I built an Android/Android TV anime app inspired by 9anime & AniLab — looking for An App feedback

Hey everyone! 👋

I’ve been working on AniWings, an anime app focused specifically on Android mobile and Android TV.

The UI is heavily inspired by the kind of layout and navigation I liked from 9anime and AniLab, but I’ve been building my own implementation around it rather than trying to make an exact copy.

The main thing I’m trying to figure out now is whether the interface actually feels good to use on both a phone and a TV.

What I’ve built so far

  • 📱 Android Mobile + Android TV focused
  • 🌑 Dark, clean interface inspired by 9anime/AniLab
  • 🎥 Sub/Dub switching and 5 server options
  • 🔍 Anime search with detailed information
  • 🗓️ Airing schedule
  • ☁️ Watch history and favorites with Google sign-in
  • ⚡ Lightweight UI with TV-friendly navigation

👉 AniWings: Download Here

This is still version 1, so there are definitely bugs, glitches, and probably a few things hiding somewhere that I haven't found yet. 😅

Rather than just asking people to "try my app", I'm specifically looking for feedback on the UI/UX:

  • Does the navigation make sense on Android TV?
  • Does the interface feel too much like 9anime/AniLab or does it feel distinct enough?
  • Is anything difficult to find?
  • What would you change about the home screen or anime details page?
  • Are there any features that would make the experience better on TV?

If you have a few minutes to test it, I'd genuinely appreciate criticism and suggestions. I'm still actively developing it, so feedback can actually influence what I work on next.

Itachi TV Has Been Live for 2 Months—What Do You Think?, and What Should We Improve Next?

It’s been almost two months since we launched itachi(.tv), and we’d really love to hear your honest feedback.

Our goal has been to create a fast, clean, and completely ad-free anime streaming experience. We built our own scraper and currently operate five of the streaming servers ourselves.

If you’ve tried Itachi, what do you like about it so far? What feels confusing, broken, or could be improved? We’re especially interested in feedback about the design, playback quality, server reliability, mobile experience, and features you’d like to see next.

Please be completely honest—we genuinely want to make the site better. Thanks to everyone who has checked it out and supported us!

Where can i watch naruto

Hi, I’ve been looking for a site where I can watch Naruto dubbed in good quality. On a lot of sites, the quality of the dub seems to be much worse than the sub.

Does anyone know a site where I can watch the English dub in good quality?

I’ve been building an anime platform called AniShelf

Hey everyone! I’m an anime fan and solo developer, and I’ve been working on something called AniShelf.

It’s an anime platform where you can discover anime, get recommendations, create custom lists, and share or post those lists with others.

One of the features I’m most excited about is the AI-powered image search — you can upload a reference image or screenshot and use it to find anime.

I’ve been building this mostly on my own, and I’d really like to hear what other anime fans think. What features would you want to see in a platform like this? What could be improved?

I’m still working on it, so honest feedback is very welcome. Please be kind 🫶

I am very disappointed

I just got my first Crunchyroll member (12-Month Mega Fan) hoping that I will get huge anime library and support the anime creators by not using piracy for a simple subscription price.

The shock was when I search for simple classic anime titles like Death Parade, Erased, Fullmetal, Future Diary, Your lie in April... (i asked AI if these are available on the website and it said yes for all except Death Parade as they lost the streaming license)

I did not find any of them! I am extremely disappointed by that and i don't know if there is a way to get if them or if the site uses region locks.

i needed a movie/series tracking app, but i almost never found an app that also includes anime, so i made my own. Would you be interested?

I know, like me, many people have the issue of tracking movies/series and anime in one app instead of separate apps and after TVTime went down and so many people got angry for needing that nostalgic feeling, I decided to make my own app that combines the tracking of movies, series, and most importantly, anime with a great user experience that TVTime gave. I made the app for myself, but i thought other people might be interested, so would you actually use this?
