OK, so, I think I'm VERY screwed... is this salvageable or should I restart (Campaign Mission 8)

OK, so, this is mission 8 of the campaign... Maybe I shouldn't have thrown rocks at those corruption stones :( or could there be anything else that caused this?

So I probably should restar mission, right? How do I AVOID this from happening?

EDIT: OMFG that dark seraph was someone outside the queue getting to 100 and summoning a demon IN HELL O_o

Can someone help me direct an Envious soul to the Envyest?

I’m trying to work out the path splitter thing and I can’t make heads or tails of it. When I switch C to Equal Locked Sun Envy, the soul goes to the fallback route (A). Then I try putting it on A an it still goes to A. What am I doing wrong?

Is it possible to unlock the campaign w/o a full playthrough?

Simply put, I was playing, my PC crashed and my save was corrupted. The game started as if I loaded it for the first time and my campaign progress was erased.
The cloud save got overwritten as well and I don't really feel like replaying the tutorial and first five levels.

What are your Unethical, out there, not standard strategies?

Discovered this game last week, worked through the campaign and am now doing the mandates. I love factory games, and the combination of factory style + management + pathing is a blast.

What are your "unethical" strategies?

Ill start

  1. When dealing with Saints in a waiting queue, i often use a Secretariat imp with all the traits that give bonuses on soft and critical failures, and reduced work time. She is often an absolutely horrible imp for any other purposes, and ends up voiding dozens if not more souls in a playthrough, but she generates a lot of cash! I tend to also put her booth near a fear river to reduce her motivation even more so she's even slower. More time spent in the queue = more patience removed. combined with some birth rate bonuses and the voided souls are not a problem

  2. once I unlock the Imp Bongo Club or the Administrators Museum, I start picking up imp traits for reduced work time - which means more breaks. Which means more money/faith. Make those imps into productive resources as well as soul processors!

edit:

thought of another

  1. Trapping souls in an loop of Hellpuppet/upgraded buildings until they become a deviant due to the general area corruption of Hell itself, then sending them to the specialists - works best if your hellscape is too effective and your overworld is too safe so you arent getting enough souls (of course you could just go make sure you get more :P)

issues with sorter.

hi, i am new here so sorry if i should have asked somewhere else. the sorters don't seem to work. i mean like at all, they don't sort them. they tell them where to go but the doors don't open and they get stuck there unless i pick up and move the sorter. (apologies if my sorter system doesn't make any sense i have been fiddling with it to see if i could fix it on my own.) the fall back is B so they should go straight, with all envy deviants going to the left to A. i just added C to try and see if that was the issue so you can ignore that. im pretty confused and new to the game as well so youll have to bear with me. also i haven't slept all night due to other issues so if i am missing something simple please let me know.

Edit: i think i figured it out. i took out the waiting booth and put the sorter back in and it seems to be working fine.

Why do people ever get rid of saints?

Saints go into the eternal purgadollar never ending fun ride of terror! They're prayer wheels of commerce!

edit: AH! So it's only once per cycle, I hadn't realized. I was playing through the campaign and thought I saw my money continuing to rise when they were running through it, but I didn't notice the effect that happens when they actually earn money!

Thank you everyone for the advice!

Rate my setup

I basicaly go for variation of this every single time, treating the most sins in the onisins docs and the piling the rest into the sincobulators to get treated with specialist, so I want to hear your thoughts on it since I dont think many people use the sincombulator as I do.

the one last step this set up would undergo its demonfication aka the Deviant setup would void souls and all the other buldings apart would get a upgrade, dont thin there is point adding extra specialist or omnisins docs, thou ading decorations and moral boosting stuff, will be done too.

the boons I am runnig are:

The tricks of the dead

Bountifull lazines

Usefull perverts

Craving the precius

Porn industry

How to get into the harder difficulties

Hi, so I been playing the challenge mode on the normal difficulty finally conceding to the game after I wasn't able to realy win on hard.

So there few things that change drastically between the two and I think I am worst hard difficulty player then before I switched to normal.

Profits

Some buildings become unprofitable meaning many of layout that work for me on normal dont work on hard.

Its imps resources or even the omnisins doctors loops luckily for them after they get a level 2/3 it seems they are in the green.

Sins

This is coused by you not treating souls slower with the omnisins you cant build more couse they aren't profitable.

While on normal you always wish the souls have more sins so you can use the special buildings on them on hard they all have egnofe for the special buildings so all that happens is they clog it at the special bulding not helping at all.

And yea it is better then the omnisins docs But they also have a higher upkeep meaning they indead dont make cash until the imps get levels or you get upgrades.

And this ofcourse slows down heros production

Heros

All this means you have way less heros to work with

And spending it in the right places is critical for suces.

Wich yea I very much like but it like makes certain things completely inviable on certain maps.

Like you need the black hole for the imps resources.

Or you need the soul eater if you want fast growth of population.

Does every litle bit matter?

One thing that was interesting to me I played two times the same map on hard and one time I put the treatment facilities like at the end where I put them in the late game all the time and in the other I started with them at the front then moved them.

Esensialy in one they walked like 40 tiles extra.

And I have gotten the heros much faster especially since when I get the first 5 I buy some treatment thing be it critical damination or some specialists.

Wich makes the first few that much more important. Since it snowballs.
