Can we point out death threats is wrong without being labeled a stan?

If I tell Stays stop sending threats to certain idols/groups, I get labeled a stan. Like if I defend a certain gg cause they got massive hate from stays after beating skz for a music award, I am a stan. Or how about sending threats is wrong and insane and no one should be doing that? Maybe defending them against death threat is decent human behavior and not being a Stan. I swear only stays act this way. “You have to let us hate or you are a Stan!!”

BTS- Chris Brown incident should be a wake up call for stays

I've come across so many tweets saying something along the lines of " I can't believe I trusted them so much it makes me feel stupid" You don't know these people, they probably love chris brown too, just can't be vocal. All they care about is stays money to build their lavish lifestyle, followers for more brand deals, and to shut down any argument against them so they don't have to fight any of their battles. And not to forget give them the attention when no one in their real life can. Let's not act like stays aren't known as army 2.0

Stays acting like SKZ are better than other groups

SKZ is lucky no one is calling them out on all their toxic mess. Using the N word, bullying, cultural appropriation, Charlie Puth, etc. The reason no one talks about them cause they’re not that relevant.

🫪??

who in their right mind would do that infront of hundreds of people, or even at all?

im not trying to be rude, but you seriously don’t think doing that would turn some fans off? plus trying to play discreet clearly didn’t work.

and yes, he’s actually seen doing that in the video.

The difference between their older comebacks n new comebacks

So as a newer casual listener of straykids, I revisited some of their older comebacks like "district 9" "awkward silence" "my pace", "miroh", "side effects", etc.

and I can say that i'm kinda shocked when listening to their older music,

Their older songs just sound much more cohesive, intentional, planned out when it comes to the production, vocal lines, rap lines, etc.

I Feel like now they kinda just give vocal lines to Seungmin so he can show off his vocals but they don't think abt his lines actually sounding cohesive with the song.

Bc in This & That, Seungmin vocals sound very nice but it also sounds out of place, if that makes sense.

In their newer comebacks like chk chk boom, ceremony, this & that, they do much more of lazy rapping, talk singing, abcd chorus etc.

Like I feel 3racha had a stronger vision for straykids music during their younger years as a group.

Right now, I just feel they're kinda in a weird limbo era when it comes to making n releasing music.

New here! Need help formatting a Korean tattoo vertically (Changbin - Streetlight)

hiii everyone!! ^^

I'm planning to get a vertical Korean tattoo with lyrics from Changbin's (Stray Kids) song "Streetlight" (스트리트라이트). Since I don't speak or read Korean, I want to make sure the vertical layout is 100% correct before going to the tattoo artist.
I’ve attached screenshots of the official lyrics (in standard horizontal format) to this post.
Could a native speaker or experienced learner please help show me how these exact lines should be properly formatted in a single vertical column? (Including where the spacing between words should go so it reads naturally).
thank u so much for your help <33!!!!

random question.

what do y'all think about youtuber ben kim & the way he reacts to stray kids & other kpop groups in general? a few weeks ago, i stumbled on one of his videos — didn't even finish the thing because a majority of the things he was doing/saying made me uncomfortable 😭

everyone else seems to find him hilarious, though, so im probably just being senstive, and im highly sure that i wasn't the target audience 🤷🏿‍♀️

Genuinely wtf is going on with I.N's face?

I was looking at older content and he looked normal, why does his face look like a skull these days? It's so creepy, idk if it's the most unfortunate aging of all time or really botched surgery but it's really unfortunate.

How do the other members not find bangchan weird

We obviously don’t know what happens behind closed doors, but if I was one of them, I’d genuinely find it so hard to work with him and have cameras on us almost everyday and be forced to act normal with him.

He drags the entire group into a lot of bullshit with his own actions.

Like when he very obviously flirted with that fan from twitter who posted a selfie for him and basically replied to her tweets on bubble, it was super weird and inappropriate - not because she was a minor (she wasn’t) but because of the power dynamics and also the sheer lack of professionalism - You’re 28 years old, you’re the LEADER of the group, what the fuck are you doing????
Wish I could find the screenshots to show it properly, it was insane watching this unfold in real time.
And that sparked an entire conversation between some fans about how maybe the guys might “pass around” selfies of hot stays - which was of course incredibly weird and very embarrassing on the fans part, why would you WANT or fantasize about your idols doing that?
But people are fucking weird and bangchan knows this and to be honest, I knew the second this whole thing started that this is where people’s minds would go.
I even thought to myself, “Jesus, imagine how he and the other guys act in private.”

