Jordyn Woods Glow Up

I haven’t kept up with Jordyn in years and I was absolutely jaw to the floor when I saw videos of her at her wedding!
What do you think she’s had done? She literally looks like a Barbie I’m obsessed

I spent $40k on self-improvement and beauty, here are my thoughts

What I’ve done over the years and my thoughts: Overall, I would say I’ve been very conservative with my treatments and choices, and I don’t have many regrets. My philosophy is that I’m not looking for the best deal. I know there are better prices out there, but I’m willing to pay more for quality and peace of mind.

10/10 recommend:

  • Braces, I did it twice (didn't wear my retainer the first time round), ~$8k combined.
  • Also teeth related: I spent a lot money on teeth: GTR, impacted wisdom tooth extraction, SRP (several times lol), ~$2k
  • Health/Fitness: Pilates classes (~$2k), ballet classes (~$1k), sailing classes(~$500), dance classes (~$500), personal training (~$1k), golf (~$1k) total $6k. I find ballet is especially helpful for posture.
  • Dermatology treatments for acne, I suffered from acne since I was a teenager and have been to the dermatologist's office so many times, I tried different topical creams, birth control, antibiotics, and Accutane. My skin finally cleared a few years ago and now people compliment me for my skin, estimate overall cost ~$3k
  • Counselling over the years, probably spend around $3k easily, likely more

9/10 recommend:

  • Personal style evolution, I experimented with different hairstyles, highlights, coloring, jewellery, clothing style over the years, ~$3k
  • I also got a CurrentBody LED face mask, I haven't seen a result in anti-aging, but my skin glows afterwards. ~$500.

7/10 recommend:

  • Anti-aging treatment(started last year):
    • baby botox for crows feet and forehead: ~$1k so far (same story, I know I am overpaying, I am paying around $30/unit, but I am fine paying a little more for expertise.)
    • Sofwave for skin tightening $1.7k, personally I am not seeing much of a difference, but my friend who hasn't seen me in a few months noticed a difference. So I will probably keep getting this every 18 month.
  • upper blepharoplasty: $2k, got it done in Asia, they did a very good job, but sometimes I miss my original eye shapes, I think they are more youthful looking.
  • different consultations for breast augmentation: ~$1k in total. I went around and consulted multiple surgeons, and ultimately decided against it. I don't regret the consultations, at least now I have the peace of mind.

3/10 recommend:

  • Skin related: I got microneeding done a few times, didn't see much of a difference. ~$1.5k, 3/10 recommend.

No rating yet:

SMILE treatment, I look better without glasses plus I am tired of contacts, surgery is in two weeks, ~$6.3k. (I know this is not the best price out there, but I am fine paying a little extra for peace of mind)

Overall I would say I probably started at a 4/5, now am a solid 6, if I am wearing the right clothes and makeup, could be a 7.

What to do with post-weight loss skin laxity in your 20s !

So im 26F . Lost 45 kgs ( 100 lbs ) naturally 10 years ago .
At my biggest , my weight was heavily distributed around my face . I had huge cheeks , non-existent jawline etc . When I lost the weight it took me less than a year of diet and exercise. So by the end of it i had alot of hairloss and my face was very yellow and I had an obvious double chin . Keep in mind i was 15 . I was so insecure about it .

At age 24 , it had mildly improved . But I finally decided to do something about it , so i did ulthera .
It got a little better but still not as shapely as I wanted .

So 18 months later , I got HIFU .

After doing these procedures , my face improved by maybe 30% .
I then read about how repetitive RF melts down your fat pad and could result in you looking worse over time .

Now im thinking about going 2 ways :

1/ Get chin lipo + renuvion to just aggressively get rid of the issue all at once

2/ Start getting softwave+ emface every 2 years

I also have about 10 more kg so I could reach my goal weight . So that might also change my jawline situation.

So anyone have a similar issue ? What did you do ? And what do you think is wiser ?
