I am utterly shocked at how poorly thought out this boss is, this is in my opinion Hoyo's stupidest decision yet. For context this is my E2S1 Evanescia team that's using my Hyacine. I have attempted this already with HuoHuo but was constantly getting killed by the phase 2 nuke so I tried to solve it with my Hyacine since she's got the max hp buff and healing on hit (i generally wasn't getting outright killed by the first attack but the 2nd and 3rd usually would). I was willing to take the lower score to just get the blue dice and be done with this run of aa but alas here I am.

I genuinely can't wrap my head around the fact that this was green lit to go live. I can understand bosses shilling certain paths as Hoyo has to give players a reason to pull more characters and make them more money, I am all fine with that. This is another level of shilling though, the elation shield alone is over the top but punishing players this hard for not owning one single character is insane. Not to mention they actively recognized that DHPT was most likely going to be decent for the boss because of his high shield stacking allowing him to tank the nuke (and i'm not even sure that would do the trick I bet people would still be getting one shot), so they decide to make shields useless this aa. Not once did I think going into this that my E2S1 elation dps would be struggling to beat the boss with the elation shield (not even going for 3 star either), yet with no pearl this boss is unbeatable for me.

I bet theirs likely a skill gap and something about her kit that I don't understand that's causing me to die this much, but even then I shouldn't be struggling this hard. The only excuse this boss has at the moment is that its locked in aa for now so its not preventing players from getting jades or anything. But imagine this boss found its way into any of the other endgame game modes, I highly doubt Hoyo can do that and not see a significant downscale in player count due to this bosses outrageously high requirements.

I also generally don't like to be the guy that just points at statistics and starts freaking out, but the fact that in Prydwen's calculations only 16 characters were able to get an average score is insane. And even with up to E2 characters like Archer and Rin are unable to get an average.

Ive played HSR from the start and I love this game to death and it sucks to see the game take such a terrible turn for the worse. Personally I wont be quitting yet with Aha coming out but I am using pure hopes and prayers that this game will return to even 10% of its former glory to cope, cause right now the game is a shell of what it used to be. Even the Rem shilling from 3.X wasn't this bad, as there was generally still options for people who wanted to clear without them, but we are far past those days. Every boss often requires one specific team archetype and if you don't have that you generally are going to struggle unless you spend or have a highly vertically invested team you can just use to brute force the boss. Yabuli is just Hoyo taking this to the furthest extreme yet and if this is what the game wants to be from now on I don't think there's going to be any more motivation for me to play this game.

No matter what I try its either Yabuli does the single target one shot on my squishiest character FOR SOME FUCKIN REASON. Or I get nuked by the AoE. Or this scenario happens while I try to avoid the permanent HP drops on my DPS characters.

This might be my first AA where I dont beat the King, I hate this game.

e2 Pearl is genuinely game changer for Elation. Ik APOC is not perfect but 0 cycle in AA / MOC is a first time feat for me
