What does the "uncanny valley" effect sound like to you? (I couldn't find a subreddit to post this in, so I hope it follows the rules)
It’s likely hard to picture, much like imagining what a color or a taste sounds like, but are there any songs or sounds that trigger the "uncanny valley" effect for you, or at least evoke a sense of discomfort?
I want to make a song with an ethereal yet eerie vibe, one that feels like the presence of a beautiful eldritch angel, or something that looks like human, but feels wrong. The only thing I can picture is weirdcore/dreamcore songs, but I don't think that fits...

... one of my kids has an assignment to relate songs to the theme of how getting through grief makes you stronger. Can anyone recommend some?
