Wanted to come on here to share my first model. Any suggestions are welcome. I think I’m going to magnetize the weapons but wondering what would be some good accessories that fit the steel legion and where can I get a head for the miniature that makes him look like he’s in the steel legion.

Hello. I’m sharing the latest work I have done with my Steel Legion. Recently I have added three Sentinels to my collection and now I’m working hard (and randomly) on some additional units. Hopefully I’ll be able to finish Command Squad, Heavy Weapons Squad, Recon Squad and another Guardsmen unit before the motivation is over :D

How you like the Recon, do they fit the SL well in your opinion?

Lots still to do, but I love these models! Can’t wait to increase the ranks of the Soldiers of Armageddon!

Hello. I wanted to share my old Sentinels I bought for 10th edition, back when they rolled in threes :D I personally love the old design so much much more than the new guard.

(All old designs seem better, but that’s a side note)

Part of a command squad!

First attempt at painting the fellas, also painting faces is tuff, any advice, esp the eyes?

Just finished my first squad of Steel Legion Kasrkin using the old inquisitorial storm trooper model, with another on the way. There’s slightly more models in the current Kasrkin and Recon Squad as I’m using them whilst playing kill team and wanted the load out options.

After the next Kasrkin squad I have a couple command squads, commanders, tech priest and of course the new old bale eye model. Then it’s on to the many tanks hahah!

They’re not the greatest work but I’m delighted with getting to do one of the armies I dreamed to have as a kid!

I decided recently to start a Krieg regiment, but I didn't appreciate Marechal Dreir as a warlord. So I decided to add Yarrick thanks to it's beautiful model !

When I finally finished to assemble my model, I thought there was something.... Something off.

Next to the Lord Commissar of the command squad, Yarrick wasn't really unique. So here was my idea :

Adding an Ork Head in the hand of my warlord !!!

I made it thanks to a bloodbowl head, but I think a month model can do it too.

Your thoughts?
