Badalada Rewards Tote

Redeemed some rewards for the Badalada tote, here are some pics. I love it. It has a chemical smell but I’m planning to hang it to air out before I use it. It’s 16.5” wide, 13.5” tall, and 6” deep. Handle drop is 10”.

I decided to try SoldeJaneiro and fell in love with Refresco Pariaso. No I have learned the scent is limited time only. Anyone out there know of a scent that would be comparable within the Sol De Janeiro line. Preferably one that has shower gel, etc?

Is this bottle authentic

sorry if this is real annoying but can someone with a keen eye confirm if this is legit. I collect expensive fragrances but it still pisses me off to get ripped off, even on cheaper stuff and Sephora sells this for 44 US dollars in my country so wanted to get one second hand. It is selling for 18$ and is supposedly purchased from a duty free shop. What do you all say?

$20 for a $22 “free gift”?

I went a little crazy around Black Friday last year and ended up with a stupid amount of points that so far, I haven’t been able to justify using largely due to a mix of already having backups of the couple of products I know I love, SDJ discontinuing most mini products for sale (that would make trying new ones more appealing), and SDJ having the worst system for points redemption I’ve ever encountered.

I feel like when I do get around to replacing my products it makes sense to do so through authorized retailers that have more frequent sales, better points systems, and better shipping options.

Anyway, I still poke around the website sometimes in case something changes on their end or mine.

And I came across the strangest thing I’ve seen from them so far. At least in my area there are several good options for getting rid of old clothes that don’t involve them sitting in a landfill forever. So I don’t understand why I’d pay SDJ to do it for me.

All of that said, at this point I acknowledge I’m biased against them. So maybe I’m reading incorrectly and missing something. How did you interpret this?

Dupe recommendations for the body firmeza oil?

I tried the sttes version from TikTok shop which is great and only cost me like $15 the first time I bought it, but now it’s listed for $80. It’s barely more oil than the SDJ version and I can’t afford to drop $52 and especially not $80 every couple months when I run out

Dupes for the hair oil?

I’ve been using the sol hair oil for about a year now and I’ve only ever used one bottle since I have short hair. I JUST started running out so I went to the store to get a new bottle and it is discontinued 😭😭
I’ve never had a hair oil work so well before, are there any hair oils that are similar in feel? I’m not so concerned about the scent as I am about how soft it makes my hair

Is this cheeky biquini authentic?

I made a post a few days ago about buying this scent on Vinted, it just arrived, but I thought the lid looks way lighter than when I found it in Sephora, however people here told me that it's way too early for them to produce fakes, and NGL the smell is the same.

Is it normal that the lid is this light? Maybe it's a wood thing (?) And also, the lid closes weirdly, it's not as smooth as the classic ones, is it normal?

I don’t know if they announced this anywhere, guys, but 39 is now available (for me) (USA) in the 240 ml size on their website and at sephora !

I didn’t really hear anything from them on this, so I wanted to tell anybody who didn’t know. I sure didn’t and I follow them on Instagram and everything. A sneaky move from them for sure.

I’m so excited she’s probably no longer a limited edition scent. I already bought three minis because I thought they would get rid of her. Probably gonna use them to refill my big size! My favorite! 🩵

Edit: 50 mins after I made this post, I saw on instagram that they are making this permanent, guess i’m a detective 🕵️

Reviews of the 91/Rosa Charmosa lotion?

I recently tested this at Sephora and absolutely fell in love with it, however since $50 for a lotion is diabolical I'm still contemplating whether or not to bite the bullet and purchase it and in the meantime I'd love to hear some reviews about it -

As in, how long does it last and does it actually do anything for the skin? Since tested it on my palm in the store and as a result it wore off pretty quickly. Also, I live in a very hot area so I'm worried that the weather combined with the heavy fragrance will result in irritated skin.

Also, how is the spray version of 91? Bcs none of my local stores have it yet and I tend to stay away from the mists in general bcs a mini version of the 71 I was gifted a year back was oddly alcoholic and maceration didn't fix it.

Someone please explain this

About a month ago, I was in a perfume store and decided to smell all sol de janeiro sprays because I had been wanting one for years so why not.

All of them smelled like straight up chemicals. 40 specificaly smelled like only chemicals, not in a "chemical version of a scent" way.

Was there something wrong with the testers? The only 2 sprays that didn't smell like chemicals were the limited edition lemonade one and 71, though 71 was on the verge of also smelling like chemicals. I ended up getting the lemonade one. But even around a month later I'm still confused.

So my question is, was something wrong with the testers? Because if not, I can't imagine anyone liking these scents.
