Trying to quit drinking and stick to weed only — advice from former drinkers?

I’m looking for advice from people who used to drink regularly and were able to quit.
I already smoke weed, but I still find myself drinking on top of it. My goal is to completely cut alcohol out and just smoke weed instead. The problem is I keep telling myself I’m not going to drink, and then I end up doing it anyway.
For anyone who successfully stopped drinking, especially if you still smoke weed:
What helped you finally stop reaching for alcohol?
How did you handle the first few weeks and the cravings/habit?
Did smoking weed make quitting alcohol easier or harder for you?
Was there anything that finally made it “click” where you stopped wanting to drink?
I’m not really looking to quit everything right now. I specifically want alcohol out of my life and would appreciate hearing from people who have actually been through it.

Smoked with my friends last night

I was smoking a joint with my friends last night and kept thinking they were laughing at me or making fun of me or mad at me. Do I just have a bad tolerance is it normal to be that paranoid?

There were moments my paranoia was making me so anxious I turned extremely pale and was on the verge of fainting

Can someone help identify this bong(?) and help me use it?

I’m newer to smoking flower rather than carts. I usually will just roll j’s but I don’t have any paper and I like switching methods. I’m not fully sure how to properly use this.

It seems like from what I’ve seen looking it up that it’s a z bong and that the downstem seems shorter than all the ones online.

Also, how much water do I use and how tight do I pack the bowl?

first time hitting bong

hello guys! im planning to do my first bong hits tommorrow. i dont have any glass bongs but i figured to do one froms 1.5 soda bottle. just asking what should i do like how much water to put in and how much weed should i put in for first drag😅 i smoke joints now and then but never hit an bong so kinda nervous😅

Is my glass safe to use?

I was cleaning my pipe that I inherited from my dad earlier when a small piece chipped off the end. The rest of it is completely functional and intact but I’m wondering if it would even be safe to smoke out of this again. The piece is quite old, I’d estimate around 10 years if that makes a difference. I don’t know much about these and this piece is a big way I stay connected to my dads memory so please let me know

SHE IS FINALLY CLEAN

Jade looks crystal !!! Cheers to a clean bong!!!! Used a new cleaner I bought from my local smoke shop for the first time. Ended up having to do an extra scrub w the trusty ol salt and alcohol. Wish I took a pic of what it looked like before but be grateful I didn’t lol just know the cleaning was long overdue. Cheers my fellow stoners!!
