Hey there fellow maggots! Im in a slipknot tribute band and trying to come up with tracks to play or samples, really anything good for filling in the 30-60 seconds of time between instrument changes and tuning. All ideas welcome and appreciated 🤘0️⃣

Hey guys I need some suggestions or ideas for my playlist and I was wondering if someone knows musics that have the same energy or taste as my favorites like

We are making a road trip across the states and will be in Iowa for a day.

We are only going to Des Monies for 7-8 hours, marked with 🟢 is definitely going and marked with 🟡 is a maybe depending on time.

I know Lefty's bar (Safari Club) sadly closed it's doors last year, with no new owners, so no chance there 😞

Are there any local Slipknot related tributes such as murals, shops, potential museum displays etc etc? I heard Iowa isn't very welcoming to their image so there isn't any art dedicated to them etc? Not sure if that is true.

Also looking for locals food recommendations 😁 avoiding any chains, we want to support small businesses.

I hear a lot of extreme metal fans saying stuff like "this band isn't heavy at all" and that is directed mostly at nu-metal bands, Slipknot included. As a deathcore and death metal fan, I find some earlier Slipknot songs to be heavier than some death metal songs. For example People=Shit to me sounds heavier than Scourge of Iron by Cannibal Corpse while Necropocalypse by Infant Annihilator sounds heavier than both of the above. I just wanted to know your opinions on this matter.

What can we expect for the following years? The speculations are all over the place with some claiming that the band will disband soon, now that the majority is over 50 and now have a higher priority for family life, etc. and that they've sold their catalogue, although that doesn't mean anything, because this still doesnt stop them from making music. Interviews with band members first report that there is no ambition for new music, but later state that everyone is writing. We also see occasional studio photos on social media, meaning that there is still a spark left. Now that they've been touring for many years in a row, a break was definitely overdue, but I still have high hopes for good music in the future now that they have Eloy. What do you think of that?

I’ve been listening to Slipknot for about two months, but before a friend told me about them, I had never heard of the band. I’d be interested to hear what other fans think.
