Hi all,

I purchased lifetime plus yesterday on the website. I then clicked on my lifetime pass > entered email and a password at which point it says it’s ready to be shared. Then on my onn google tv box, I enter the same credentials but it always says wrong email or password. I’ve tried with vpn, without vpn, rebooting, uninstalling and reinstalling app. I did find a post made in the past saying to try a very simple password so tried that as well to no avail. Anyone know what I might be doing wrong ? Thanks

It’s been 104 days since the dev posted and released the last update for Sparkle.

Could we possibly have it that when we click record on something an option window comes up automatically letting us choose for how long to record to tell the recording that's in progress exactly in how much time to stop?

Alternately, if we do have to set up the recording manually can we at least have it trigger a listing of the groups and channels so we can just select the right one rather than having to type in and search for it? This is really inconvenient with a Formuler controller.

The problem is that with sports you can't just record now and let it record the "program" because it doesn't work that way with live events. Sports never ever run to a predetermined program slot on the EPG. It's always different. So you're always going to either overshoot or, more likely, not record enough.

So you are forced to make a manual recording into the future. But the whole process is so cumbersome and you want to start recording as quickly as possible, but the act of searching takes longer than the time you want to start at if anything goes wrong in the process. Also the UI makes it very easy to cancel accidentally. And then you have to start all over because you've now passed the time you wanted to record at. This could all be prevented with a record now that just lets you change the recording duration as in mytvonline3.

When I type a channel number (let's say 1000), the category doesn't get automatically selected on the channel list or EPG. It just stays 'All Channels' all the time.

Maybe I am missing something?

Has anyone run into this issue? I have Sparkle on 3 TV's. But only my main TV requires me to run setup to get my channels back every day. Like, NOTHING is available. No channels, no shows, or movies. Running the setup everyday restores everything like normal, but this seems like an issue? Is it possibly just a bug with the last update? I don't want to uninstall/reinstall because I don't want to re-do my channel lineups and everything. But if that's the only option, then I guess I will.

Not even sure if this is possible. I would like to request a feature that adds a visual badge or "New" indicator to a series thumbnail within the Favorites menu whenever a new episode becomes available. Because many shows return from long or irregular hiatuses, it is currently easy to miss new episode drops. Having a subtle visual flag on favorited series would greatly help users track returning content without needing to manually check each show.

I like the menu the recording options that popup when theres no epg. Is there a way to get that same menu to popup when there is an epg? Im trying to record something easily for 3 hours without having to select many things in the epg.

I've used many different apps over the years to record streams but sparkle just works.

What does sparkle do that other apps don't?

I just signed up to Sparkle. Love the free player but wanted more options so paid for a full permanent subscription. But when I share my account it is not recognised. It just wants to sell me another subscription. Support seems to be non-existent but I emailed the only address I could find. Still waiting for a response. Does anyone know anything more about this? Especially, how can I get in touch with a support person?

I want to add the text "&next_days=3" to the end of my epg url but I'm unable, as when I click the edit button for the xmltv epg it is greyed out on the next page.

This text is to increase the amount of days for the epg to get downloaded. I'm able to add it to the epg url in Tivimate but not with Sparkle.

Is it possible? Anyone got a solution? Thanks

Hi, new to the player and loving it so far. I have had one issue where my stream will cut back to ~3 seconds prior and then jump back to live after replaying the part I already saw, leaving a few second gap of content I didnt see and the general annoyance of a choppy ecperience. Is this a settings thing, issue with my iptv provider, or something else? Never had this issue on the previous player I was using (PerfectPlayer). Like I said I'm pretty new to all this so any guidance would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

I have Sparkle Premium on 3 devices and use the Backup feature to synchronize across all three.

One of my playlists originates from an online m3u generator that does not add in channel numbers, so Sparkle generates its own.

I am currently going through a process of manually changing each channel number to my own preference within Sparkle on my TV, but as there are hundreds of channels in the playlist this is very time consuming.

Is it possible to edit the Sparkle backup file on a PC?

I have tried using a text editor and a web browser, but without success. What format is the backup file in - it doesn't appear to be XML?

I use Linux as my main desktop OS, but have access to Windows, (if I must!).

login & pw fails, to get me to the shared plus account on any known devices.. the Google purchase invoice does not give me the Sparkle ID. not able to use dashboard hopefully to shuffle how many device are attached. ideas?

It would be nice to have a quick refresh button directly in categories related to events.

For example, the app could detect words such as "Event" / "Events" in English, "Evento" / "Eventos" in Spanish, and the equivalent terms in other supported languages.

The button could then appear automatically in those categories and allow users to quickly refresh both the event list and the EPG, without having to go into the settings and refresh everything.

Just a simple 🔄 button inside the category, easy to access. This would be especially useful for live events, where the list and EPG can change frequently.

When you press the info button it displays time ok, but can you get it display the time also? Thanks

On sparkle TV when watching catch-up for example and you are on the current channel , is it possible to have a 'live' button to jump straight back to live stream? Thanks
