Warms my heart to see these type of mods still being made for this game in 2026
Brings me right back to '06 when these types of mods were all there was lmao.

I don't play the mod often and don't know where I can build SSD's and need those locations for my upcoming playthrough
I haven’t really played the submod much yet at all, but want to start a playthrough as the most difficult minor warlord I can. I know in base TR the Prophets of the Dark Side are probably the most difficult warlord to play as, but how does that stand up in regards to the submod? Which of the minor warlords would best/is the most difficult one to play as, at least in the beginning?
Was just invading a planet in the South-East of the Galaxy (as Eriadu) when i saw these Lander? Modified Lander? Spaceship and thought they were cool and i am now wondering if they can be used by the player or not ?
Btw, does someone know what name do they have ?
Thank in advance for my stupidity.
Have Voon Massa upgraded to Lucrehulk battlecarrier. Dropping in with the Duros Danger Donut is some combination of three ISD1s, two MC90s, five Bothan cruisers, and then some screens/support/escort carriers.
Rn dropping him in offensively with the ISDs and MC90s, but it feels a bit top heavy if that makes sense?
I'm playing a lot of Thrawn’s Revenge lately, and I noticed that I’m not able to pick the Empire of the Hand as a faction anymore, even though there was one game where I played against the bot, which randomly picked the Empire of the Hand. Does anybody know more about this?
What really is difficult is that I can't see shit, compared to Thrawn's Revenge where the whole map is visible.
Any advise on how to play AOTCW?
They get the SSDs Vengeance and Mandator 3.
They allow aliens to serve in their ranks.
Their leader is Ardus Kaine, a skilled orator and successor to Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin.
In short, you will enjoy playing as the Pentastar Alignment, Alhamdulillah.
With the recent news. Me killing Yularen in the skies above Kinyen made me feel worse than usual lol.
I’ve tried a handful of fleet compositions for AotR on expert, and feel like I’ve hit on my favorite so far. Buddy let me tell ya, DP20 wolfpacks paired with Braha’tok gunships is like Hell’s Hornets for the Imperials.
In my first few Rebellion playthroughs, I was way too.. respectful to the Imperials, like I was trying to save some planets for a special occasion, and all that did was get me curb-stomped by multiple SSDs and Bellators. My current strategic philosophy is: “cause as much trouble as possible for everyone everywhere, all the time.”
To that end, let me tell you about this setup:
DP20s
The only real downside is they can get swarmed by fighters, or shot down by enemy missiles. And that’s why we bring the Braha’tok
Braha’tok gunships
10 Braha’tok and 5 DP20s is the baseline for me— adding more just helps shorten the battles. I’ve pitted them against both Imperial and Black Sun fleets alike.
Perhaps the most important part is this: I’m able to destroy whole fleets instead of letting them get away. Jumping in a small gunship heavy fleet makes the computer think it can win. Then the starfighters are gone, then the capital ship engines, and then.. they can’t leave.
These fleets also work well to ambush an invading fleet— often, I’ll have them as part of a larger fleet that jumps in early, but you don’t get that benefit on defense. So if you know you’re going to get attacked somewhere, just position this fleet with a dockyard, then slug it out.
Happy hunting, commanders!
Anybody got any Zsinj getting-started tips?
I'm on my third attempt. The first two attempts, I am immediately pincered by the Corporate Sector and Pentastar Alignment. On my third attempt, I bought literally nothing and moved every single ship and troop to Dathomir and saved up for a Sorannan-class micro-dreadnought. I've finally been able to stave them off. I currently have about 8 planets, but not enough income to build up any kind of defensive fleet or offensive power. I am literally just ping-ponging back and forth between Generis and Yavin 4 as the Pentastar and Corporate Sector take turns taking back one planet at a time.
Edit: Several good tips and techniques for me to try out here. Thank you all for your quick responses!
IDK but ive been crashing each time I have launched the game, and I really want to play the game again, but every time there is a compatibility error not allowing me to start the base game even!
\"So be it...traitor\". Bro is so salty.
Playing as Grunger's Empire on known galaxy large; refused DE because otherwise the game gets too easy, and I'm not a fan of the Eclipse and Sovereign (Sovereign looks cooler to me but both ships are not that great to me). I started with 1 planet and managed to build myself up through various missions and just grinding it out, and I managed to integrate Zsinj and Maldrood (even PA not long after taking this screenshot), as well as wiping out the CSA and Hapans. I've also been responsible for the deaths of many different faction leaders (both Teradocs since Kosh retreated to the Mid Rim, as well as Thrawn, Zsinj, Kaine, and whoever leads Hapans/CSA).
Unfortunately I never had a chance to defeat Palpatine; he SOMEHOW died not too long after returning from the grave.
Thrawn's Revenge, no other loaded mods: I have tried several times to do a Hapes run. And contrary to the other posts on playing this faction, have actually enjoyed myself!
But I get to a certain point of expansion (10ish planets) and the option to build ships and shipyards/stations just goes away. Not like I've hit a pop cap—but like there are NO options in those build menus. Eventually, the game just crashes.
Haven't found anything from Corey on a bug, so just wondering if anyone else has experienced this?
Hello everyone,
I am currently doing a playthrough of Remake 4.0 with the Clone Wars era Holdouts and French Fried Taters submod, playing as the Criminal Underworld.
I am thinking about when I should escalate the war / go to tech level 2. The problem is that whenever I face an existing level 2 space station, I tend to loose a few units in the battle, especially when a defensive fleet is there, and currently my economy isnt the best, so these losses are quite noticable.
So my main question is: at which tech level/war escalation will the level 2 space station be unlocked for construction for the AI? Is it tech level/war escalation 2, or only at tech 3?
Normally I just build one or two of them as novelty pieces, preferring Home Ones until Mediators come online. Giving them more of a shot this time. How would you build a fleet around Bulwarks?
So one thing I would like to see in the mod is AU events on the CIS side. If you are playing as them, once Palpatine declares order 66 the CIS leadership should be killed and the droids given the shutdown order right? Playing as them presents a problem because they were always meant to lose. It would be cool if there were some text boxes and/or story missions that showed Dooku rebelling and making the CIS his own faction rather than a puppet of Sidious.
