The TRUE scale of sfs's earth (normal difficulty)

The TRUE scale of sfs's earth (normal difficulty)

The normal difficulty of sfs scales earth down 20 times, this is normal difficulty earth compared to the Philippines. I made this using google earth, ibis paint x, and sfs itself.

Please make a robotic arm. It should fit inside the fairing. It's supposed to be non dlc. Then make it BP edit

Please in comments give the bp link NON DLC BP EDIT

this is my pb for fastest no-glitch no-cheats speed, any tips to go faster?

First is the rocket at launch, second is the maximum speed. I used a Jupiter gravity assist to get on a highly elliptical solar orbit, then slowed down at aphelion to dive extremely near the Sun. Then, I burned the rest of my fuel on approach to perihelion, achieving nearly 137 km/s of speed. However I think I can do better. Is there a more effective method to go faster? Does diving into the Sun create a higher maximum speed before burning up?

Rockets I have made in SFS

My two recent SFS builds - need feedback! 0/10

1st is Space Shuttle

2nd is SLS Block 1 with Orion
Really happy with the fairing work for Orion and the LAS. I got LAS from Yt with a bit of modifications by me because idk how to bp edit. I do know but I am lazy

SHIP V3 FLAPS WORK

The flaps are simply black solar arrays; the rear ones consist of two solar arrays, as do the front ones—with one acting as a fully extended flap and the other closing as much as possible.

this was supposed to be a Venus return rocket but barely can get to Venus, any tips? (Realistic mode)

So I kept adding boosters to try and increase the ∆v but this can only get into a medium Earth orbit before running out of fuel unless I start using the fuel that's supposed to be for the Earth return

I’ve started working on this game when the first delay of KSP 2 was announced

Hi!
Four years ago KSP2 got delayed and I was mad because I just could not wait to get to play with colonies. I then ended up working on my own 2D rocket game that would focus on colonies while still having rocket control like in KSP.

The development of this game was not always easy but I’m glad that there is now a full game loop despite not yet having research nodes or a career mode. Just because there is in-situ resource utilization you’re able to set goals for yourself to build and launch a rocket from Mars. Since there is quite a lot of parts including docking ports there are ton of ways to plan your missions. There are also multiple buildings for colonies such as resource transformer and miners. You also need to ensure you have crew at your colony with sufficient food and water.

I’m super proud of all these systems that I managed to integrate together and I hope it’s something that interests you.

The game is called Rocket Engineer and is launching in early access on August 28th on Steam. I’m doing a post here because I know many of you are interested by these games and I plan to work on it for at least the 10 next years, hence, building a community would motivate me quite a lot.

Mods, can you please ban this guy?

I understand if this post gets deleted, but can this guy be banned, he's filling the subreddit with low quality slop, and using copilot to generate his titles, descriptions and comments. Also, he is blatantly stealing bps and ragebaiting e.g. saying oh, I took a month to build the simplest starship ever, I'm the greatest sfs player of all time. Once again, I understand if this post gets removed, but I didn't know where to contact the mods and whether they were aware of the issue. If you are a mod reading this, thanks for taking your time to read it and if he's already banned, sorry for wasting your time reading this but thanks for banning him.

One Million procedurally generated star systems around Sagittarius A* (SFSiHTML).

EDIT: AFTER OPTIMIZATION I WAS ABLE TO SMOOTHLY RUN OVER 5000 STARS INGAME and with low FPS 50K - IT MAY BE POSSIBLE TO DO THIS INGAME WITH A BETTER PC

Want to know some stats: No? Well. I am telling you anyway. You don't get a say.
This is a render that took half a minute, the stats in the bottom corner are not real i doctored the image don't actually expect to run this unless you have a threadripper

One million procedurally generated star systems all with 5-10 planets and each planet with 1-4 moons. Planets was softcapped. Record planet count in a system was 16.

Average nearest-neighbor distance: ~7,645 AU (0.12 light-years ish)

Median: ~7,180 AU

Closest pair anywhere: ~18 AU apart (closer than Neptune is to our Sun), it was two 5 planet systems with minimal planet distances.

Sparsest pair: ~46,500 AU apart. Two very large systems, two 14 planet systems with a wildly eccentric last planet pushed them away

For context: Proxima Centauri is ~4.2 ly from the Sun. So on average, procedural neighbors are packed ~35x tighter than our nearest real star.

Forced-purple stars: 16.02% empirical vs 16% designed. I purposely made more of them generate bright purple than anything else for NO particular reason.

The other 84% roll random color as usual no bias
