Hi guys, i recently bought a Steam Deck oled, so i'm still learning..
I downloaded The Amazing Spiderman PC version from Dodi repacks, run the setup and everything, added the game .exe as a non steam game. But the game won't run. When i click on play, nothing happens. Did i do anything wrong?

The download location is in Z:/home/deck/Games

I read some posts about some games needing to use a different proton like protonGE could that help me?
Update: just tried launching it with protonGE, it doesn't work.

So i have the latest Lossless Scaling installed with ASSELA (lsfg-vk branch) and i have the latest lsfg-vk plugin installed in decky. Whenever i put that launch option for lsfg-vk onto a game and i launch it, i see the steam loading screen for a few seconds and then the game crashes. Games work perfectly fine without it. Happens even with linux native games and with games on proton, they just wont launch. I couldnt find any fix so i decided to ask this question here. If anybody had the same problem, did you manage to fix it?

It loads, opens a window and stuck in black screen.
I’ve installed all dependencies and running it on latest proton ge, any advice? please

I’ve been installing games from steamrip etc by adding the .exe to Steam and had no issues whatsoever until somewhat recently. Now when I add a game it adds the official game to my library with “purchase” instead of play and am only able to play the game when I go to the non Steam tab. Did something change? Should I be doing something differently?

I tried using lutris and it installs normally and works fine, I’m just not able to use lsfg 2.0 via decky with games. The games are greyed out in the non Steam tab and it says to run via flatpak, but the game doesnt show up in the flatpak tab.

Anyone got this working?. Using proton experimental , tried every proton version even the GE, inject vc++ using protontrick , nothing works . Everytime I tried to launch the game and install that vc prompt, nothing happened , the game won't launch at all. Pc works fine but i like to play on the deck elsewhere

Really want to play this game on the deck. This is my favourite childhood game and waited for years for the remaster. Please send some help :(
