I've tried 'nightly release.' Not working. Stacher for me is currently unusable because every attempt to download a video returns a 403 error.

All I tried doing recently was download tutorials for the game engine Godot from youtube in case something happens and I wouldn't be able to access them on youtube again. I decided I wanted to do this after the original video recommending the other tutorials was taken down. It got re-uploaded, but still. These videos are completely accessible for free in any case.

What did I do wrong :(

EDIT: Switching to nightly builds fixed it for me, enable pro mode in advanced settings then new options should appear. Select nightly builds and you should be good.

I have not been able to get stacher to work in a while and I am not sure what to do. Please keep in mind I am not a programmer and am using Windows 11. I have tried running with admin privileges as well with no success. I have tried reinstalling yt-dpl & ffmpeg over & over but still everything fails... Thanks for any help in advance

This is by far the worst app I have ever downloaded on Windows.. I hate it....I hate it so much. Not one time has this app ever worked. It either keeps asking you to update to the latest version, update yt-dlp or FFmpeg, use your browser cookies, or just comes up with some other bullshit excuse to refuse to download the video. Apps like YTDLnis and Pipe on the other hand, work like a charm but they are Android exclusive. Seriously don't waste your time with this closed source crap.

Hello, I would like to call for help as, all of a sudden, Stacher is now downloading the videos in 360p when I select "Best quality in mp4" (the format I have always used so far) or any other formats like "Best with video and audio combined" or "Highest quality". The log does not mention any error.

QUick Question on what yt-dlp build is used (nightly)?

I'm really at my wits' end. I want to download a video one more time.

I've already cleared the “bereits-geladen.txt” file, closed the program, and restarted it, but I'm still getting the message that the video has already been downloaded!

Why is that?
