I bought my first two Skmei watches yesterday. The 2328 was a little TOO white for my liking, so decided to try my Casio Gshock 5600 band on it which I replaced with a Stainless steel. The inner lugs are just just a little narrower than the watch, but the out strap luckily looks right at home.

I think it came out looking pretty good with a break in the color, and the Gshock strap is so much more comfortable than the Skmei stock one. What do you guys think? Looks good or an abomination?

6th Skmei in 45 days. Number 7, and 8 are in the mail. 😏

The latest is the 1123. Perfect gold color and the mirror finish is immaculate. Works with every skin tone.

I like the semi-solar idea. I got the black screen--a brain fart to be sure--I intended to get a white screen, but I saw the blue case and strap combo--and like a five yr old--I just thought, "I like blue." Now I have a blue watch with a black screen. The blue doesn't come with a white screen on black or camo strap/case. In defense of my five yr old powers of decision--I do have a number of black plastic Skmei (it sounds both plural and singular, Like "deer" or "milk"). I like the look of the black screen, but i just can't see what they say.

The watch: $12 USD

The band: $2.50 USD

The band helps amplify the beep by raising the watch a few mm.

You can wash the band in the washer and dryer.

The 2460 is metal. Sure it’s not full steel like the Casio A1100D but that one is $100+.

Available in silver, gold, or black.

It has an ElectroLuminescent forelighting which differs from backlighting by illuminating the numbers instead of the backdrop. But with this model though the backdrop still illuminates slightly. It’s very pretty. The lighting is a sea turquoise.

The buttons are on the front. I like this because I find that side buttons tend to press because of my chunky wrists.

It has a countdown timer!

The A1100D doesn’t have a timer and uses an amber LED.

I have dropped this watch many times, and the mineral glass has never failed. Still, I recommend buying a protective film anyway.

The only downside to this watch is that it does not display the month. Also if it fades from scratching it will reveal a copper color. It’s a watch that you should buy once a year and pass down the old one to someone in need.

I have seen this watch go as low as $7 with the coin discounts on AliExpress.

This watch is almost half the cost of an F-91w and it’s metal with a timer.

The bracelet it initially comes with is okay but pulls hair. The zulu/NATO strap is washable and slides off.

At least buy one. Buy it in gold and get a golden loop zulu strap. You will stand out.

I get many compliments on this watch, even though from working hard it’s beat up and shows much wear and tear.

I have had bad luck with resin cases, that’s why I need metal watches.

Just buy it. It’s such a great watch for the price. Nice and simple.

I love Casio, but this one is unbeatable for the price. The light is amazing, and the feel is fantastic, all for just $9.

Skmei are known for their digital and sport watches. I am interested in this quartz model of them. Anyone tried this one and what is your experience. Do you recommend it?.

Bought this white/blue model for 5$ for our family/friends sup river rafting (or surfing?) 1 month ago. Now its my everyday summer watch 😁

its fun, its not super colorful and plastic bright, its like muted blue with white and a little bit of orange on buttons. Got my first pike from sup while wife was rowing ahaha 😂

Functionality is all i need for now - just a time (with second time zone which will be good for travel), timer, stop watch, 1 alarm 🙂 comfortable soft strap, waterproof tested (but not for swimming), 1 minute ahead for that 1 month is ok for me too.

Thats it i think. If you are looking for this kind of summer watch - take a look on that 2543 (another colors are available too but not so cool...).

Great bargain for what it is, nice alternative to the more expensive G Shock dw5600 series models.
