Just got my MK1 at the FFL and color me impressed. It is awesome looking this gray anodized finish is like a turquoise grey. It’s fit and finish matches my HK MR556 A4. Very tight upper and lower. So now I’m going to decide how to outfit it. I have a Surefire turbo mini with switch and pressure pad to throw on. I also have a T2 with Lrp mount but I’m wondering if an eotech/magnifier would be better. I’d also maybe put an Aimpoint magnifier with the T2 if I stuck with it . I’m going to get the huxwrx 556k for this soon. I don’t use NODS so I’m not going to waste money on a laser. Thinking of the B5 forend too. I just form 1’d it so I’m going to SBR this. Can’t wait to shoot this next week.

I pre paid $3K with my LGS and was told it would be 90 day wait. Then it was 120 and now I’m on day 177 of a 160 day wait. The gun store acts like I’m a fool for inquiring. Sons isn’t much help.

Any excitement for this rifle has long since passed. My friend group definitely isn’t lining up to pre pay an 6 months for a MK1.

How long would you guys wait before doing a charge back on a MK1 14.5?

Anyone ever cancel an order with SOLGW? I ask because I placed an order about two weeks ago for the MK1 with a discount. I realize it’s taking some around 5 months to get these. I see them available at Rooftop and I can get them the same price right now.
