Valencia, My Favorite City in Spain

Valencia is Spain's 3rd largest city and in recent years it has become a popular travel destination (and a popular place to move to as well).

I've been coming to this city for nearly 20 years and have seen it change... If you ever wanted to visit, don't wait too long as it's slowly losing some of its authentic charm... For now though, still definitely worth it!

The pictures show the City of Arts and Sciences buildings inside the beautiful Turia park (a must-visit) and 2 of the main squares in the historic city center; the Plaza de la Virgen and the Plaza del Ayuntamiento. There are 3 nice rooftop bars on the Plaza del Ayuntamiento if you want a good view from above.

Tip: visit Valencia in Spring or Autumn for the best weather, or in March if you want to experience the very unique Fallas festival.
It gets VERY hot in summer and many shops close in August so I'd recommend avoiding August.

Caminito del Rey

Once one of the most dangerous walkways in the world. But now a very fun and safe walk with beautiful views!
