Idk if i should deposit more or not now

Guys its literally confirmed that monthly will be tomorrow with this new promo. What you think?

Hey everyone!

Id just like to preface this by saying, I know. I should’ve known better. For whatever reason I got caught up in the positivity good vibes stuff, and fooled myself for a second that this was a good idea.

I’m from Canada, so I usually have bet in local currency on slots for the last 4 years or so. I don’t deposit much, maybe a couple hundred every month or so, I just enjoy playing rather than getting too worked up trying to win.

Anyway, I recently started loading up the chat while playing, and for a while it seemed like a pretty nice social thing to have up. I noticed that we have the ability to tip others, but only in crypto, so I figured what the heck, and sent some Coinbase crypto over to Stake. I mentioned in chat if I won anything on the small amount I deposited that I’d try my best to pay it forward to people who genuinely look like they’re making a positive impact on chat.

Even if it wasn’t real, it kinda worked for that night. Chat was upbeat, positive, and (for the most part) friendly. A nice change of pace from the few days prior I read chat while playing. A few people even said what the heck’s going on, why’s chat not nearly as toxic tonight? lol.

I ended up winning a little bit on the crypto, so I kept my promise, and sent maybe 9 or 10 people in the chat a little tip because it seemed like they were being positive. A lot of people were saying how they’d pay it forward too and help others etc, I thought it was a nice change of pace.

But yeah let’s just say that didn’t last. It became clear that people were just saying whatever they could to suck whatever amounts of money they could out of ignorant people like myself. A gang of three of em were on me at one point, lol.

Anyway, it’s unfortunate that people are the way they are, it seems like overall the user base of Stake are a very negative and toxic folk. Out of the dozens of extra people who also said they’d pay it forward to me if they won too, I’ve never received a single tip. I wasn’t really expecting to get a bunch, but I don’t think pay it forward works in this community, lol.

Long story short, I’ll be leaving chat closed from now on. It was a nice thought, but I should’ve known better.

If anybody knows of a Stake community that is actually positive, friendly, and not manipulative, I’d be glad to join and pay it forward when I can. I just can’t do it again on that chat, people started getting even aggressive when I didn’t continue to keep tipping, not so fun. I just wanted to try to be nice and social and help out if I had any luck.

I’m sure people will maybe attack and say I didn’t tip so I attached my history for that evening.

Oh, and if you’re wondering about the bigger tip at the bottom, I tried streaming once to maybe make my own community, and told a person if I won big later I’d send them something, lol. It happened so long after the stream ended I doubt they even remembered why, they added me to Discord but I never heard from them again. I guess I’m not so good at making communities myself.

Edit: I even got a couple beggars already in my inbox who didn’t even bother pretending to be nice or strike a conversation, come on guys. The irony of that is too much, lol. That’s the exact thing I am saying isn’t cool. Don’t be that person. Besides, I’m out of money anyway for a week or so until I deposit more, I stick to my limits and don’t deposit more than I set out to. Sorry, but this is for fun not a source of income.
