Do you count the whole festival as 1 concert for your total, or does each day count as 1?
Personally, it counts as 1, where it's 1 day or 4 days. But I totally get each day being counted as 1 a piece.

I’ve done like 276 of these, but what I wanna do now is track which band gets the most predictions of the top 2 stages
I’m seeing the same 3 names for Cathedral headliners being tossed around and they seem like absolute locks at this point based on how DWP books. So I wanna see how many of us think alike
So I want everyone’s best prediction for all 4 headliners for Temple and Cathedral stage
Here’s mine
Temple
- Limp Bizkit
- Deftones
- Green Day
- Foo Fighters
Cathedral
- A Day To Remember
- Gojira
- Papa Roach
- The Offspring
Please feel free to add in your stages 3-5 headliner predictions if you guys want and I’ll track any of those too. I will report results back 🫡
I’m hoping for many answers by the time a joint is in my hand after work!😁
Saw this near the entry of the Polaris Costco in Columbus. About $100 cheaper than buying online.
Hi everyone! I live in Ohio and have never been to sonic temple but I want to go next year, I checked ticket prices this morning and general admission passes are 555 dollars which is very out of price range especially for a festival because I cant afford something that expensive💔 is GA worth the price? will ticket prices go down when its near may? or will they just keep going up?
I did the presale for field passes for the first time. Just today I noticed there are also stadium+field passes. Did anyone just have field last year but tried to use the bleachers? Any issues? What is with this extra cash grab? 🤣
Hello. I’m wondering if buying onsite parking would be worth it purely for the travel time. 2026’s I managed to park on a residential street five minutes from the festival, and there wasn’t much traffic. I’m wondering if, since parking is always sold out, would there be more traffic trying to park on the grounds or would I be better off going with my spot I found this year?
4 DAY GA FIELD keeps saying unavailable for me it’s only been 3 minutes, I keep refreshing too
I'm on the wait list to get a premium campsite this year. Can anybody give me any information. As far as dumping the tanks how is the electrical setup. Any information from past campers would be much appreciated.
I see so many posts about who we want to see play, but realistically who is the most likely to headline and or preform in general?
I know Slipknot is a common one, but they’re on a break and supposedly recording new music so I highly doubt we will see them next year. Anyone who headlined this year won’t be a repeat for 2027. I think big names like SOAD and Metallica are unlikely especially since Metallica double headlined 2025. Korn maaaybe. A7X I think is reasonable. Beartooth, Knocked Loose, Motionless in White I could see headline or co-headline. I definitely see Lorna Shore being brought back as well as Sublime. I think Spiritbox would be a good one but not to headline. And I think a lot of people want Sleep Token but I just don’t see them headlining anyways.
This is my prediction as of now for 2027. Would probably change some bands and move things around but what I came up with for now. I’m impressed by the chat gpt poster 😆
Is VIP worth the extra $$? We’ve been a few times before as field/stadium.
So I placed an order this afternoon for (2) 4 day GA Field passes and didn't notice that weekend parking was already for sale down below that option. So I just checked out and and processed the order with the Field passes only. I just realized parking is also for sale today so I went back to the website to purchase parking as a seperate order...but when I select it, it wants me to also add passes to the festival...which I have already purchased. How do I get around this and just place an order for parking only now?
I wanna hear 2 things from everyone
- Deftones
- Limp Bizkit
- Green Day (changed from A7X)
- Foo Fighters
- Limp Bizkit
- System Of A Down
- Slayer
- Slipknot
Yes I’m a big Nu Metal fan lol
When I’m bored I try to make some educated guesses at the next years lineup. DWP has quite a few bands that cycle through their festivals so I looked at the lineups going back to Sonic 2019 to see who we haven’t had play yet. There’s definitely quite a few one off performances so I’m trying to focus on bands that have done multiple festivals since 2019. Sonic has had a few one offs too like System of a Down, Ghost, The Misfits, etc.
Thoughts for headliners:
Guns & Roses have played all the other big 3 since 2019. I think we have the highest chance of seeing them in 2027. (Also no Ohio date on their 2026 tour)
Green Day or Blink 182, GD have done Rockville and Louder. I think there’s a good chance for 2027. Blink182 could end up at Rockville 2027. Blink have only done Aftershock before though(2x since 2019).
Slayer, did LTL and Aftershock 2024/2025. They are doing Rocklahoma and Sick New World this year. Possible we see them at both Rockville and Sonic 2027, possibly not as the top headliner since initial hype has faded some.
Iron Maiden, long shot that really depends on their tour schedule. May not be touring the states in spring.
Nine Inch Nails, big tour for 2025/2026 is done. They have done Rockville and Louder.
Motley Crue did their 2024 dwp fest run, think we dodged them.
We’ll probably get a mix of new and old headliners. I’m expecting the likes of A7X, Deftones, Limp Bizkit or Disturbed to be in the mix.
Direct Support/Cathedral bands:
Five Finger Death Punch, did Ink last year, Rockville this year. Louder and Aftershock in 2024. I’m thinking they are a lock for 2027.
Incubus, has done 5 other festivals. We had our show cancelled. Could be rescheduled for 2027.
A Perfect Circle, new music. Touring 2026 in Europe. Did Louder and Aftershock in 2025. Good odds.
Alice In Chains, rescheduled from 2025.
The Offspring, rescheduled from 2026 possibly. Theyve repeated done all the others. If not 2027, then 2028.
Turnstile. Have done all the others. I think they are a lock too.
$uicide Boy$, possible. Did Louder 2024, Aftershock this year.
The prodigy, reschedule from 2019, doing both Aftershock and Louder 2026.
Other high profile acts that have been doing the other festivals but not yet Sonic:
Highly Suspect, Mammoth, Spiritbox, The Hu, Bilmuri, The Warning (I believe they were on for 2023 but dropped), Suicide Silence, Down, Babymetal, and Skillet.
There’s a bunch of 90s/2000s rock and numetal bands that have good odds too like Bowling for Soup, Spineshank, etc.
Just some thoughts for discussion if anyone wants to join in.
Anyone have a presale code for Thursday’s drop? Would greatly appreciate it!
Saw this on the site. 4 outdoor stages? Hopefully they don't scrap Altar.
