As mentioned I’m wanting to buy a lense that I can get a really good Milky Way Timelapse and also astrophotography.
Ideally I’d be on a bit of a budget.

I was looking at the Sony FE 20mm F1.8 lens but is quite expensive.

Does anyone have any recommendations or advice for any lenses and just general feedback?

Hi there. I am getting back into videography and a friend of mine offered to sell me their old Sony A7 III very cheap. The only catch is they haven't updated any of the software since they bought it in 2018 and the only lens they have has a scratch. Any advice on whether updating the software now would cause issues and on which lenses I could rent/buy to try out would be much appreciated. Thanks

I just bought my first Sony A7 iv, super excited. I’m coming from canon dslr so this mirrorless cameras feel nice. Anybody have some advice or tricks for the A7?

Need some help, don't have the best vision so I'm looking to mount my foldeable phone as a monitor to my a7 iii(specifically Samsung z fold 5). Would appreciate any help with what would be my best options to do so, I have the monitor+ app already just need help with mounting options as far as what monitor mount, holder for phone and what cage would work best. Also I will be using the godox x3 pro on the hot shoe. Again any help would be appreciated

Someone stole my camera bag with my a7iii I just got 3 months ago and worked so hard for… I had everything in there, all my gear, including my MacBook I got a few months back too.
I’m just a student that loves video and I’m lost for words now… it’s the worst feeling. It’s like someone took a part of me.
Just to say please be extra extra careful with everything and everywhere you bring your (I thought I was, but it clearly wasn’t enough), we live in a crazy world. I wouldn’t wish this feeling to my worst enemy.
And if anyone’s selling a camera or something, let me know please, I had so much plans this summer I don’t want to give up on.
