This game definitely have some great looking locations
Here are my screenshots I've captured while playing. AFAIK there are no spoilers, these are just screenshots of locations.
This game is pretty pretty!
Picked up the gold edition on sale a few days ago and am enjoying it a lot! Entered this area and just had to stop for a minute and try the photo mode for the first time.
Why do i prefer playing on the Switch 2?
I initially bought SW Outlaws for the switch 2 because digital foundry got me curious to see how the devs had pulled off getting RT working with little compromise. And wow i was blown away by the soft red glow in mirogama!
But i was curious to see if i'd prefer the PS5 pro's quality mode at 40 or 60 fps, and though i was scared i'd ruin the Switch experience, I upgraded PS plus premium just to download the game on PS5, and boy it does look gorgeous, and hair, LOD, texture quality, foliage etc is just objectively much better.
I have all the expensive toys - a PS5 pro and and LG oled C1 55 inch TV, and an ipad pro m4 with the lovely tandem oled which i use with a Razer kishi controller like how the picture shows. And my ps5 is wired to LAN, my router is a bomb eero max 7 so when i stream using the PXplay app i get HDR, 1080 upscaled to 4k at 60fps. Its a thing of beauty to hold a 4k HDR Star Wars Outlaws in your hand on that lovely oled of the iPad.
YET YET YET i find myself preferring to play only on the switch 2 handheld at a 'meagre' 30fps and i just cannot figure it out! I first thought it was the size of the ipad+razer combo but that isn't it for me, i play yotei and indeed most of my ps5 games in bed and i have a blast! But any time i play on the PS either on the ipad/tv i just dont have as much fun. Wtf is this intangible thing about the switch?
I got the switch 2 intending to play 2-player games with my wife and our old switch 1 -> mario kart 8, little nightmares 2 etc, and that is hella fun, but why oh why do i prefer the switch 2 for a heavy AAA game like SW Outlaws?
Hostile friendlies on tatooine ever explained?
Edit: After either completing the mission in the imperial base (Fort Sunfire was it?) or turning off completely over night it's fixed itself.
I'm seeing only a few posts about being attacked by FRIENDLY (AS IN GOOD OR EXCELLENT!!!) syndicates in normal syndicate areas, but never an explanation and barely a few people understanding its not from going into restricted areas. I currently have a few missions in the Hutt cantina on Mos Eisley and have no way to do any of it.
Edit to make status clear as possible. Seriously, why is it so hard for people to understand what friendly means? XD
Edit: They started acting like the whole area was a restricted area after returning from a different section of Mos Eisley.
Anyone else got flashbacks to the Phantom Menace game ("STOP PUSHING ME")
Walking through Tatooine took me straight back to all those hours, days, years spent in the Phantom Menace game.
When the mediocre action-platformer suddenly turns into the KOTOR precursor with an open world Mos Espa, just going in bars, breaking into homes and meeting all the people.
"You better stand back mister 'cause I'm about to slash... ALLLL MY PRICES!"
A toast post to the real ones
Spoilers:
Found family is a big theme of this game. I'm content with the ending. Going back for ND-5 was great, he was more important to Kay than any "big score". The semi-repaired relationship with Riko, without being the central focus, worked for me. Kay's indifference towards her mother feels fair, something many of us have experienced. A "rescue Nix" was nice, helped to cement Kay's love for him into the story a little.
But this post isn't about all that really. I've just finished the main story, and just wanted to toast these characters and the writer's getting it right. Hell yeah.
Can I get a bit of help with a question on the ship HUD?
So I saw a video where a person had the same weapons in their ship as I do, but it had a line that moved about when they turned the ship that stretched away from the center.
I had this thing when I had different weapons equipped. But now I have the rapid fire weapons and they don’t have that targeting line that leads away from the center reticle.
How do I get this to work with the weapons I have?
Here’s the video where you can see the line moving about from the center:
Is there no way to slide into a crouch?
It’s kinda pointless if I just stand up the moment I finish sliding. Or am I doing something wrong?
I sprint, go into a slide, and when finished, I’m standing up and seen by everyone. How do I finish a slide crouched?
Well i guess that’s one way of getting out of a chase.
Best checklist?
Hi everyone,
I normally don't do this with games, but for some reason I really got into SWO :D. I'd like to collect everything possible. I found a pretty good checklist over at IGN, though I can't tell if it requires registration or not.
In any case, are there any good alternatives? Can also be offline in form of an excel file.
Many thanks in advance.
What is going on in this sabacc game?
I went to go play a round of sabacc at the tutorial table and used Nix to spy on the opponent cards. The rules say there is only 3 copies for any number per family. Yet, here is a game with four copies of the value 5. What is going on? Does anyone know?
Which is better
Long story short was on toilet had a thouth and its bothering me so heres the question

The stimpacks from star wars jedi fallen order/survivor

Star Wars Outlaws XBOX Captures
This is a collection of random screenshots I’ve captured on XBOX series X. I have about 60 hours of gameplay and I feel like I’ve barely scratched the surface! This game is gorgeous!
