I’ll be in Strasbourg in the middle of August sightseeing. I’ll be arriving by car, but I’d like to park it somewhere during my stay since it’s not such a big city. I know P-R parking places exists, and I know for three nights, less than 72h, the costs it’s around 25€. But I’m wondering if it’s possible to book a space in advance or I should just go there and see by myself.

I’m in strasbourg and i really need a job but I’m without papers how i can found a job

Voilà, je vais passer 3 jours à Londres pour l'anniversaire d'un ami.

Je cherche à payer le moins cher possible et donc la solution retenue est l'avion : depuis Bâle/Mulhouse ou depuis Karlsruhe/Baden

Je souhaite payer le moins cher possible mon trajet et potentiellement décoller got le matin (7h)

Avez vous des bons plans pour aller à l'un de ces aéroports ?

J'ai pensé la voiture mais se garer dans un parking d'aéroport devient à au moins 80 euros pour 3 jours donc oublions. Sinon se garer à côté et y aller à pied ? En bus ? Mais j'ai aucune idée de comment faire, je suis preneur d'idées.

Sinon j'ai regardé le train. Ça m'a l'air pas mal pour Bâle Mulhouse mais le premier train arrive à St Louis à 6h30... Pas pratique pour un vol à 7h. Y a t'il des bus plus tots ? Ou une possibilité de se garer à Mulhouse et marcher ?

Voilà je suis ouvert à toute proposition !

Le vol le moins cher part de Karlsruhe mais l'aéroport est hyper galère d'accès. J'ai pensé aussi à venir en voiture jusqu'à karlsruhe puis à vélo jusqu'à l'aéroport. Tout est possible je suis aventureux 😂

Je n'en n'ai plus l’utilité et je souhaiterais m'en separer, y a t'il des magasins qui reprennent ? Je n'ai pas reussi à en trouver pour l'instant.

Je dépanne mes parents une semaine durant les grandes vacances et prends mon petit frère de 10 and chez moi.

Mais faut que je l'occupe le petiot, et je vais pas lui faire faire un barathon. On peut se faire peut être une sortie onéreuse mais je veux pas me ruiner non plus

Hello, I know this is a bit of a long shot, but on the 24th of June I lost my Airpods near King's Cross St Pancras, and I believe they were picked up. They have been in the same building in/near the university for over a week and haven't moved, which leads me to believe that whoever found them does not plan on using them, especially as there is only one Airpod in the case

I will happily pay whatever it costs to get them back to me, as they were a gift from my girlfriend and i felt extremely stupid for dropping the case without noticing

I believe that they are located along the Boulevard De La Victoire, to the east of the Musée zoologique de Strasbourg

If you have any idea how to get into contact with anyone who may be able to help me find them, please help me!

Bonjour, je cherche à construire mon homelab avec l'idée de partir sur de la récup, j'ai presque un budget nul (tout part dans l'eau).

Je cherche des bons plans pour des Lenovo thinkcener m720q par exemple.

Si vous avez des bons plans de liquidation de stock d'entreprise par exemple, ça m'intéresse.

Je surveille déjà Leboncoin mais les prix sont abusés (et c'est bien pour ça qu'ils ne partent pas).

Pour les connaisseurs si vous pouvez me guider sur le choix aussi ça m'intéresse.

Un 6 cœurs avec 12go de ram serait un très bon début. Pour le stockage j'ai du western red déjà en hdd, mais 256 en ssd me va très bien aussi.

I’m looking for honest local advice. I’m traveling in Europe in July with my partner and two young kids, ages 2 and 3.5. We travel by train mostly, use two compact strollers, and try to keep a slow family-friendly pace with parks/playgrounds, short sightseeing blocks, and early bedtime. We are currently in Poland and the heat wave here has been hard too but the temps are still not like Paris.

Our original plan after Amsterdam was:

• Jul 2: Berlin
• Jul 5: Amsterdam
• Jul 10: Ghent
• Jul 14: Luxembourg
• Jul 16: Paris
• Jul 20: Strasbourg / Alsace
• Jul 24: Munich
• Jul 27: Berlin

Because of the current Europe heatwave, I’m now considering cancelling the trip from Amsterdam onward and replacing Belgium/Luxembourg/Paris/Strasbourg with a cooler route such as Denmark / southern Sweden etc.

My main concern is not just being uncomfortable myself, but managing two toddlers in strollers during hot afternoons, train delays, hot platforms, metro stations, and hotel/Airbnb rooms that may not have good AC.

For Paris specifically, I was planning a very family-friendly itinerary: Seine / Île de la Cité stroller walk, Eiffel Tower area, river cruise, Luxembourg Gardens, Tuileries / Louvre courtyard / Palais Royal, maybe Jardin d’Acclimatation, and lots of breaks. I am not trying to rush museums or do a packed sightseeing trip.

Questions for locals / recent travelers:

1. Is Paris in mid-July still reasonably manageable with toddlers if we plan only mornings/evenings and stay in AC lodging?
2. Would you personally keep Paris for 4 nights with two toddlers, or would you switch to a cooler region this year and save Paris for another trip?
3. If we keep Paris, what changes would you make to our plan to make it safer and more enjoyable in hot weather?

I really want to see Paris, but I also don’t want to force a trip that becomes stressful for the kids. I’d appreciate honest advice, especially from parents or people who live in Paris during July heatwaves.

Je suis totalement dépité à l'idée de trouver une alternance. Je n'ai plus la force. J'ai essayé de relancer l'école à plusieurs reprises, elle a pas d'autres offres à offrir. Je ne sais plus quoi faire.

N'habitant pas à Strasbourg, j'ai pas moyen de faire jouer mon réseau ou autre.

C'est une école d'ingénieur en informatique publique reconnu par la CTI.
Des idées svp ?

We are considering moving to Strasbourg in the next few years having spent lots of time here while on school fellowships.

We are looking to buy an apartment or house but seem to be completely flabbergasted by the real estate process here, compared to the US.

Can anyone here who owns property, especially if you moved from the US share about their experience buying/owning real estate here?

Ideally, we want to live in petite france or Krutenau/hospital area if outside of the island, but do share your experience if any on this as well.

J'aimerais savoir si il existait bon un magasin qui pouvait imprimer des STL pour nous sur Strasbourg. De meme j'aimerais savoir si il y avait un bon magasin de hobby, je connais philibert mais leur stock est très limité et le warhammer strasbourg ne vends pas beaucoup de materiel pour l'assemblage de figurines titanesques.
