As the title says. Game isn't opening through steam.
I can activate it through the steam files, but through steam itself, nothing.
I verified the game files five times. I did a clean install four times. I even got rid of all mods from here to Tokyo. Nothing.
I'm about crash out.
Edit: I have tried all given solutions so far, multiple times, yet none work. The game does launch if I hit the .EXE file in the steam files. So I resolved it in the old way of adding the .EXE of FoC as a non-steam game.
Edit 2: Fixed it.
Oh God they gotta Bellator an some other super star destroyer idk + a compliment of many many venators an star destroyer variants, anyone dealt with this yet? How does one fight this without their PC killing itself

Hi, sorry to bother you, but is there a mod where I can play as the First Order?
So I’ve been a long time player of both EAW and FOC and in the past few days have been wanting to play again, long story short I had to reinstall it on my pc and the cd key isn’t working (I’m a caveman and still prefer hard copies) I have windows 7 so Steam is out. Anyone have any suggestions other than upgrading my windows version (I don’t like 10 and refuse to touch 11 at all)?

Myself and a friend are playing base game multiplayer and wanted to try a small campaign. when we load in to the campaign we are both hit with a connection interupted message, saying the other player has not connected, and then needs us to quit the game, which doesnt involve us going back to main menu, but gives us a black screen and we need to close the game and reopen.
are there any fixes for this issue? or is there a mod that can fix the crashing for multiplayer campaign?

If I wanted to set up a Republic (clone wars) vs Galactic empire with maybe some other factions in the mix what is the best mod to go with? I've seen remake 4.0 clone wars hold outs looked decent. Id like opinions. But Republic victory empire is my main goal.
I haven't played since the days of the "all encompassing" yodenmod era, im looking to get back in. What i liked about the yodenmod mods was no unit limits, larger maps, included all eras things like that. But the last time I played and used mods was over 5 years ago.
