Perfecting Perfection and A Snowball Upon a Snowball? || STELLARIS BUILD KNIGHTS

Greetings, Almost a month ago, a user here decided to upload their toxic knight build [u/MrHappyFeet87] So I decided to make my own

He took the path of cybernetics, I have taken the genetic path for the snowball upon a snowball

We started as a megacorp with the principles of

[ Pharma State ] [ Gospel of de mases ]

[ Fanatic egalitarians/ Egalitarian] [Spiritualist fanatics / Spiritualists ]

this for >gospel of the mases< and for >gigacorp< also to be able to give >utopian abundance< to unemployed pops

You can modify the initial pops to your liking, but it's best if you start with germination for 0.02 assembly per pop [ This will change in the future ]

Now then, the Knights' Snowball is simple: stake as many pops as possible in the habitat, But the other one will be more complicated to get

>>||THE SNOW BALL UPON THE SNOWBALL||<<

Our goal will be to acquire the Genetics Branch as quickly as possible and then go in search of the Tiyanki Matriarch, Killing it will grant us the germination improvement trait by researching its genetics, increasing it from 0.02 to 0.05 pop assembly per pop

With this, all that remains is to modify our pops and make the habitat our capital (Following the BP I left in the captures plus the geneticist's work, we would be gaining 50% more organic pop assembly)

25% for the cloning tanks trait

25% for the 5 geneticist jobs

But why do we want that? Simple, each pop generates 0.05 assembly points, every 20 pops is 1 point, every 100 is 5 points, with that 50% that becomes 1.5/7.5 Every 1000 / 50p, it goes to 75 points, a snowball that will grow and grow until the point of capture. [375 assembly points per month]

That means I'm generating 7 pops every 2 months, 14 every 4, 20 every 6, which means I generate 2 knights jobs per half year, and it won't stop there

If I generate 20 pops every 6 months, that means I generate 1 more assembly point, 2 points each year, 20 in 5 years, 5 years is nothing in Stellaris

>>|Why that Civics and why a federation? |<<

The Civics of Gigacorp and the Holy Covenant Federation + the Harmony branch will improve a planet's ascension to 70%, making our capital 78.5% more resources per job. Combined with stability, this will result in 108.5% more resourses per jobs, turning the Knights into research and unity machines

{If you're asking about the latent psionic thing, that's thanks to a leader; it wasn't in the plans}

By the year 2300, if you were quick, you'd already have 30 assembly points just in the habitat. Good luck finishing them all!

Payback origin question

An empire was destroyed and it is claiming that MSI has been defeated. This is clearly not the case as MSI is still there.

The empire that was destroyed was called the Dorbolan Mandate similar to the empire called the United Dorbolan Nation that has the broken shackles origin.

I'm wondering if this is a bug and if so is my narrative cooked?

4.0 or 4.3 console

Since we know what to expect, why wait for the release of Biogenesis to upgrade to 4.0 or 4.3? The same goes for galaxy settings; being able to choose precursors and adjust the limited command and naval capacity

Has Stellaris console improved?

Hi everyone

I tried Stellaris maybe 3-4 years ago on Series X and struggled to get into it. Perhaps the detail? But I've been after a game like Ascendancy for about 25 years !

I know updates have happened, I wondered if I should try again to get into it? Anything big changed that will ease it, or is it perhaps not for me?

Any beginner advice welcome !

Thx 🙏🏻

Still looking for players

I'm looking for a solid group of 2-3 xbox players to start a new long term multiplayer playthrough I live on the East coast and I'm usually on from 430am-630am on my work days and from 9pm-5am on some of my off days I work split shift so I'll be open for all nighters 2 or three days a week. I want to create a playthrough where we form a federation together and do the following roles

The Political Wing: this player's empire manages the federation, is the primary custodian on foreign relations and is responsible for the manipulation of the galactic community.

The economic/science wing: this player(s) will be responsible for tech rushing and sharing the tech in the federation and building a massively over side economy to feed the other wings, they be responsible for trade and research and manipulating the galactic market. Essentially the treasurer empire for the federation

The Military Wing: this player manages the defensive and offensive wars for the federation and is responsible for playing as tall as possible and gaining new territory.

