Really enjoy the flare on sergeants base

I was definitely disappointed with the overcorrected nerfs without any giveback but I just love the hero of Hades hive too much to not own him and paint up with my Armageddon defense force. I'm very happy with how my faces and eyes are turning out.

First squad done, five more to go!

40 done, now just need to do the detailing!

Hi folks. I’m sharing with you my WiP Baneblade. I think I went little over the top with the main cannon Helsearch countdown but otherwise: am I cooking here? Any cool ideas to enhance my vehicle?

Do yall think the color is too dark?

Also I know it’s a very messy model but I have 60 to paint in the next couple days so I’m basically drybrushing and detailing.

Excited to start Steel Legion! Quick question—is there any tonal variation in their coats throughout the regiments? Planning on spray priming Fur Brown and then drybrushing Demigod Flames (both from army painter), but that will be a little more brown than I see in media.

Just finished the test model for my steel legion kasirkin substitutes. I’ve been using blue stuff to make casts of the chest plates on solar auxiliary infantry. I’ve taken those and cut off the front of the cadian chest removed the sculpted back packs for power packs, and later I’m going to use wire to add the gas mask hose to the power pack. This is a test model and my plan is for them to be a sniper.

Last bit of spam, back to work next week 🥲

With all the hype around Armageddon for 11th edition, it really made me want some Steel Legion troops, but I didn't feel like waiting the 2-3 years for those concept sketches to be made into models.

Wargames Atlantic's "not-Steel Legion" Raumjager kit + some TinyLegend heads gave me just what I was looking for!

WIP, wanted to hit that iconic ash wastes scheme. Primed with chaos black, then dry brushed with a mix of wraithbone and abaddon black to make a grey (don't have one lol), abaddon black on the heavy bolters and the bit of trim I have lined, then steel legion drab for the tan camouflage. Going to add some wraithbone to some steel legion drab to add some more value to the camo areas, then (not sure what it's called) do the white and red stripes thing above where i have the black panel painted in.

first time painting steel legion to see if I like them and the answer is yes, a whole lot.

I've had these guys kicking around since the last made to order run by GW. Had to get them done in the space of about 2 weeks for our upcoming campaign, so there are a few rough lines here and there, but they look good at arms length.
