Waters Light Blue - Almos Lataan

Here is a new song I wrote. Falling under Sadcore I think, although it is slow, no percussion, and has some contrasting, more uplifting sections. I've been trying to balance light and dark elements. Synth based, and later some strings. Dealing with sea theme, separation, so similar to one of my previous songs. Also, calming nature video with this one that I shot on a local walk in Switzerland.

Any feedback welcome.

More famous for doom than slowcore, but the live 40 Watt Sun performances represent Patrick Walker at his slowcore peak

If there is a more achingly beautiful song out there, I am yet to find it. Simple acoustic guitar, stripped back production, intimate vocal performance, it's all there - less a bedroom project, more of what happens when the ethos of Slowcore is given a more cautious, crafted construction. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KVFOpD8TZvc

fuzzy slowcore?

i've been getting into slowcore a lot recently; i've been a fan of duster for a while, but i've started listening to codeine, low, bluetile lounge, etc. are there any more slowcore bands that have that fuzzier/lofi/miscellaneously overdriven sound that duster has?

Purl ~ Winter and Summer

Hi!

Today i've re-issued the long-form albums Winter and Summer by Purl. These are two albums originally recorded in 1995–1996 and compiled from the same fragile, in-between period of the project’s existence. Purl had members of Julia & Papillon but have a sound not that agressive. The songs are beautiful, have a cosy emo touch to it. Very nostalgic, and sad at times.

Very 90's  & "slowcore" emo as some call it.:) I love these two releases & am happy Eric from Purl gave me a chance to issue these on two very lengthy cassettes

Have a listen in case you don't know them yet :)

Quickly becoming one of my favorite slowcore songs. Absolutely love the low fidelity vocals and the writing on this one. I just dont quite get the Medicine Bottle metaphor, anyone have ideas?