Obviously each empire can have its own military economy and tech trees going but we'll treat each other as total allies and expand in conjunction distributing start to one another as needed to support the other wings. In the end the goal is totally domination

I plan on playing 1000 star

30 ais

And whatever we agree apon for fallen empires and Marauders as well as game difficulty

Custom empires encouraged

Favorite origins?

What are y'all's favorite origins to play with? Personally I love under one rule voidborn and necrophage. Those are just my top three right now I really love most of them.

Almost against my will

Every single time I pronounce the galactic imperium I stand up and shout "I AM THE FUCKING SENATE'!!!!"

Politically taking over the galaxy is my favorite way.

Is this a Joke?

The game put me right next to a Xenophobic fallen empire

They're asking me to leave, but where am I going? That's my CAPITAL!

Not able to build colossus

So I’m on an Ironman save as fanatic purifiers and pretty late game as I’m only getting repeatables now. I picked the colossus project a while ago and finished it in the situation log but accidentally backed out of the screen pop up to pick my starting weapon for it cause i was trying to close something else and it just so happened to pop up when I pressed B so it instantly closed. I have colossus shipyards as well as the devolving beam which popped up randomly, I’ve looked again and again in the ship designer and checked over and over again in the situation log to see if I’m going crazy or something. No matter what I seem to try I can’t find a way to build my colossus. The only explanation I can think of is that my save is just glitched and I can’t go back due to Ironman mode so I I think I’m just stuck manually invading and abandoning all the stupid habitats that the AI love to spam for no reason.

Right pop on the right job !

How does one keep the less smart pops from doing the job intended for the super smart pops ? The lithoids seen on picture clearly better as brain drone then the pictlings. But for some reason no matter how i assign jobs/deactivate jobs or prioritize jobs the game will always leave 4 pictlings in the brain drone jobs ! Hell the pictlings are actually assembled to do resources gathering jobs ! not specialist ! My necro lithoid get necro bonusses for specialist jobs ffs

Is it worth getting into this game on PS5 nowadays?

I bought it a long time ago and never learned it, then I've read people talking about some lag making the game unplayable on console, but you guys seem to be having fun. I want a piece too!

Astrocreator Azaryn is no Longer a Renown Leader ( PS5 )

So I just got Astrocreator Azaryn for the First Time, Which was Cool, I Used Her to Terraform a Planet for the First Time before Proceeding to Send Her to an Astral Rift as I got Her Early On and She was the Best for Exploring Them, And I got the Rockworm Rift, Which I am used to. She gets Eaten, and in Standard Procedure I tell Her to Blow Her Way Out, but in not Standard Procedure it Fails on Me for the First Time and She Vanishes. She comes back a Year Later, In a Tube, Partially Digested, and No Longer Able to Terraform Planets. I Have Turned my Best, and Currently Only Renowed Leader, Into a Vatbound. How Unfortunate.

Disconnected system

Hello everyone. Could someone explain how these guys are completely disconnected from everyone else by hyperlanes? I looked into their system and they have a bunch of inhabited planets, all Gaia worlds. Any ideas? Thanks.

A resource that cannot be harvested ?

I don't understand why, but energy doesn't seem to be harvested. I had built a swarm of Dysons to drain energy, but it seems I did something wrong ?

Stellaris: Console Edition Development Diary #86 - Cosmic Storms Mechanical Expansion

by MrFreake_PDX

Read this post on the Paradox forums! | Dev replies here!

Hello Console Edition Community!

For those of you who may have missed it, Cosmic Storms, Grand Archive and patch 3.14 “Circinus” will release on May 25th on Stellaris: Console Edition for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5!

Watch on YouTube: Cosmic Storms and Grand Archive Release Date Announcement Trailer

Watch on YouTube: Cosmic Storms Feature Highlight Video

Today we’re going to talk about the Cosmic Storms Mechanical Expansion, how storms work, the origin, civics, ascension perks and then we’ll touch briefly on the two new precursors.