Or when he posted that “favoritism” bullshit on bubble and that created an entire MESS in the fandom, including people shitting on Felix and used this as an excuse to gang up on him.

I think in these instances he was incredibly irresponsible, selfish and childish and I don’t know how no one in JYP or in the group slapped the shit out of him for that.

Opinions as a fan who came back

I’m posting this here because I’m not too sure how it’ll be received on the main skz sub. For context, I became a fan around God’s Menu Era, actively followed them till Chk Chk Boom, fell out for a couple of years and have recently gotten back. And I just wanted to share some opinions lol.

  1. The boys are clearly VERY overworked, and it shows. I wasn’t a huge fan of S-class, and I really liked Chk Chk Boom, which I think was the last release I really enjoyed. After that, I’m really struggling to see any variety/experimentation skz are famous for. And I think a part of the reason for that is definitely the amount of content they’re pumping out. I’m not sure if it’s the boys pushing themselves to do more (considering they’ll probably start enlisting from next year) or if JYP is milking them. In any case, they NEED to take a break, because it’s affecting their output.
  2. That being said, I enjoyed This and That. It’s not a typical skz tune but I think it worked for me, mainly because it’s not really a “flex” song.
  3. Changbin actually has such a good singing voice and I wish he sang more often.
  4. I don’t think Hyunjin actually bullied anyone in middle school. I remember there was a google doc floating around that had translated the entire timeline of events, which I read. To me - it seemed very much like two friend groups that did not get along taking shots at each other. Doesn’t mean that no one got hurt or that it’s right, just that it seemed like teenagers being mean.
  5. The Tortoise and the Hare is THE skz song. If there is one song that has to represent their sound, it would be this one. Hall of Fame is a very close second. And on the same track - IN Life is THE skz album. It’s also my favourite album of theirs.
  6. SKZ are one of the only groups in K-pop that don’t have clunky English lyrics in their Korean songs. It’s usually well-placed, makes sense, and sounds crisp.
  7. Their recent youtube content is actually so enjoyable lol. I particularly like the SKZ Code episodes where Hyunjin had to be a part-time worker for a day - they were absolutely hilarious. I expected not to like Minho’s separate show - but it literally feels like they just give him a camera and let him loose lol - it’s easy watching. And whoever made Lee Know and Chan spar - I hope your pillow is always cold and your phone’s charged in the morning.
  8. Based on what I can see, Changbin, Seungmin and Lee Know seem to be the most well-adjusted members of the group. I think their personalities on screen are the closest to how they are IRL. The rest of them definitely seem like they’d be pretty different from their on-screen selves.
  9. I’m not sure when exactly Felix’s brand went from “slightly unhinged Australian meme-boy” to “husky androgynous fairy sunshine” - but it’s a pretty good marketing lesson.
  10. I love Hyunjin’s hair experiments lmao. They don’t always look great, but I like that he’s willing to play around. If he’s not already lasered it off, I think he should experiment with facial hair too. Also - Chan NEEDS to give his hair a break - he’s going to be bald by 35 at this rate.

Why no one brings up how Lee know gets overshadowed by Hyunjin (even Felix) even though he is professional dancer?

I barely notice Lee know on stage and my eyes go to hyunjin every time. Hyunjin gets way more attention for his dancing than Lee know. Go to any performance video. Majority of comments are Hyunjin and Felix. Lee know is supposedly best dancer of 4th gen but he isn’t best of his own group. Every top dancer list puts hyunjin above Lee know.

Bully allegations

Can someone tell me the details of hyunjin's scandal? I am too lazy to look up the details. Do you think he did it or not? If so why?

bangchan

he is highkey weird and cringe. he was and he will be.

why am i so obsessed with talking about bangchan?? yeah thats because he was my bias back then and i woke up and realized what he actually is. i was one of his parasocial soliders i was saying that "he is so damn sexy he is a baby omg channie" ugh🫩🫩 some sort of things yeah i was the corniest of all time. i realized that when i was 14. FOURTEEN. and yeah guys somewhere on the planet earth, some 30yo jobless ppl still joining the fandom, as a stay obvi. or the skz locals calls them "baby stays"

idk if im overthinking since then and have become fully aware of everyting or i just have to let everything flow and dont care about those situations at all. uughh decisions decisions😮‍💨

i actually wanna read your opinions about that "parasocial bangchan relationships with minors" thing. (IM NOT SAYIN THAT!!! TIKTOK HATERS SAYIN THAT) cuz im sick of it. if its obvious...

thx for reading.
