Hear me out. As a drummer this album has one of the most inspired work by Joey and from what guitarists have told me is one of the most complex work from Mick and Jim. Also it has aged beautifully and is great as well as the final album from the “original” lineup. So tell me if I’m wrong but it deserves a lot more praise than it has.
I was doing a puzzle of all the slipknot albums and once I got to subliminal vortex a slight problem might have appeared.....
I really like them. There’s a Japanese lyric booklet and events where you can get the album for free(from 2008)

I’m writing this post to see if anyone could possibly provide me with some info on some Slipknot demos and live shows. I’m starting to dive even deeper into their history and I’m interested in finding out more about pre-S/T Slipknot.
- Does a demo of “Eyeless” exist? It seems like that song came out of nowhere. No preexisting riffs, no live video of the song in 1998 or before. It seems like that song is an anomaly.
- Did Slipknot ever demo “Slipknot/Gently” during the pre-production of S/T? Same thing with “Windows”, “Carve”, “Coleslaw”, etc.
- Are there any other live recordings of Slipknot in 1998? I’m aware of the Ranch Bowl show but, is there any more footage from that year?
- Is there any actual live footage of Clown wearing the “Killer Klowns From Outer Space” mask over his Vintage West G? I’ve seen the photo of Clown wearing the mask but, I’m curious to see if there’s actual footage out there of it.
- How come more pieces of media from MFKR/pre Self Titled haven’t been released? I know that this is a very redundant question so I apologize for that. However, I don’t quite understand the legality aspect of why more demos/live recordings haven’t surfaced.

I've been brainstorming some hypothetical lineups for when Slipknot ends up doing a US tour (with Shawn's health issues I could see it not happening until the end of 2027). So, here's my best one that I came up with (especially after a specific recent song that dropped): Slipknot with Motionless in White, support from Vended. What do y'all think? Seeing Motionless and Corey perform Playling God night in and night out would be awesome, along with the two of them being my favorite listens right now.

Trying to get more into slipknot and im especially intrigued by the parts where they bring in more hip hop elements like the DJ parts in the bridge of Sulfur or the vocal rhythm in Spit it Out.
Does anyone know who owns this mask right now ? I just know that it's a member of a band that toured with slipknot during Iowa, so i was wondering if anyone knew who was the guy ?
I know some of you agree, and some you don't. I personally like My Pain, though I'm split on how I liked in where it appeared on the album. That being said, Corey made a generalized statement about us, the fans, and I'm curious if you would agree with that or not.
