Quote check - 24x 490w Aiko / 10kw Solis / 16.1kw Fogstar modular battery stack -£12,800

£12,800

As above, including all the usual stuff plus bird proofing.
Comparing it to an Sig system from UPS that I posed previously.

I thought this was great for 24x Aiko panels and a battery I could easily upgrade later myself. The backup system is an extra £650 which I also thought was reasonable.

Solar quote - I've read so many in here I think I'd better get some input on my own

Hi team,

I'm strongly considering going with this local company quote, they have been great and talked through everything (probably more than needed but I'm very curious about everything).

I got some similar/slightly cheaper quotes from octopus/boxt but not too keen on a blind quote whereas these have popped round twice.

Just wanted to check if anybody here has any thoughts? There are a few intricacies with the house mainly cable routing being a nightmare from the DB but, other than that my only wish is that they'd chosen to rotate the house 90 degrees either direction !

We have a Tesla so it seems like PW3 is our best option.

Best quote so far

Have had a lot of quotes but this is the only one that seems reasonable

Price is £12,800 plus scaffolding

Any thoughts?

Should I be asking for different panels?

Solar Quote - Northern Ireland (Advice)

This is my solar quote (two from the same company).

This didn't include an eddi/harvi, the guy said eddi's can be very problematic and I'd be better with a smart controller/switch for my immersion heater instead.

I also wasn't keen on where he was going to install it. On the wall behind my gate to my back garden. I suggested elsewhere but he said it can't be too near my gas flue? Possibly too far away really? Or I would have preferred behind my shed (bin area) or in my roofspace?

He said the solis quote (solis battery and inverter) had less waranty and said honestly it wasn't as good as ecoflow.

I do plan to get an electric car at some point in the future (maybe 2-4 years from now).

I do plan to get another quote hopefully over the next few days. But just want some advice on this one?
