Stacatto HD4.5 and Jager werks BRO?

Does anyone know if the Jagerwerks BRO is compatible with the Stacatto HD 4.5 optic plates? If so, can you share pics of your setup? Also, which length of screws did you use?

I purchased an SRO and just want a little peace of mind.

Thank you for your time and feedback.

First timer, looking for advice/recs on a CS

Hey yall!
Deep in the CCW/firearm world, first timer in the staccato world. I've shot a c2 before and have always wanted a staccato since then.
So, I am looking at purchasing a CS. Wanting to know what a good deal is/ what i should offer. It's a 2023 CS, less than 500 rd thru it, comes with an RMR type 2 mounted, 3 total 16rd mags, tenicor AIWB holster, tier 1 AIWB holster. Comes w/ all original documents, private seller asking $2300.
Assuming that's a decent deal (appears to be) what are some things i should look for when physically inspecting it? Any things to note? How's the price? Thanks! Appreciate the help (:

Staccato CS issue dropping the mag

I sent a brand new Staccato CS to Vulcan for some work, including their grip. Took it to the range today for the first time, and while trying to zero it kept dropping the magazine. I thought maybe I could be riding the mag release with my grip, but firing one-handed saw the same behavior. Before I ship it back to Vulcan, does anyone have an idea what it could be that I might be able to fix?

Not real happy as they took almost 5 months to finish the work the first time.

DIY front sight install

Context

Had a non optic ready staccato xl that I sent to Vulcan machine werx to get milled for an optic, along with some other stuff I listed in a prior post. Vulcan I believe by default installed a blacked out the front sight when they smack out the old fiber optic sight to adjust the new one for the now lower optic footprint that they direct milled onto the slide. Although they did a good job, I kinda missed the old fiber optic one, so I started DIYing it. Called Vulcan, they gave me the size they used which was .250 tall and .115 wide, didn’t see that option on dawson’s site, ordered the next closest thing which was .250 tall and .110 wide.

The first attempt:

Definitely did not follow any instructions and beat the ever living hell out of it to smithereens, and it still didn’t go all the at through, and I fucked up 2 aluminum punches in the process. Swapped to a carbon steel punch thinking like a caveman, figuring i could just hit harder and force it the last bit it needed to go. Pretty much created a new smushed anger on the side and decided I needed to start over.

2nd attempt

Called Dawson, asked for advice to see where I was going wrong. Of course I didn’t expect them to replace what I fucked up, and I hung my head in shame and ordered a replacement, this time at .250 tall and .090 wide. Double checked with them to see if that was fine, they said it definitely was, and basically would make very little difference. Turns out it was no better than the first, but this time around I was prepared. I used a file and shaved off some side material, following how Vulcan shaved the original blacked out sight they sent. I used a fat triangular file, don’t recommend that btw, use a flat one, probably way easier and that’s what dawsons video demonstrates. Kept shaving until it started going in a bit. It’s smoothly, until it went in almost as smooth as the Vulcan one. Hammered it the rest of the way in, albeit I could definitely have shaved it a bit more but figured this was right enough to not need loctite. Oiled it up to prevent rust, brushed it with nylon, some of the blueing is gone but fuck it, made the thing line up as good as I could get it.

Gonna provide the original Vulcan version, followed by the 1st then second attempt photos

Reassembly Assistance

I just got my Staccato HD P4 and am running through disassembly and reassembly to familiarize myself even more with it. As I have watched videos, I can't find anything that covers my issue so I'm coming to ask here. First off, sometimes the slide won't go on all the way without me going back and forth a few times. I've tried pressing the spring up with my thumb, but the point it gets to I can't reach the spring anymore. Secondly, once I did get the slide all the way and the slide stop back in place, the slide is sitting just out of battery (in the picture) so it's not functioning. Sorry if these are dumb, never owned a 2011 at all before so this is new territory.

Staccato HD

What soft case comes with the Staccato HD? Is it that one they had a year ago the fancy one you can buy separately? I think it was called the Staccato soft gun case. 🤔

Dawson Precision plate sheared off around both of the screws. Nub broke off in the top of the slide.

Staccato C optic screw insanity, help

Sucks when you get all excited to get in parts and install and then can’t for such a stupid issue.

Trying to install an Osight SE onto my 2024 Staccato C and not a single size of the shit ton of screws I have will fit. Just not long enough.

Anyone know off hand the exact size? I’m thinking #6 1/2” (12.7mm)?

This little kit they give you with the sight has .44”/11.4mm which just isn’t long enough. And of course you can’t just go locally to get screws because that’s too easy and nobody carries shit

First Staccato

Finally joined the club. Picked it up last week but didn't get to shoot due to bad weather. Hoping to take it out this weekend.
Wanted the HD since they were announced. The gun next to it is a OA Defense 2311. The HD feels better in the hand, betting it will shoot better too.

Ignis porting vs Master Genghis Comp and possible grip change

I have a Staccato P that I don't shoot very much anymore, but also can't bring myself to sell. Thinking about sending it for either Ignis porting from Vulcan or for the the MGK from Monsoon.

Also thinking of possible adding either the Vulcan grip vs the Icarus vs Perfect Zero grip with an upgraded trigger while doing the porting.

What is everyone's experience with the Ignis vs MGK and the grips?
TIA

Joined the Staccato club

Decided to joined the gang and got a HD P4. The gun has been an absolute dream. Loved it so much, I considered getting a HD P4.5, but was told it would’ve been too similar, and the XC would be the bigger leap forward. Ended up getting the XC as well.

Planning on putting an X300 on it as well. Still debating if I want another SRO or if I should get an RMR HD (I understand the RMR HD would be more practical on the HD P4 if I were I get one). Might also keep the XC all black

Will Staccato eventually adjust the price?

Hey everyone!

I’m looking to buy my first 2011. I really wanted to get the C4X but from everything Iv read about pricing has shown that it’s pretty over priced from the general consensus.

My other option was getting the P4.5 and I know this will shoot great but it’s alittle bigger for a daily carry.

Iv even considered the Kimber 2k11 pro comp too but I feel so close to the staccato that I’d hate to spend this much and not get what I really wanted.

So my question is…will Staccato take in the feedback they’ve received from the majority of the influencers/community to adjust the price of the C4X or will they not budge and stay firm on pricing?

Thanks for any feedback!
