Can an artist delete their entire work portfolio and change their username and socials?
Odd question but... I just recently got a commission back and I noticed that it's something that I definitely would not have ordered. Not only because of the artstyle but also because it's an artist whose name I don't recognize and I would've never ordered from an artist who has their entire work portfolio private that looks to be the same preset black and white pose. Going off of context clues from my sent request, I'm pretty certain they had a completely different artstyle too that was in color.
I decided to check their socials and it only had a misskey that was created literally just 3 hours ago as of posting this. Which is weird because I sent this request about two months ago. So I guess I'm just wondering if I got scammed or something...
EDIT: Okay after doing some research and remembering some things, I do remember the artist and it does look like they deleted all their socials and just sent some sort of edited preset artwork :/
EDIT 2: Skeb gave a refund and also banned them!!! ^^
