Hey all, I tried Starlord when I first started playing and didn’t enjoy it very much but with his new summer skin, im back in. I main human torch, cyclops and gambit so any advice as how to play Starlord would be greatly appreciated!

Started a few weeks back and just finished after forgetting about it
I didn't think I needed to see starlord in a slutty little crop top, but I needed it more than anything 🥹 it's official, starlord gets the best free skins
Just curious on which one is more popular with starlord mains, I personally use flora munutions

So we all recently saw the drama with Storm and how they got a skin then got it upgraded to a legendary. This incident showed me something, netease will cave to that kind of behavior. That leads me to believe that if we act the same way, netease will give us a legendary too.
I know we have been waiting for a long time but this might be our solution. We need to just crash TF out, start accusing netease of racism towards non Asians as well as misandry because they would rather give attention to women they can sexualize than to male characters such as Johnny, Hulk. Mag, Wolverine, starlord, the list goes on.
I can understand the issues with some of the behavior the storm fans took part in, but I also saw how effective it was. The more I think about it, the more I think we should do the same shit they did if we want a skin.
Im a Johnny main, I know better than anyone how bad the devs neglect characters like ours. However thanks to the Storm "players" we have now seen an avenue we can take for our characters to stop being neglected
I just finished watching the fauwkz updated tier list and I immediately came here to post this, i have been saying this for a while, I was saying that he is C tier, nobody believed me, everyone said stop begging for buffs, everyone said star lord is still decent, okay here you go, this is a tier list by a pro coach and he puts star lord in c tier, I think he is still being generous since I put cyclops above star lord, but here you go, on the positive aspect we might receive a big buff in season 10, he has all the reasons to get buffs, his winrate dropped, his pickrate dropped, his ban rate is nonexistence, he was used only 1 time in ingite and it was against ultron and human torch since he counters those two, and even then he did absolutely nothing, he played into the characters he counters and did nothing, now imagine playing into the dps's that counter him
, until season 10, imma stick to playing punisher and bucky and only go star lord if I derank to gm and playing him in gm lobbies, which is really sad because I legit dont even have fun playing this game because I am not using my favorite character
star lord's only use this season is turning mantis into giga thanos because of the teamup, thats the only good thing about him, he is not even remotely good at anything else
I’m very comfortably a Star Lord main. I have him at the purple badge and he’s my furthest progressed lord.
I picked up Hood the other night since he’s getting a bit older now and I feel like there’s a TON of overlap in core mechanics. Obviously SL is flank/pseudo dive, with high mobility.
But I feel like Hood’s incredibly similar in just his core. Like rapid-fire hitscan. Hell, his passive even feels like SL’s ult.
Ig I just want to know if anyone else feels this way, like if you’re good with SL, Hood’s an easy pickup I feel like.
Hood seems really versatile too like SL. I was comfortably using him on frontline in one game and anti-dive in another.
Just doin some ranked, and got this thanks partly to their teams spidey lol
I knew he'd be so op that theyd scale him back and now I just find his gameplay loop frustrating. He has no range so you have to get close, but he dies so easily. Barrage has been nerfed for way too long. I just find other characters much better, and trying to dive with him feels too risky.
Genuinely in disbelief still.. after 1200 hours on this game I never though I’d get this high up in ranked, all that time I spent self doubting myself😭

Honestly, everything that's happened to our boy has happened from the 10 extra shots, which we didn't even ask for! We were happy with our range and our over health, we were the most balanced hero for the longest time, and now we shoot like a wet noodle. Both the nerfs and the power creep of the game just makes star lord perform way lower than other seasons...
I'm still gonna play him, cause, well, he's my main, but just take the 10 shots back and give us back our range and over health
