last, because it’s the one that masks other problems. Coast ramp for entry rotation, power ramp for exit traction.

Wings and dampers come after all of this, and honestly for most people dampers are a waste of time until the rest is sorted.
One change, three laps, write down what happened. Boring, but it’s the only method that works.
What order do you work in? Curious whether people who came from real motorsport do it differently.

Did I just brick my GT DD Pro?

Was playing GT7 and noticed that my wheel Porsche podium gt3 flashed a message that the driver needs to be updated. I download the latest Fanatec app version 1.5.2.3. During the firmware update it throws the error “Failed to detect Fanatec wheel base”. Tried a hefty thunderbolt cable and still the same problem.

Led is flashing blue. If I disconnect the power adapter and reattach it. The base will turn back on, but the wheel no longer works.

Thanks in advance for any help

Moza r12 weird notch

Hi, I’m coming here to Reddit because Google and chat gpt can’t help me come to a conclusion. I have a moza r12 and It all started after I let go of my wheel in an accident at lemans and my wheel started going crazy back and forth due to the high speeds and the crash . Since then I’ve been having a weird notch or click feeling when I exit a turn with high ffb or when I’m going fast on a straight and slightly turn my wheel. The weird part is that i stoped playing for a while to go eat dinner and when i came back it was gone for about 2-3 laps and then it came back which is what is confusing me. Im very lost any help would be appreciated. Btw the wheel base is only two weeks old and ive already recalibrated the wheel and no luck.
