I'm new to SteamRip help. I downloaded Spider-Man 2 and I saw there's a LOT of missing files so can y'all help pls

I’ve noticed this in a handful of games I’ve downloaded. Seems odd since there is no reason to uninstall instead of just deleting the folder. Scanning the uninstall application also results in multiple detections of banned malicious things.

No matter what I did the performance is just crappy, it goes below 30, but I noticed one thing, whenever I restart my PC (I usually hibernate), and launch the game as a first thing, the performance is just so much better, like way smooth fps, initially it would be around 120 or above, after 1-2 hours of gameplay it would be above 60-80. I am not sure how to achieve this without a restart, I tried closing all other apps, killing processes that are taking resources, nothing works like when I do the system reboot. Is there any solution for this? To get this kind of performance without rebooting my PC every time?

• CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600
• Motherboard: Gigabyte B650 Gaming X AX V2
• RAM: 32GB (2×16GB) XPG LANCER RGB DDR5
• SSD: XPG GAMMIX S70 Blade 1TB (AGAMMIXS70B-1T-CS)
• GPU: Zotac NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 8GB

Is there any extra steps I need to take to play Spider-Man remastered on a Xbox ROG Ally running SteamOs? For some games I just “add non-steam game” select “game title”.exe then use proton to run it but Spider-Man and Pathogenic won’t even make it to the splash screen. Just a black screen for a second then back to steams game library. All games have been downloaded on a computer then moved to a microsd card that’s in my handheld.

When I click to play through the Bmlauncher , the game launches for a sec then crashes . I already installed directXsetup from commonedist

I have made a standalone folder called games, i excluded it so nothing would get hit by the windows defender, extracted with 7zip ran exe as admin, everything in the redistributable folder has been downloaded, when right clicking and opening as admin or not the game freezes, just stops responding immediately after trying to start.

No longer needing assistance went and got the game to work using a different site. No folder hassle necessary.

Is steamrip work on Linux same as window cuz every os requirement I saw are just window. And I want to use wallpaper engine

firefox+ublock lwk steamrip wbsite search game press the gofile or buzzheviar button(purple one) download from there extract the file downloaded woth winrar go onto the game foledr in the extarcted and find the file with (gamename).exe playyyyyy

did anyone try to install mods? did they work?

i played the game from fitgirl and even updated it the latest patch but when i installed mods the game keeps crashing

I just downloaded the repack of alan wake 2, but discord is not detecting it and not showing it in my activity, please tell me how to fix this. I tried renaming the folder but couldn't find what to rename it to

i've always downloaded steamrip's files with download managers, mostly JDownloader2, i've never had any problems until recently, instead of showing me a clear download file i get a handful of folders named stuff like "xz"/"api"/"blocked by..." etc, and this is for all links and sites, i've tried FDM but that just doesn't even recognize downloads and selects some bs .html stuff from the main page, what is going on and how can i fix it? i don't like downloading stuff from the browser because it always says connection error and i end up wasting my life waiting

I downloaded Barony from steamrip Bzzhr and scanned it with my window defender and got EOSSDK-Win64-Shipping.dll and OnlineFix64.dll marked unsafe and sever I trust Steamrip but I am a bit cautious. Is this false positive and what should I do ?

Might be a dumb question but I’m trying to play phasmophobia with my friend, do I have to do the online fix or can we just play together if it’s the same?

i just downloaded sekiro from steamrip and i have a prb i cant play the game with my controller (dualshook 4) i played gow2018 , dmc5 , ... so i know there is no prb with my controller any help !

As the title states I got The Amazing Spider-Man from steamrip, and although the exe for the game itself runs, the launcher refuses to open. I've downloaded all of the CommonRedist items in the folder first but it still didn't open. Am I missing something? I could really use some help because without the launcher I can't change any video settings.

"We were unable to parse the launcher settings file. Settings /distPlatform must be equal to one of the allowed values. Make sure you have a valid configuration and try again." This is what shows in the launcher when I open it. But the exe file still opens the game. Please help me cuz I wanna try the AGOT mod.

I tried to join my friend on the game that we both downloaded from steamrip but it fails often or he join and we start the game but still get kicked after seconds or minutes is there a solution for this?

We both tried using vpns, tried joining his lobby instead

Tried launching the game on administrator but nothing worked
