anyone know whats meant to go in here? I tried various m5 screws before realizing there aren’t any threads in the hole it just a smooth plastic shaft that terminates in a metal plug. Could I use some slightly bigger self tappers in there? Thanks for your ideas or suggestions.
Here's my summed response & impedance response using Peerless N164WR3308 Woofer 8 ohm and GRS Tweeter 1TD2 - 8 ohm to build studio speakers for my 533sft apartment, dsigned for best sound to play jazz records. I haven't yet inputted my baffle design parameters and is the first time I am attempting speaker design - any watchouts / extra checks would be great before I work on speaker design and order components.
I recently bought these jbl c48 Madison speakers from an estate sale and one contained an L8 and the other one had an L10 in the box. The foam on the speakers doesn’t look too bad but I’m concerned about the cracks on the hard plastic. Is this something that can be replaced?
