When I tell you I fell in love with this fanfiction i'm not even kidding. It is an AU - high-school, with the Hale Family and Spark Stiles. It was written by UnknownXFuture and is still ongoing (they're on a break after publishing approximatively 400k of words).

I wasn't that interested in Spark Stiles dynamic or Magical Stiles but damn this fic convinced me otherwise xnsnrbdbbf and the lore is so so good

Guys I feel i’m coming on here with a lot of annoyance (I wrote another post about jeff gaslighting sterek fans)

Bear in mind we are watching a show about werewolves, mythical creatures and a town that somehow has so much crap going on yet nobody bats an eye.

But THE STEREK AGE GAP is weird? By the time Jeff randomly made derek like 30 with the whole kate storyline, sterek had been going on for 3 whole years. In which we had grown up with the characters for 3 years, so we were all 3 years older. SO in our minds so were the characters. HENCE nobody found it weird.

Also wouldn’t an adult in the show be more concerned if derek really was “4/5/6 years older”

Furthermore, nobody said ANYTHING on parrish and lydia, Theo and Liam? who bear in mind, if we follow the freshman and senior analogy are 15 and 18?

We are watching adults play teens, go touch grass

i’m almost 100% positive if a sterek fan saw an age gap of 16 and 25 in REAL LIFE we would immediately be concerned due to it being REAL LIFE. I know people will go “oh but tv shows may influence you to think it’s okay” ITS MAKE BELIEF

Finally, if we compare and contrast, isn’t it a bit noncy that someone like damon and stefan from tvd pry on elena (a high schooler) even though they are thousands of years old? no, cus it’s a tv show

AND STILL in season 4 we have all our little derek and stiles camera angles and longing stares.

I fear we were gaslit with sterek, i know a lot of people already feel this, but let me give my 2p on the situation.

We experienced the constant eye contact, stolen glances, seeing the camera constantly show their reactions to each other in crowded conversations.

Now, just incase this reaches the WRONG person and i get ridiculed by expressing this, I have come with KEY SCENES AND PROOF below

s3ep1 - tattoo scene, how can you tell me derek didn’t fancy the dude with the way he stared at him, and if the writers thought the fans were crazy why did they EMPHASISE HIS STARE

stiles running to derek after boyd died? wouldn’t cora console her brother cus arguably we did not see cora with boyd much?

stiles being with cora and peter waiting for derek after derek lost boyd? like if it wasn’t meant to be then why was stiles there?

Also, season 3 episode 10 elevator scene!! that scene was criminal to us sterek fans. furthermore, in that episode the touching, the blindy binning jennifer the MINUTE a tear fell from stiles’ eyes. FURTHERMORE, the touching in the ambulance and AGAIN the camera took its time for us to catch it

then stiles making derek the king of the chess board when he was being taken over by the nogitsune

stiles seeming to be derek’s anchor at the end of s3

then omd season 4 was horrific

again the camera seeking stiles’ reaction to derek being young

derek’s eyes following stiles whilst he’s on the phone

the scene where derek and stiles talk about the sun the moon etc

the scene where derek is dying and it keep panning to stiles? even though BARE IN MIND, peter, dereks BLOOD even looked at stiles to see his reaction

when derek leaves everyone again just looks at stiles and stiles is visibly sad

then season 5 stiles seem upset and annoyed at the fact derek left?

SO MY CASE RESTS AT….
The writers were wrong for making us believe and show us they had a spark just for them to make us feel we made it up.

Does anyone have any recent-ish Sterek fic recs? Anything that's not one of the classics from when the show was airing, I guess. I've tried branching out into other fandoms and ships, but I kinda miss reading about these guys.

Open to reading about a lot of things except: BDSM, Major Character Death, Always Female Stiles, Bad Parent Sheriff Stilinski, Unhappy or Ambiguous Endings and Polyamory.

It's not a big deal, but I would appreciate fics where Lydia is not a focal point.

I'm trying to find a Sterek fic I read a few years ago and it's driving me crazy. Here's what I remember (some details might be slightly off): English, complete, probably under 15k. Canon universe, set several years after Beacon Hills. POV Derek. Derek is living alone in an apartment, possibly in New York (not 100% sure). Stiles shows up to see him after they've been out of touch for years. They were never together before, they just drifted apart. The opening scene is what really stuck with me. Derek is coming home and, before he even gets to his apartment, he hears a familiar heartbeat (I think while he's still outside) and then realizes it's Stiles from his scent. He goes upstairs, finds Stiles in his kitchen cooking, and there's almost no dialogue. Derek immediately goes up behind him and holds him, and the reunion becomes physical almost immediately before they really talk. I think they end up in the bedroom, but I'm not completely sure. I know this is a long shot, but that opening has stayed with me for years and I haven't been able to find it again. It's not All We Are Is Skin & Bones. Does this ring a bell for anyone?

So, I’m looking for a fic where Derek and Stiles start sleeping together with no feelings involved but of course end up together.

The fic starts with Stiles being in the library studying or trying to buy Isaac and Scott keep giggling and laughing and Stiles asks them why they keep laughing and they say that when they went to that werewolf mixer? Get together? Convention? Idk gathering of some sort, they learned that some pack members have sex with their Alpha. Obviously Stiles cannot stop thinking about this and he goes to ask Derek about it. I’ll write some stuff I remember about it:

- Derek tells Stiles that it is true for some packs, he says there’s not a specific name to it but he’s heard it called comforter/comforting to which Stiles says that sounds like bedding.

- Derek says it’s not a requirement or something the Alpha must have but Stiles offers anyway.

- They set rules I believe that they won’t be sleeping with anyone else.

- They have sex and Stiles wonders if Derek knows it’s his first time.

- They have sex more times and Stiles realizes that he is in love with Derek.

- Derek knots him.

- Stiles is distracted by the fact that he’s in love with Derek so he’s not paying much attention to Derek and what they are doing, Derek notices and asks stiles if he’s okay to which stiles lies and says that he is and he makes a comment or asks Derek if he changed his shampoo?

- Derek also says that he expected Stiles to be louder.

- Derek wants stiles to cum and he asks Stiles what he can do for him so that he cums and Stiles says something like ‘call me something’ and Derek says ‘call you what?’ And Stiles says ‘call me baby’ so Derek asks if that’s going to help him cum to which stiles says yes, he thinks it’s hot and they do it in porn, so Derek calls him baby.

- Derek also always gets Stiles a glass of water.

- At a pack meeting, Lydia tells Derek that she contacted the matchmaker like he asked her to. Hearing this, stiles makes up an excuse saying he has to meet up with his dad so he leaves, he tries to not cry as he goes downstairs. In his car he rests his head on the steering wheel and closes his eyes and some knocks on the window and he hopes it’s not Derek, but it isn’t, it’s Lydia who says something along the lines of, ‘oh, Stiles what did you do to yourself?’ Or something like that.

- Stiles goes home and Derek goes looking for him. Derek tells him that he told Lydia about the matchmaker before he and Stiles started sleeping together.

- The fic ends with them shopping for bed sheets? And they talk about how they ended up sleeping together and something about how knotting and how it only happened with Stiles?

I think that is as much as I remember but I seem to never be able to find it. I’d truly appreciate it if anyone knows it or can point me to the right direction in finding it. Thank you!!!
