Falling in love with Lucifer on the Sofa

When it first came out I was like "oh new Spoon record, cool..." but since they've been touring and I've been diving into them again, I'm spending more time with it. It really speaks to the moment and has a strong emotional arc that I think puts it among their best. You really *feel* it, yknow?

The Smog tune sets the tone, Hardest Cut is just so clever, and then Mr. Jones is like this dark song about the dystopian vibe we're living through, with the rest of the album being about like coping with that, or with the last track, maybe failing to. It speaks to me.

Summerfest show for a 9-year-old?

Advice needed Spoonheads! So I am debating taking my 9-year-old daughter to her very first Spoon show Friday night in Milwaukee. I'm of course a die hard, and she's inherited some Spoon love from her dad and would be really excited to go. But I'm questioning whether a late night GA crowd at Summerfest is a good environment for her. Anyone with experiences or thoughts? Thank you!

Looking for poster!

Hi! So me and my bf went to the Columbus show last night, and we were too enthralled to go get a poster from the merch booth, and then they were all sold out 😭

I know it’s a long shot, but anyone have any leads for a poster or maybe have an extra they’d be willing to sell? My bf is a long time fan and it would be such a good surprise if I snagged one.
