How much should I price my XC for?

How much should I price my XC for?

Debating selling my XC on GunBroker, but I don’t know what to put it up for. The other ones on there are priced all over the place. It has 4 mags, a Trijicon SRO that isn’t currently mounted, and a SureFire X300.
I’ve taken it to a few local places around Oklahoma and have been insanely lowballed.

Infinity HD Trigger Upgrade - Is it drop safe?

Has anyone tested the HD line with Infinity trigger upgrade to determine if it's drop safe?

This thing….

Hands down the best of the bunch in my possession. And I have a few Staccatos….P, CS, C2 and this thing is the cream of the crop. I also have an OA 2311, a Prodigy, and both my sons own 2k11s (one with a comp) and this P4x easily rises to the top. Sorry for the bad pic, my youngest is at Navy MA A-school and wanted a quick pic.

Price check?

Wondering what everyone thinks my C v3 is worth these days.

Staccato C v3, full size grip, DLC threaded barrel, flat trigger, CHS EPS optic plate (and factory cover), 6 17 round mags, and the original soft case. Excellent condition, maybe 250 rounds through it. Plan on keeping it, but I got into it for a lot cheaper than I think I should have. Looking for an estimate without optic or flashlight.

1 month and 1500+ rds later, she’s definitely my endgame 2011. Comfy to carry, blast to shoot, and looks so damn good

Staccato HD p4.5

Hi im new to guns and had my eye on the staccato hd p4.5z i had a question if someone could help me out.

I heard the Staccato Hd p4.5 uses 6 o clock hold with the iron sights. Is it possible to have it changed to combat hold? If anyone has done so? I just dont like the idea of 6 o clock hold

Speed loader and flush base plate recommendations for Staccato C?

Looking for two things and hoping the collective wisdom here can help.

  • Speed loader: I have a Speed Beez and honestly don't love it. Anyone have a speed loader they actually like for the Staccato C mags? Open to anything as long as it's not the Speed Beez.
  • Base plates: The stock base plates on my 10/15 and 10/17 round mags stick out more than I'd like. Anyone running something lower profile or closer to flush? Not looking for extended, just the opposite. Want them to sit cleaner for better concealment.

Appreciate any recs.

Thanks,

J.

Fully American-Made

Switched from the Steiner MPS to the Trijicon RCR, because the RMR HD sold me on their button layout. She’s fully American-made now. Also, if ModLite ever makes a proper compact light, the transition will be complete.

HD P4 - optic screws

I recently got this CA compliant HD P4. My previous problem was failure to feed/failure to extract.

I now shot about 3k rounds through it. Shot the absolute shit out of it in the last few days. No more issues.

I just came back from the range and during my last string of fire, I decided to shoot a bill drill. In the middle of firing my optic and optic plate flung back and hit me in the face. I made sure I torqued them to spec. I’m guessing it’s the low quality screws.

Does anyone know where I can get high quality screws ?

Does anyone know how to remove the stuck screws?

Thanks !

Bitting the bullet and purchasing a HD P4.5

So I’ve been on the fence with purchasing a P 4.5 since it came out. I own four other Staccato legacy 2011. The P, XC, C & C2. Can anyone give me any insight of the pros and cons of the P 4.5. You read so many posts of people on reddit with people having issues with it.

Staccato CS

Hey everyone, I wanted to get some opinions and see what everyone’s experience has been with the different grip sizes.

I originally picked up the CS with the subcompact 15 round grip specifically for CCW. I really like the smaller grip because it keeps the overall package compact and makes concealment easier, which was obviously the main purpose.

I ended up getting another CS because I really wanted the DLC finish and X-serrations, but this one came with the compact 17 round grip. After handling both, I’ve noticed that I actually prefer the comfort and feel of the longer grip. It gives me a better overall purchase and just feels more natural in my hand.

For some additional context, I also have a C with the 17 round compact grip, so I do already have experience with that grip size and know that I like how it feels and shoots. My debate is really more about whether I want that same grip length on a gun that I specifically intend to use primarily for CCW.

My plan is to swap the grips around so I can keep the DLC/X-serration configuration I wanted, but now I’m debating whether to stick with the 15 round subcompact grip or go with the 17 round compact grip for the final CCW setup.

For those who have carried both, how noticeable is the difference in everyday concealment? Are the extra two rounds and slightly longer grip worth it for the added comfort, or does that little bit of extra grip length make a noticeable difference when it comes to printing and concealment?

I know we’re only talking about two additional rounds and a relatively small difference in overall size, but with CCW, sometimes those small differences matter more than they seem on paper.

Lastly, only reason I am comparing the two is because I do have the C so it makes me think and want to choose the CS with the shorter grip since I ask myself why get a CS with a longer grip if I might as well use my C at that point since they would essentially be the same size.

I definitely prefer the subcompact for pure concealability, but I prefer the compact grip for comfort. If you had both options available, which would you choose for everyday CCW and why?

Appreciate any input, especially from anyone who has carried both setups regularly!
