Raw unpolished stone identification

Why do you like stones?
Why do you like stones? I'm asking because I keep ending up with girlfriends who go gaga over rocks and I just don't get the appeal. Help me understand? I wanna be excited with my girlfriend but I'm just finding it SO hard to care!

Stone with hole in centre
(Used to be) round stone/rock with hole perfectly in it’s centre
Found this rock while digging in the garden in the Netherlands, Near Schagen. I believe it used to be round, but a large chunk has come off.
It’s about 12cm in diameter

What kind of stone is that
1- letting sun through
2-photo with flash light
3- photo without flashlight
It's pretty hard let's lot of light through
Found under a tree in non sea regions so I doubt it's something like amber