How Storms Work

Storms will begin spawning randomly a few years into the game, with a cooldown between spawns and a galaxy-wide cap on how many can exist simultaneously. These limits can be set individually for the early, mid and late game. This allows you to tailor the storm spawning to your preferences, whether you want a chaotic storm-filled galaxy, or a calmer galaxy. It's worth noting that storms triggered by events, players or other mechanics will continue to spawn regardless of the slider settings.

When a storm spawns, it will choose a destination and then calculate the time it would take to reach that destination and this is how long the storm will last, naturally. Storms can encompass multiple systems at once, and have varying levels of intensity which determine how severe the aftermath effects are in the system.

There are 8 storm types, and they all can have a variety of effects on your planets and ships, as well as leaving behind special planetary features.

The weather control map shows you the projected path of the storm, and any sources of attraction or repulsion that are affecting it.

Should you choose to hunker down and weather the storm, there are a variety of buildings and ship components that can protect your planets and ships from the effects of the storms.

For those of you who might want to benefit from living off of storms, or a type of storm, with the Advanced Storm Manipulation technology you will be able to invest monthly resources into sustaining a storm.

https://preview.redd.it/chh0ydovqa1h1.png?width=1439&format=png&auto=webp&s=c0aced9e38796caf9c058ec39f1c85e1c210114c

Galactic Weather Control Ascension Perk

Galactic Weather Control is the natural conclusion to your efforts to understand and utilize space storms. After researching the Advanced Storm Manipulation technology, your science ships will gain the ability to initiate a space storm in a system.

https://preview.redd.it/6fx79qewqa1h1.png?width=1445&format=png&auto=webp&s=d7e06fc09728e444fe76ae465419b26c099885b0

After executing the order, you will get an option to create one of several types of storms, afterwards the Gather the Storm situation will fire.

https://preview.redd.it/yxncrq3xqa1h1.png?width=1760&format=png&auto=webp&s=7f6c41b0a17c986a452e3d755a8d95e929233de6

You’ll be presented with a chance to change the type of storm, once the situation bar reaches the end, a new storm will spawn in your chosen system.

Storm Chasers

Storm Chasers are the ultimate thrill seekers. Storm Chasers get increased chances to spawn storms in their territory, in addition to access to certain storm-related technologies.

Storm Chasers’ leaders also start with the Storm Rider trait, which has different effects based on the class and role of the leader with the trait. These effects of this trait are are increased when the Storm Rider leader is within a space storm.

Astrometeorology Civic

Empires with the Astrometeorology Civic start with Astrometeorology Observatories instead of Research Labs, and benefit from system-wide environmental effects in the system they’re in (such as space storms).

Planetscapers

Planetscapers have spent eons crafting a perfectly cultivated balance on their homeworld. They will receive debuffs when living on planets with blockers, but gain the research option for any clear blocker technology required to clear the blockers on a planet upon colonizing a new world.

https://preview.redd.it/i21hu622ra1h1.png?width=480&format=png&auto=webp&s=105441ba6968def2dc080e58438476ad8c13f0ba

Storm Devotion Civic

Societies with the Storm Devotion Civic has, since ancient times, been able to attract space storms through their rituals. Over the years, they have combined technological advancements with ancient rituals to further amplify this effect.

New Precursors: The adAkkaria Convention and The Inetian Traders

Cosmic Storms introduces two new precursor civilizations: The adAkkaria Convention of Benevolence and the Inetian Traders. Each precursor comes with their own archaeology sites, special projects, and relics, and their stories speak to what kinds of civilizations would meddle with phenomena as destructive as galactic-scale storms. We don't want to spoil these stories for you, so we'll let you find out about these on your own.

That’s all for this week, be sure to tune in next week where we’ll talk about the Grand Archive Story Pack!

War in heaven

War in heaven is going on and on the other side of the galaxy right now and I have a fallen empire that hasn’t awakened on my borders. Are they going to awaken soon? War in heaven started pretty early on and I’m a new player so I cannot deal with the fallen empire at my borders.
