Contemplated the C4X but ended up scoring a CS instead. Everything pictured totaled under $3,400

Staccato P vs HD P4 - threaded barrel

Hi all - planning to pick up my first staccato. Will be used as bedside gun and for plinking / some amateur competing eventually. I will be buying threaded barrel (aftermarket if HD P4) for either and using a SAW Shiv suppressor.

Has anyone shot both and recommend one over the other? Coming from striker fired so trigger will be much better whether it’s series 70 or 80.

Wonder if anyone tried Tenicor Certum Lux4 with Olight PL-X yet ? does it kinda fit but not secure or does it actually click into space and secure? Some said with bigger spacer would fit but i don't want it to be loose and just sitting in there, thanks for your help.

Anyone send their cs out to get ported?

Love my cs. I shoot it well! Would like it to shoot a bit flatter but I really have no complaints. I’m thinking of sending it to dsc to get v ports or inline. Anyone have experience with a ported cs? Would a different spring be required? I only shoot 124gr out of it. Thanks. Here’s a pic of mine (with the slide seration cuts and rmrcc) and my wife’s cs. Thanks!

Carry gun…

I used to own a c2, but felt it was too big for iwb. I carry a 365 or cc9 iwb. I also own a XC, XL, and P, but not for iwb of course.

I had my mind set to pick up a C, although I don’t like the thought of a new magazine that has limited use. I’ve cut 10lbs (from 170 to 160) should I try a c2 again for magazine compatibility, or try the C? I like the hd series, I shot one when they first came out, and I do have Glock mags (g17, g19, jp5-PCC), but they are thicker, which concerns me.

Thanks for any thoughts.

Is there a difference in these optic mounting plates?

I am going to buy a STACCATO 2011 HD C3.6 next weekend and I am going to put a Holosun 507c on it. On Staccato's website they have a listing for their HOST mount being the same as a a huge variety of different staccato models, while on Scheel's website (where I'll be purchasing the pistol from) they have one in stock at the store I'm going too but it says "P4" on the listing. Is that the same one as their website or will it only work for the P4 models staccatos. [This is my first 2011 and my first time adding an optic on a pistol that requires a mounting plate so don't go too hard on me]

New staccato HD infinity trigger

I was skeptical about this trigger at first. I kept wondering, how much better could it really be than the HD trigger?
After installing it, I can honestly say it’s better than every Series 70 stock Staccato trigger I’ve tried—and I already thought those were really good.
This trigger has an incredibly solid, crisp wall before the break, making it feel very predictable and clean. The website lists it at 2.5 lbs, which had me worried it would be too light for my preference. In reality, it feels closer to 3–3.5 lbs, which is absolutely perfect for me.
Zero complaints. This trigger exceeded my expectations.

Trade C2 for c3.6???

I have a staccato c2. This is currently my only 2011. I lean towards carry size guns (3-4 inch barrels). I have a chance to swap my c2 for a c3.6 straight up.
My c2 is DLC. The hd 3.6 is a stainless barrel (non-dlc option).
Will I regret this swap? I like the ideal of g19 mag compatibility, but I’ve never had issues with my 4 staccato c2 mags either.
Thoughts? Feedback? Experience?

Looks like P4X incoming on 7/4 confirmed

I bought a 3.6HD with the intentions to EDC it and it’s just not happening… my micro compacts have spoiled me and I got a VP9CC. I really like the 3.6HD though and I want to own a Staccato.

I just know the premium model of this is going to start in the high 4’s or low 5’s… 😭

My wife picked up her first 2011

And to match me she got a cs! She loves shooting mine and my p and Xc. So now (besides the optics since she’s a holosun girl) we will have the same platform carry gun. I’m a trijicon guy myself. Anyone else’s wife carry a staccato?

C2 with X300 Turbo holster recommendations

Title says it all. My buddy has been stumped on finding a currently produced holster that can accommodate a C2 with a Surefire x300. I thought he didn’t do any research at first but I see his point. Most are multi-compatible. Who makes the best one for this setup? Ideally dedicated.

C4X slide on P4 steel frame review

I intentionally bought the C4X simply to put on my P4 frame.

After ~500 rounds running the stock C4X configuration before making the swap (wanted a piece of mind of somewhat breaking in the gun)

C4X alone is a great gun. Money aside.

But the C4X on the the P4 steel frame, then throw a little light on the rail and **chefs kiss**

It is exactly what you expect and a little more. This fucker is nice to shoot. I’ve shot atlas’s, all the major 2011 competitors sub $3k, almost every staccato besides an XL (don’t care for it), this my friends is one hell of a gun.

Very soft, return to 0 is shorter and faster than stock. It’s noticeable even for someone new to shooting guns. (Buddy was with me)

It’s faster than a P4.5 because the slide reciprocates a lot faster. Probably just as pleasant of a shooting experience.

To sum it up, your average shooter might notice the difference from going from an aluminum to a steel frame on the C4X. But the ones who actually go out and shoot a lot, this will be a night and day difference. If you are a good competent shooter, this is the configuration you need.

P4 slide on C4X aluminum frame. It’s actually not exactly what you’d expect. I wouldn’t say it’s snappy like a stock P4 but it reciprocates in a wavy motion. It’s obviously less snappy and softer than the C3.6. But it’s a different experience from all of the rest of the HD line.

I personally think it shoots better than the 24 C on a full or compact sized grip. This is a good carry option.

If you have a P4 and you’re contemplating on getting a C4X. Do it then swap the slides. Worth every penny. It will justify even buying your P4 because I know you guys second guess either buying a 4.5 or bought the 4.5 and shelved the P4.

TLDR: C4X slide on steel P4 frame full size grip. Worth every penny. Justifies the P4, justifies the C4X. You get two completely different guns out of the two. A nice carry gun, and a wicked fast 4 inch 2011.

Help! Angled Grip Bushing Install on Staccato XC

I should’ve installed it one side at a time to keep this from happening. Made the mistake of taking both sides out and now my lower isn’t flush for me to install the new angled grip bushings. Could someone please give me a step by step on how to put it all together? Thank you and God bless.

Fixed: I just let the hammer down and the tension was gone. Thank you everyone I hope you all have a blessed week ahead.

Consolidated - C4X

Sold my HD P4.5 and C3.6 to consolidate into one "do-it-all" Staccato.

P4X Reportedly $5,500…

Not gonna bash Staccato until I actually see it for myself but if they really do charge $5,500 for the new P4X then I’m done with the brand. $3,500 for the C4X was already a joke. $1K increase for literally no reason. If they charge $5,500 then the only reason would be literally that they see other ridiculous brands doing it too.
