✨️How to take part:

🖍 Deadline: from today, 4 July, until Sunday 12 July at 23.59 (CEST, UTC+2)

🖍 You’ll need to draw a rubbish picture of your skid or your favourite spirit. You’ll need to send in the drawing and the reference image. You can do this by commenting on this post or sending me a DM.

The drawing can be a crude copy of the reference image or simply inspired by it, but it must be clear that it’s based on the reference… so we can all have a bit of a laugh, of course 🤭

💩 What is an ugly drawing?

It’s a poorly executed drawing – something that a contemporary art museum might love, but which would make artists of yesteryear weep. The reference point is this drawing by Billi Elish (winner of an art competition by popular acclaim and a meme that has touched the hearts of many artists).

How will we know if your drawing is ugly enough to be in the running for a prize? You can send me your drawing and ask whether it breaks enough aesthetic conventions to be eligible.

🎨 How will the 4 winners be chosen?

First place will be decided by public vote. Once the deadline has passed, I will upload the drawings anonymously along with their reference: I will create a post for the vote and the drawings will be uploaded in the comments in the order in which I received them. The public will be able to vote for their favourite. The one with the most upvotes wins. Voting will be open for two days.

The other three places will then be decided by a draw using a wheel containing the names of the "artists"

(Don’t worry, all this will be explained in more detail in due course; I’m just telling you this so you’ve got some information to go on)

Once all the winners have been chosen, I will put them in touch with the relevant sponsor so that they can receive their prize 🥳

✨️ Some questions:

Can I submit an entry on behalf of someone who doesn’t use Reddit?

Yes! However, to prevent multiple entries from the same person, you’ll need to provide me with their social media perfile on a platform where you also have a profile. For example, you can send me their Instagram username and yours. That way, I’ll be able to verify that you’re two different people. You’ll also need to send me a name for their entry. And please bear in mind that, should they win a prize, I’ll get in touch with you via Reddit dm.

Are the prizes transferable?

Yes! If you win a prize for your entry, when you’re in contact with the sponsor of your prize, you can let them know if it’s for someone else and discuss the arrangements for handing it over.

What happens if I submit my drawing but don’t include a reference?

You won’t be able to take part, sorry. On this occasion, the competition requires both a drawing and a reference. Perhaps in future I’ll organise one where you only need to submit the drawing.

If I submit my draft on the first day and the final version on the last day, will I be placed higher in the public vote?

No, the order of the public vote is based on the order in which the final versions of the drawings are received.

I’d like to sponsor another prize – is that possible?

Of course! Dm me and we’ll discuss it. Depending on what it is and what stage of the competition we’re at, we’ll talk about whether it’s possible to include another prize in this competition or whether it’s better to wait for a future one.

Do I have to sign my drawing?

It’s up to you.

You describe your vision and I can tailor the complexity to be fair for both of us. I can do multiple characters but the more characters, the less detail for each of them, so if you choose only 1 character, it will be more rendered than an illustration with 3 characters.

I'll send a watermarked sketch before you provide the IAP, then I'll send the finished piece as soon as possible after, at minimum within 24 hours 🏃‍♀️

I accept major revisions for the sketch and minor after color. I will also provide frequent updates to ask for your feedback.

Hello everyone!! **(I dunno what happened with my first post but my pictures were not uploaded mb 🥀)**

the first art is for you to see how my current artstyle fits in with the game. Although it is not fully rendered, its a sketch more than anything. The rest is for you to feel my art out/some examples.

I am basically a veteran in the game, and I bought every season pass when I was active in the game. Unfortunately, I can't this time, so here I come! I'm also looking forward to it for another reason; this would be my first art trade in the game, so I wanna see how it goes!:3

I can do:

-some fun poses with different outfits/multiple angles, but fairly rough.

-busts, simple rendering with an easy background.

- a full illustration, except it's much more looser/painting-like.

- full body + portraits. like a character reference sheet, no background, cartoonish finish

note;; these illustration are from 2025-2026, so the style won' be exactly the same. (it will be pretty close though)

I'd like to get some art of my nest and its features... And I'd love to see some creative takes on it, but I'm not really sure how to offer payment/rewards, in case I get far more of a swarm of artists than I'm expecting.

I'd like to reward one artist with art that I'm going to request in colour, a $19.99 USD (or equivalent value) in-app purchase, and if I end up with a swarm of artists with art sketches or ideas that I happen to really enjoy, I'll be willing to fork over the cash to provide each of those artists a Moth Plush from the upcoming 7th Anniversary, as a consolation prize for putting forth the effort.
