Considering changing peptides from mediK8 liquid peptides to either Allies of Skin or Alastin Restorative complex
Any reasons why one is better than the other? Thank you for your replies!

I got a Moxi laser today and my skin seems to be handling it well. After the treatment she used the Skinceuticals Phyto Corrective Mask and sent me home with the mist. I won’t use actives during the healing process, and I think my other usual gentle staples should be pretty solid but curious if I should get anything to support healing more? Any product recommendations to help with healing? Should I use mineral SPF while healing? I use EpiCerum for moisturizer. I also have two more treatments scheduled. TIA!
I'm currently using Tatcha The Brightening Serum every morning, but I'm almost out and I'm wondering if there's something more effective.
My main concerns are uneven skin tone and dullness. I'm due to finish my Accutane course in about a month, and my plan is to use tretinoin 3 nights a week and azelaic acid 3 nights a week. I've never managed to tolerate tretinoin every night, so I don't plan to increase the frequency.
Given that routine, what would you recommend as my morning active?
I've been looking at vitamin C serums, including Medik8, Sunday Riley, and Paula's Choice. I'm also considering Caudalie Vinoperfect since it seems to get recommended so often for pigmentation and brightening.
For those who've tried these, which gave you the best results for evening out skin tone and improving radiance?
Thanks in advance!
IDK about you ladies but I have been waiting for NIOD to restock their copper serums. Finally they did this and I ordered today :) They have been out of stock for months so get it while you can
eBay have $180 retail priced Ferulic CE and Phloretin CF for less than $30. They look like the exact same bottle and packaging and come sealed. Are they the real thing? If so, how is that possible?
Are you cycling products? Do you have a minimum/ maximum set point? What are your feelings on absorption and what are your steps to maximize? Would love to hear thoughts on this, and from experts who can weigh in on the science of it all.
I posted yesterday about trying find new routine. I do have dry skin, some wrinkles, 39yo, sun damage etc. I narrowed down some products today but am overwhelmed on how many I actually need. Was hoping to buy on 4th July sale yet too. Looking at skinbetter alto adv, Alpharet, skinceuticals ptiox serum, triple lipid, ptiox cream, ce ferulic, alastin rsc, or epicutis lipid serum. Does anyone have suggestions? Thanks!

I started using the essence, serum and smoothing cream of the Gatineau collagene hydra essence range 5 weeks ago. All the products feel lovely on the skin, no pilling and works well with makeup or on its own.
I noticed my combination skin has little pimples, spots which is not going away. I wonder if anyone else used this Gatineau range? Did you have good outcomes with it? Did it cause skin irritation or did you see good results?
Thanks in advance for your replies.
Tomorrow I’m headed to a large US City near me that has several high-end beauty retailers all in one place. I’ve never been to a Blue Mercury and so I’m wondering if this is a place where I can try/play with products like at a Sephora or Ulta? What is your experience with the staff? Do they let you shop independently? I’m also hoping to do some shade matching with a high-end makeup brand. Are they helpful?
Feedback and suggestions appreciated 😘
Advice needed! I’ve recently lost some weight, and I’m revamping my wardrobe a little as I’ve gone down a few sizes. Part of that includes a few more v-neck and lower cut tops than I’ve worn in the past.
I’m noticing, however, redness and splotchiness on my chest and décolleté. I’m super fair-skinned, prone to rosacea - so I’ve been pretty diligent about sunscreen through the years.
Do you think the redness is just “my form” of sun damage? I really don’t have any dark spots.
I’d love to hear from others who have this and if you’ve seen improvement with any particular skincare products? Or should I just go straight to BBL or another laser?
I’m 54!
Hi! Looking for feedback ! It is for moisturizing . I know it is to be used in the morning BEFORE Plated Intense ! I’m anxious to try it !
Are the Dr Dennis Gross peel pads really the best thing since sliced bread like everyone says , or are they overhyped ?
If they are overhyped ( or didn’t work for you) , what have you used that was better ?
If you use it , how do you use it , how often & what strength ?
A local medi-spa is having a big sale on Skinmedica products. I’m not loyal to any brand and have used a variety of products throughout the years. Any Skinmedica products you love? For reference, I’m almost 60 and fighting wrinkles. My skin is combo and by the end of the day can be a bit oily in the t-zone. I also hate heavy products during the day and prefer to feel like I’m wearing nothing. Any recommendations? Even though it’s a great sale it’s not worth it if the products don’t perform.
Just curious if anyone has tried both and has an opinion on which (if either) has made more of an impact on their look the next morning? I am mid-30s, have combination skin that’s been looking pretty tired lately, have a date tomorrow night and am planning on doing a 111skin celestial firming sheet mask during the day but feel like getting a head start.
Any input on full night routine would be totally welcome, products I have on hand as optional add-ons are:
Skinceuticals c / p-tiox
Medik8 liquid peptides advanced mp
TNS Advanced (this is brand new and has been a little drying*)
Alastin hyaluronic
Thanks!
I’m having success clearing up PIH but looking for something for the PIE on my arms and left side of face.
I use a combo of
DDG peel pads,
regimen AA,
mediK8 crystal retinal 20,
mediK8 PDRN,
medik8 liquid peptides and
sweet chemistry lipid oil and lipid cream (use only occasionally at night).
Not opposed to dropping any of these prods and I don’t follow a routine. (Please no lectures bc I know I should but I just can’t stick to one).
My arms also have a lot of PIE from mosquito bites, cat crates and who knows what else. My right arm looks like a PIE constellation . People I know well always comment or I can tell they’re looking at it.
I am currently looking for a new skincare routine. Ive used skinmedica, skinceuticals, u beauty, and most recently oliveda. Im 39 and have some wrinkles and sun damage. I am looking at alastin, skinbetter or going back to skinceuticals (trying ptiox) or ubeauty but am open to anything. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Trying to decide between Crystal Retinal and Intelligent Retinol ☺️
