Why do I always get to know about WWE releases from MJF😭😭
About a year prior, Cena confirmed how he would end 2025 as a retired in-ring competitor. Not everyone liked that he tapped-out to Gunther, but that’s how pro wrestling operates.
The biggest issue, and Cena admitted this during the PLE, is how the WWE is still figuring out what’s next. It’s been almost two months and outside of Cena making the announcement, WWE has not made any public comments. Right away, this yells problem.
Cena is one of those rare superstars who comes along every decade. You can boo or cheer the man and he doesn’t care. Give Cena a task and he will complete whatever is put in-front of him. So, with a totally new concept coming from his mouth to result in nothing (so far), it proves how WWE makes poor calls on the fly. Roman Reigns has entered the Bret Hart/John Cena tier of all-time stars
After seeing Raw last week I was thinking about where Roman Reigns fits historically.
To me, there’s a top tier that’s almost untouchable: Bruno Sammartino, Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, and The Rock.
Then there’s that next level of all-time legends: Bret Hart, Ric Flair, John Cena… and I think Roman Reigns belongs there now.
Five or six years ago I would’ve laughed at that statement because I really wasn’t a fan of his character. But the Bloodline run completely changed my opinion. His aura, promos, storytelling, and ability to make matches feel important elevated him into that A/A- tier of wrestling history.
Do you think Roman belongs in that group, or do you still have him a tier below?
