Now i’m writing and thinking that when you stop in traffic, the hand break automatically comes on and then releases as you set off? only I’m sure it’s suddenly stopped doing this can’t fathom out why?

Sfeerverlichting - extra verlichtingsfuncties
Hiermee kun je je sfeerverlichting aanpassen voor meer comfort, veiligheid en een betere rijervaring. Bevat verlichtingseffecten die beschikbaar zijn in bepaalde rijmodi en waarschuwingsmeldingen, zoals rode waarschuwingen.
De functies van de sfeerverlichting worden automatisch geactiveerd, dus je hoeft niets te doen.

So i have a lodge interiour and maxx package, do I not get RGB footwell light with that interiour and they stay strictly white (slovenia)?
Also I assume I cant change that the auto light high beam turn on below 50 kph at like 30 kps which my octavia has, since that is unusable in country roads where I live...
So I took delivery of a MY2027 Elroq 60. So far so good. The car is really nice to drive. I have a very specific question though. Is there a way (apart from the dealer who is clueless) to know whether the battery my car was fitted with is the LFP version? I know it should be the case but in the details section of my app, under battery capacity I am quoted 59Kwh which is the NMC capacity. all other details are consistent with the 2027 version, like the new 350Nm motor. any help?
I honestly didn’t expect this to happen still, but in the MySkoda App the update to 5.6.4 days a now announced for the coming days (likely weeks based on past experience). My Elroq was produced in April 2025 (delivered with 5.4) and received the update to 5.4.4 (OTA).

Notes on functional restrictions and update requirements
If the vehicle is not locked within ten minutes after pressing the installation button, the update will not be completed.
Locking/unlocking the vehicle using KESSY is disabled. The (central) vehicle remote control remains functional throughout the process.
SAFE locking is not activated (the doors can still be opened from inside).
The convenience opening function is disabled (the central locking can be unlocked, but the windows remain closed).
The Coming/Leaving Home function is not activated (all exterior lighting is switched off).
The alarm is disabled, although the LED on the doors continues to flash.
If charging is currently active, the update cannot be installed.
While the update is running, charging the vehicle cannot be activated.
If the vehicle is connected to a wallbox or public charging station, charging may not resume after the update has been completed.
After the Over-the-Air update
Locking/unlocking the vehicle using KESSY is disabled. The (central) vehicle remote control must be used to unlock the vehicle for the first time.
Before the first start, a bulb-failure warning indicator may illuminate. This warning is caused by the initial system initialization and does not affect the functionality of the vehicle’s lighting. The warning will disappear once the vehicle is switched to the drive-ready “Ready” state. If it does not, please contact your Škoda service partner.

Ich bekomme bald meinen Skoda elroq 85x und überlege welche Thule Dachbox ich kaufen kann. Ich möchte sie möglichst groß und gleichzeitig nicht so hoch. Deshalb fände ich die "Motion 3XXL Low" sehr attraktiv. Die Frage ist ob die Größe auf den Elroq passt. Hat jemand von euch dieses Modell und hat Erfahrungen oder gar ein Foto?
Finally the MySkoda Club has some redeem options available. Of course it‘s likely not useful for anyone yet (as the services are already included for the first three years if I‘m not wrong), but at least they started with offering something for the points now.

I'm kind of curious what the downside of the Elroq is given how cost competitive it is to the ID3/ID4.

So, just over 10k on the clock of my vRS. It’s been nicknamed “The Stormtrooper” by my kids, and it’s been pretty much faultless.
I do 35-40k miles a year, based in rural Norfolk, UK. Most roads are bumpy dusty B-roads, twisty slow A-Roads and the occasional run on M11, M25, M1 and M6.
Charging - Getting 180KWh+ out of Tesla Superchargers as I tend to run my battery right down to 5% before charging. No issues.
Comfort - The seats can be adjusted so many ways. I love the thigh support (i’m 6’1) and the lumbar support works well. Setting it to button 1 makes things easy. The massage function is a bit ‘meh’. Loads of storage, except the glovebox. It’s tiny!!
Parking - Cameras work well, good views. Turning circle is good, but my Passat Estate was probably a little bit better. I haven’t used ‘park assist’ as I can’t get it to work.
Lighting - The headlights are insane. So bright, adjust to the road / weather etc - just awesome.
Power / Performance - When I set it to sport mode, its mad. Plant your foot and it just goes. Bags of grip, haven’t made the tires chirp yet so maybe i’m not trying hard enough.
Economy - Drive it gently in eco, turn air con off when not needed and it’ll do 300+ miles on a full charge with room to spare. Very impressed.

I received my new Elroq, and first EV, just over a week ago and there are a couple of things I am not sure about
a) on the dash there are 3 lights, one seems to turn green when my lane position is good, one seems to change to images of roads and roundabouts and the 3rd sometimes appears and shows a foot an a brake pedal sometimes green, some not? Whats it telling me?
b) when on drive mode sometimes, when no cruise control is activated, when I lift my foot from the accelerator it behaves like coasting, at other time it behaves like a less aggressive b mode, any ideas what triggers the different behaviour?

I just did a test drive of the Edition 60 yesterday, and while I generally liked it, there were a couple of issues with the driving position for me. I've not really seen them mentioned anywhere, so just wanted to check if anyone else had experienced them and had any suggestions?
Firstly, the dead pedal wasn't positioned far enough away for my liking. I'm not particularly tall, so that wasn't the issue, but it left my leg feeling at a slightly uncomfortable angle. Not a big problem on an hour long test drive, but makes me worry what it would be like for a longer haul trip
Secondly, and relatedly, I couldn't find a good position to rest my arm on the door side. I either had to just keep my arm raised, or I could kind of rest it if holding the steering wheel really far down, or really high up with my arm out at near 90 degrees
Finally, the vent (or whatever it is with the holes and styling) behind the screen kept being reflected up onto the windscreen. I know sun position can affect that, but it was at least a good half of the journey, from multiple angles
Not real deal-breakers I'm sure you'd agree, but they give me a moments pause when I consider the cost, and just wanted to see if it was just me?
P.S. I had adjusted the seat, and it didn't obviously feel like that could be a solution (maybe for the arm rest, but I'd probably have to trade off visibility?)
So the app icon keeps showing 'Activating'. It never goes 'Online'. When my car is on the app goes to the Blue dot, meaning it's on the move. So that works fine. Any advice on how to fix this? I just want my app to go Online so I can see/change my temp when the car is shut off. Thanks in advance

My Elroq (~6,000 miles) has randomly started creaking when turning the steering wheel to the left.
It was intermittent, but I have now isolated it to when there has been rain, for the next few hours, the car creaks when turning the steering wheel left.
Has anyone else had this issue?
I've booked it into the dealer for diagnosis, but unless it's been raining just before, they will say 'unable to replicate fault'.
Anybody got any advice please?
