What does the precipitation widget tell me?

I’m new to this app and can’t figure out what the number in the precipitation widget (under current conditions is telling me). Is it how much rain we have gotten since midnight? How much rain is expected today? I’ve been searching around the app for an answer but can’t seem to find one. Thank u!

Sorry, I still don't like the new version

Good morning everyone. I have been using the new version of storm radar for a while now. I'm trying to get used to it but it is definitely not as user friendly as the old one was. Yes it has some new features, but those new features just makes it harder to navigate around the homepage for me.

I find the new version takes much longer to update everything. Granted I have a slow internet connection, but I think all the new features are making the app slower.

I'm still using it. It is still useful but I'm not as happy with it as I was.

And just on another note, I live in the Caribbean. I know a lot of the data is geared towards the USA and not the Caribbean. But it is really annoying when it shows that I am having increasing clouds in my area, when it's not clouds at all. It is Saharan dust. I wish there was a feature that could show the intensity of Saharan Dust in the area and not just call it clouds.

Radar Four Days Out

Today is Monday and we are about to get hit by some massive storms. Why is the radar slider taken up by three days of paywall so I can’t see the forecasted intensity of the storms for the next hour or two? That is one of the few things the new app had going for it and now it is blocked by a terrible attempt to get me to subscribe. No one in their right mind wants AI radar forecasted out one day in advance, let alone three days.
