Was sick of using magic arm, even good one. I just wanted a good monitor hinge like what we had on camcorder.

The bright tangerine universal monitor hinge is excellent, but the fx6 mount is on the handle and leaves the monitor too far on the left.

With this, you can put the monitor anywhere you want thanks to both the 15mm rod mount and the NATO rail, this is a 7cm one but imagine you want to put the monitor far from you for a shoulder mount ? Just put a 20cm NATO rail and you got it.

I've never found this solution on youtube despite being what I was looking for so I'm sharing it with you.

Budget options to complement FX6 and FX3 for podcast shoots?

Do you have recommendations of cheaper options that could serve as two additional angles for a studio podcast shoot using two FX6 and one FX3 and look good enough in the final grade?

Current setup shooting in 4K:
FX6 (PZ 28-135 G OSS): tight shot for person A
FX6 (PZ 28-135 G OSS): tight shot for person B
FX3 (24-50 G / 2.8): two shot showing person A + person B, but cropped in post to show one or the other for two additional camera angles (we publish the final in 1080).

The issue: When cropping into the FX3 2-shot to serve as an “extra angle”, the eye AF sometimes tracks the person cropped out of the frame and focus gets obviously soft on the speaker. It also really confuses AI editing workflows to have a single camera operating as three, and I’d like to add a couple of extra true angles without spending FX6 or FX3 money.

Are there cheaper options that could serve as extra angles without being jarring different for a podcast? We are currently not recording in SLOG3. Thanks for any advice you have.

Should I purchase the FX6 or wait?

Hello all, I’m looking to purchase the FX6. With the release of the FX5, it’s got me thinking that there may be a FX6 release in the near future. Should I wait for a new system? What are you all thinking?
