it seems that a new international PR company has picked up slipknot... makes you wonder.
I’m assuming this is Sid related. It was there a few days ago.
He got kicked out because he was abusing his son’s toys
As a devoted Slipknot fan since 1999, I've watched this band go through countless changes over the years. Lineup changes are nothing new in the music industry, and sometimes they're simply unavoidable.
But lately, I've found myself genuinely disappointed by how some of those departures have been handled.
Joey. Chris. Craig. Jay. And now Sid.
What bothers me isn't simply that members have left. It's the lack of transparency surrounding it. Why delete the band updates? Why the secrecy? Why leave the fans who have supported this band for decades trying to piece together what actually happened?
We call ourselves Maggots. We've been there through the music, the masks, the madness and everything in between. I think we deserve a little more honesty.
So this fan art is my own interpretation of what's happening behind the curtains.
Clown is the Puppet Master, standing behind the table with his scissors, deciding which strings stay attached and which ones get cut. The members who have been ousted now lie lifeless on the table, while Corey, Jim and Mick remain suspended by their strings.
And Paul... well, Paul has always been there.
The question is: who gets cut next?
Corey? Jim? Mick?
Nobody knows.
All we can do is wait... and bleed.
I checked the record its self if you zoom in on the record look around the black circle read the number you see on it it will say 8655 1 B the original

My favorite "obscure/rare" Slipknot song probably is either Windows or Carve from the 1997 Silver Disc collection, I just like how unique they sound compared to the current day Slipknot, even for it being BEFORE their self titled album.
Edit: I know those specific songs may not be seen as rare or obscure, but rather just talked about in an extremely minimal amount.
Edit 2: The following links are the songs im talking about, if you were curious where to find them.
Jim Root and Mick Thomson appear on the cover of Guitar World in 2008.
I love Slipknot, they’re my second favorite band, and I know the memes are funny, but I find it interesting that so many people think the band is already done for just because they kicked Sid out. We don’t know what he did, and judging by the way everything has unfolded, whatever it was must have been pretty serious.
I saw the exact same comments when they kicked Jay out, and I admit I’ve only seen them live with Joey (Brazil 2011) and then again with Eloy (Brazil 2024), and both times they were absolutely brutal. And I highly doubt they brought Eloy in just to retire now.
So I’m asking: do you really think the band is going downhill and that the rest of the members will eventually leave, or could we actually see a resurgence of the band?
I can't recall which interview, and it might've actually been the Wikipedia Fact or Fiction with Clown, but there was a point where when asked about winding Slipknot down one day, one of them pondered why they couldn't just replace the classic Nine entirely with younger musicians and Slipknot be a generational band. Since the band has always been hyperfocused on being about the music and not the people behind the masks, though there seem to be legitimate reasons behind the departures for each member since Joey, maybe they're not overly concerned with having something of a rotating cast of characters. Maybe this is all falling in to the grand scheme of things, to have a powerful and youthful Slipknot again that can carry the flag once the remainder of the Nine understand they can't embody the name as they once did.
