3x Bonus heal teeth + toothpaste + things die every 2nd heal = the most broken build

3x Bonus heal teeth + toothpaste + things die every 2nd heal = the most broken build

Got lucky with teeth this build got me vampire's ending. Felt crazy enough to share.

I had to plan out my potions for the hand traps because everything died before the door opened

Is there only one viable build?

Regardless of the character, strawberry build seems to always be the right choice. Same thing for objects, dice is the cheapest and the best object by far, others are really not that useful (or just toothpaste for removing the negative effect of a double healing tooth).

I love the game on many aspects, but all my runs feels the same, and it's disappointing for a roguelike.

Infinite spinning

Absolutely loving this game so far, but right more jam stuck infinitely front flipping from a clam trap

New update is great - some design changes are a bummer.

First time I played the game since the big update.
I'm not a fan of some of the new design work. The font for the enemy health and OK was better before - More hand drawn that suited the art style better. New one doesn't fit as well.
Also the star borders on text popup and the character sheets are waaaay too much. So distracting. k.i.s.s - This is so distracting!
Animation intro is amazing, though - great job!

Suggestions for Each Region

I think the game could use a bit more enemy variety, so I made five concepts (four monsters and one trap) to boost the roster a bit.

What do you think about these concepts? And what enemies or traps would you add to the game?

How are you MEANT to find the flute songs?

So I am fully aware you can just look up the codes, because duh. And yes, there are some cryptic hints regarding the blacksmith, between worlds, and the pond (that I know of so far), but I don’t know if that gets you anywhere meaningful.

Is the average player, without looking up the methods, meant to find the flute melodies through playing the game regularly? And if so, what is the best path to do so without spoiling oneself?

The “true” ending

I find it beautifully ironic that all characters have the what-if endings when you choose them.
In my opinion, I noticed that the easier the character to play the worse outcome for humanity you obtain

The peasant is if not the hardest character to play, yet has the best ending, and in my opinion the true ending.
I don’t know if yall agree or feel free to enlighten me

Has anyone here beat a run without using any sun powers (aside from the peasant for obvious reasons) and if yes is there any alternative ending from beating a run without any using any sun powers

Considering the fact that the peasant is the only character in the game that shows a good ending, I was curious if any of the other characters might have an alternative good ending if you choose not to use any sun abilities during the run since from the little lore we know about this game, most of the characters we play aren't really good people, even the ones with somewhat noble intentions were corrupted by the power of the sun (which makes it all the more poetic that the only character in the game that has a good ending doesn't have a sun abilty). So it would be interesting if they choose not to use their sun powers and thus resist the corrupt, and maybe could cause them to have a change of heart and return the sun to the sky and their endings show their change of heart. (Examples such as the knight fully committing to his second thoughts, or the mage refuses to test is mental capabilities with the corruption, and immediately returns the sun to the sky before it corrupts him even further.

And even if an alternate ending for each character doesn't exist in this game, I do hope the devs add something like that to add a bit more replayability into the game

But what do you guys think?

Healing build is way too broken

I'm having a lot of fun with the game, but once I discovered the healing build, it was pretty much impossible to lose. There's really no point in going for any other build, since the healing build basically gives you almost infinite health while just killing everything on screen. Just stack the increased healing value, heal every other room, and kill a random enemy every time you heal 2, and the game is basically over. I had no issues whatsoever getting the peasant ending because of the healing build.

I just wish there were more variety. I want other builds to also be viable, but they pale in comparison to just having infinite health and killing everything on screen :(
