Hi All,

I’m just wondering if anyone stay at this hotel before, and how’s the neighborhood around the hotel like ?

Last week, I realized that I had accidentally ordered a youth large t-shirt rather than an adult large during the ticket/merchandise frenzy. I reached out to ReedPop to see if they could just switch that item and was told no, they can only change the size but not the item.

A youth XL would still be useless to me so I pushed back a bit. I felt that was just ridiculous given the merchandise isn’t even close to being sent out yet.

They responded that they could simply refund that item and I could try again to buy the correct item when merchandise sales reopen this summer.

I asked for details and they said they’re still being worked out but just wanted everyone to know that if they missed out during the ticket sales because of the whole “add to cart” thing, there is supposed to be another sale this summer.

Hey everyone! First celebration and first time in LA. I planned on staying at the Hilton Garden Inn Pasadena/Arcadia because it was only $450 total for 4 nights. We’re only going to Celebration for two days, then going to Disney and just exploring LA the other days. I’m not familiar with the area and was wondering if that was a good place to stay.

Got the confirmation email from Reedpop when I bought the tickets. It says confirmation and order summary on the email, and I see the charge online.

Do I need to do anything else like make an account or activate anything, or should I just wait for the tickets to arrive in the mail in March? It says view and manage your order at the bottom of the email but it won’t let me make an account.

I wonder if will see the same vendors at both events artist alley.

hello everyone! i’m not a star wars fan but my boyfriend is crazy about star wars! obviously as per the thread post, i just learned about the star wars convention and wanted to ask in advance are there generally sites that open up later where there are official resale of the tickets? and if not, how would i prepare for the following year? i’ve been to conventions before however they were always niche and there was never a queue or needing to fight for tickets haha…i would really love to get my hand on two tickets one day for the both of us just to see him enjoy it :)

I’m currently in the process of growing my hair out so I can do a couple Lando Calrissian outfits. But I also am gonna do a medieval Jedi outfit. It’d be awesome if I knew someone that would be willing to do a samurai Darth Vader to go against my Jedi medieval night.

random update: i had messaged Reedpop/Leap with a complaint just venting some. They gave some standard answers as to what the issues were on their end but nothing we have not heard. They did state that they have internal security software that helped flag some bot accounts but nothing to what the speculation was,

the person did state that they have pulled some tickets back from people who were bots or scalpers and those were then passed onto legitimate customers they then said that I could add my name to a internal 'wait list' for people, whom if they pull more tickets they will pass onto them.

I have no idea if this is true or not and they were clear to state that it does not guarantee tickets, but I am now on some mystery wait list.

just in case perhaps email reedpop and see if you can get on this list if you have the energy.

If it says it's 18 minutes from the center (I know traffic etc) but it's really close (less than 5 miles) from the A line, should I be fine *fine as in traffic won't be too bad/ how long should I account for it or to ride the metro- sounds like it should be a safe area, I just wanted to be sure of my surroundings. I live in a worse city than LA if you compare on the whole * to stay if it's a good area and like easily catch said metro to get to the celebration? Just trying to double check myself. Never been to LA and want to plan plenty for the travel time/ metro use or uber etc

Would anyone be interested in a Discord for teen Star Wars fans and cosplayers (ages 13–20)? Thinking it could be a place to share builds, get feedback, and organize meetups at the convention. Drop a comment if you’d be into it and I’ll get it started!

Looking into staying there for Celebration, and I know it was offered as part of the Hotel block. I know that it’s historic with all the pros and cons that come with staying in a 100+ year old hotel, but has anyone had any first hand experiences staying there? Would it be worth it for Celebration?
