I’ve been thinking about adding another suppressor to my collection over the past week or so, and I’m torn between the Alleycat 5.56 and the 5CM. It’ll primarily live on a 10.3” build. I haven’t heard much firsthand about the 5CM beyond what I’ve been able to find online, so I’d really like to hear your thoughts and any experience you have with either one. Or should I just wait for their new cans to come out?
I know the dirty Dave ti has a 16 inch min barrel length but I really want to run it on a 13 inch 308 ar10. Do you think if I don’t let it get too hot I will be ok? For the price I can get a dirty Dave ti right now I’m thinking of taking the chance on it. Has anyone got experience on running a can on less than the minimum barrel restriction.
The BEN seems to be the only one available but I've read where it's not quite as impressive as the SR in terms of sound suppression. Am I stuck with the BEN?
Hello, I have an ODB Hub can on the way and I'm trying to make sure that I'm connecting it in the most sensible way.
I've got a Zastava Zpap m70 and I was planning mounting an AI NANO M14 X 1 LH on it.
I was planning on connecting it to the can with a CAT /TFS X 4140
So M14 x 1 LH (AK barrel) -> 16 x 1 LH (spooky) -> 1.375 x 24 (Hub)
I will of course check the concentricity after installing these.
I've got a couple other spooky muzzles that may eventually use this can (300 blk), so i'll get additional use out of that spooky to hub adapter.
Does all this sound correct? Is the AI nano the best muzzle device for this?

I cannot get my CAT MOB end cap to align like it shows in the manual (second image). Does it matter? I am taking it out shooting for the first time tomorrow and I want to make sure I am doing everything properly.
I recently bought an ODB 718 suppressor to mount on my Arsenal SAM7K with 24x1.5 RH threads. I want to connect it successfully and avoid a baffle strike. I'm aware that AKs aren’t thread-concentric and might not be the best platform for attaching a suppressor. Still, I'm determined to make it work. Any advice or recommendations on mounting options?
I purchased a 24x1.5 to 5/8x24 adapter along with a Cat Spooky2 A2 7.62 muzzle brake, but I’m also considering doing a direct thread mount, maybe using the JMACS 360HD X37 HUB Mount to skip the adapter and Spooky2 muzzle brake, which might help with alignment and concentricity. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all. I recently cleaned my CAT AC762 after about 2000 rounds in a 24 hour soak of breakthrough. I wasn’t too impressed with the results.
The can weighed 630 grams new, and I could only get it down to 654 grams after the soak.
My KK has about 2000 rounds through it now and I would like to try cleaning again. I have CAT 206 as well to try.
What methods have you all used to remove the most junk from your cat cans? I’ve never used ultrasonic cleaners but tempted by the $90 amazon version if anyone has good luck with those and breakthrough etc.

Recently soaked my cat ac 7.62 in break thru cleaner. Breakthrough instructions state it an option is to shoot super sonic rounds after draining liquid to remove excess fouling and liquid. I drained my AC762, and then shot about 20 .300blk supers through it.
Since then, I have read that it is advised to dry the suppressor completely to avoid rapid expansion and pressure spikes of the liquid from shooting. I am worried I weakened the can and its complex geometry by shooting it right after draining. A few decent clouds of nasty came out the front. Can anyone talk me off the ledge?
