Parade Ready

Had the opportunity to be apart of the AAPI Parade in NYC. It was nice to see a kia around all these JDM,GDM,ADM ect cars. Shout out to Daikoku NYC for taking the car community to the next level 🙌.

32,7 MPG in a 3.3 L V6 AWD ain't bad

It went down to 7.1 L/100 km (up to 33.1 MPG) just before exiting the highway. Relaxed driving at around 120 km/h (75 MPH) behind other traffic

Worms Racing coil packs

Fitted the Worms Racing coil packs this morning, I was still running the first generation 2 piece coils. To be fair, they were like new when I removed them, and the car was running fine with them at 55k, but I was getting the infotainment glitch,(explained in the pictures) and at that mileage and running a Jb4, thought it was only a matter of time before they might start giving me grief. After fitting these I'm pleased to say, said glitch never happened once this morning so that's all good. 🎶😎😁

An extra splash of red in the engine bay is always an added bonus as well 👏 ❤️ 👍

And what a difference in how much easier it is to install cylinder 3 with the 1 peice coil! I wormed that 2 piece bitch out and the new one slipped in easier than a KY jellied🍆! 😳 🤦 😂

I've pictured the only tools used, a ¼“drive wabble extension and a universal joint 10mm socket. You can see the rounded end of the extension compared to the square end of a standard one, using that and the universal jointed socket gives you enough manoeuvreability to easily access the coil bolts without removing the intake manifold. ✅ 👍

Someone broke into my stinger by drilling(?) through the keyhole. Estimated price of repairs?

Im attaching pictures of what I found this morning. Any idea what the repair price is for something like this?

How to change ac compressor for 3.3

You do not need to drop the subframe for RWD model, im not sure for awd models if u are mechanically inclined you can do this
All you need to do is remove the sway bar, and steering rack and serpentine belt.
Tools u need are wrenchs, big and small, socket set and pilers
Of course gauges and a vacuum pump
The car takes 560 grams of r123yf so basically two small cans and 3.5 oz of pag oil for r123yf, some compressors have it added already but most time you need to drain the compressor of shipping oil, i also like to pour some in where the lines attach too.
Just did this project in 3-4 hours, extra 2 hour for vacuuming lines and checking if it holds vacuum

Didn’t think it was possible (Gt2 3.6 AWD)

Still had some room to spare (edit: 3.3 not 3.6 🤦🏽‍♂️)

Tuning stinger

See so here’s the thing, I got my 2022 gt2 around 10 month ago now and was aiming for 450-500 wheel.. since that is what I figured was the safe limit to be able to enjoy a load of power with everyday reliability… I’ve gotten a full catless exhaust primary and secondary with BMS jb4 their intercooler catchcan diff brace upgraded fuel adapters and their charge pipe kit. K&N intakes too.. then I took it to my tuner after throwing all these bolt ons to tune my JB4 custom 6 since I kept going on limp mode too.. when I took my car he told me my ecu was already flash tuned and that’s why my car felt quick I hit 400hp on first dyno run!! anyways my tuner had a hard time to make the custom 6 work perfectly with the old random ecu tune but he finally managed to make it work and I topped off at around 432hp on my last run (note the charge pipe kit and secondary catless DP was after I took it to the tuner)

So the car has been running very smoothly and she’s very quick, but the main issue right now is that i get into limp mode when im pushing the car more than usual I suspect the ecu is reading an overboost, I have to switch the car off and back on and boost is back, I also suspect that I’m not getting the FULL potential of all my supporting mods because of my random ECU tune, I was also thinking of going for a TCU whenever I finally tune my ECU since my gears are sometimes sluggish and jerky.

I’d love to know how beneficial the ECU and which brands I should go for, and if the TCU would be of any use with the numbers I’m hitting. Another issue I have is that I’m all the way in dubai and I have no clue how I could buy one of these tunes abroad without talking to the tuner since I lack the experience myself ..

Injen Cold-Air intake

Hey guys,

currently looking for cold air intakes for my stinger GT 3.3 2019.
Is there someone in Germany, who drives Aftermarket Intakes like Injen or K&N and can tell me if its possible, especially for the Injen intakes to get them registrated by the TÜV?

Thank you!

Windshield Replacement - HUD

It's time to replace the windshield on my GT2. Have to pay out of pocket. It's my understanding Kia likely needs to do the calibrations. What did y'all's process look like? Is Safelite reputable? Thanks.
