During late game, one q from a Smolder with vulnerability and sword of the divine can easily deal 60% of someone's health thanks to it's percentage health true damage burn. Against a 30k health tank, thats around 18k damage.

However I've noticed that the hamstringer I've had since round 2 only dealt 3-4k dmg the entire game?

How is this possible? With both vulnerability and jeweled gauntlet, surely hamstringer would be hitting 10k damage at the very least after a couple rounds against tanks.

Does it not work with abilities?

Hello everyone! I'm really enjoying the power and scaling of PTA and I was figuring out what setup fits well for it and here it is what I found. Doran's bow is incredibly powerful with PTA.

Same bases as before: 1st base - Cull+Refill.

2n base - T1 boots + LS

3d base - Pickaxe.

4th base - Finish T2 boots

5th base - Hexoptics

Continue with Shojin into Defensive item that counters enemy team. Locket/Randuin/Rookern.

4th item is always LDR for me.

5th item is FLEX.

This build is more of an AA style, mana flow solves issue with mana. Having exhaust is very strong for duels and scaling as well. I find TP less useful with this build.

Why I find this build strong aswell is Pickaxe being insanely strong component and both Hexoptics and Shojin has this component and both items have great build path.

You can't be 550 with no compensation and build full crit. "But what about"

1. Miss fortune: Is a lane bully so will leave lane better off than her lane opponent on average. Also, mf doesn't need to be at 550 range in teamfights, she can just ult and be very effective. On top of that, she get 100 ms for free
2. Sivir: Significantly more mobile than smolder and has a spellshield, despite all this an incredibly team dependent ADC, never very popular or well liked
3. Jhin: Can just provide utility in the teamfight until someone gets low at which point he gets in, does the fourth shot, gets a ton of MS and dips. No need to enter 550 range once every 2 seconds
4. Aphelios: 2 options, either he has white, in which case he has so much dmg nothing rly matters and he can even kill assassins before they kill him (smolder can ever even get close), or he has blue in which case he can just ultfish, plus a lot of utility in his purple and red which crit smolder never has
5. Draven: MS Button that refreshes on axe catch aside, he straight up has a knockback. Also, draven unlike crit smolder can actually build BT first, so he's significantly tankier
6. Lucian: Dash, auto, use an ability, auto, the dash is back up. Not even comparable.
7. Xayah: A straight up anti-dive adc. She has a root, invulnerability and an ms steroid.

Meanwhile for smolder we have: 35% slow for 1 second and a not even 2 second long MS steroid with a 20 second cd. This is about what Caitlyn gets. She's 650.

This character can't build full crit and be truly functional. He can build full crit and be like mid morgana: high wr, feels like shit, no one plays. Except unlike morgana there's no other role to go to. He'll just suck

PTA + cut down gives so much power early on. And does PTA outscales dft later on? Since you get increase dmg from stacks but you don't get additional ad =/

Okey, hear me out! Are we agree on that our Ult is kinda weak compared to other ults? In a sense of dmg and healing added per lvl point?

I have now played 5 games without lvling ult on lvl 11 and instead moved it to lvl 15 and then again on lvl 16.

On lvl 11 I rather prefer more points into both Q and W for more sustain dmg rather than added 100 dmg which might be used few times before reaching lvl 16 :/

Has anyone tried it?

I'm tracking one of Korean smolder OTPs and he started to play Hubris + Muramana after his massive lose streak with Crit build. Now his wr skyrocketed after 30 games with this build.

Is it because Smolder is a small deer ?
