I have been streaming Republic Commando btw, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 4 PM Central, if you want to watch

I know a lot of high of great players whose rank are lower than what their skills shows and the consensus seems to be that the number of hours it takes to get back to their career high every season simply isn't worth the amount of hours when the game just rips it away from them anyways

Kind of sucks because it also means that the people who do belong to the lower ranks just ends up facing opponents that are borderline impossible for them to 1v1

Hi, so as the title says I really want to get better at Strinova!

I'm a new player (started April/2026) and have been having a blast with this game, it's really fun and I love the unique mechanics and characters it offers.

Just yesterday I was playing ranked as my high elo friend told me it's a good way to learn and improve at the game.

I'm neutron IV and somehow matched in a full electron players lobby, which already got me a little overwhelmed at first, but oh well, I play for chills and decided to try my best.

First round defenders started and we were losing 2 - 0, then a dude from my team started yelling and throwing insults at me in VC 😭. Just being really really toxic and rude in general, saying how I sucked and couldn't aim and didn't know how to play. (He was insulting the other teammates as well, but at one point the main bully target was me)

I mean, everytime I queue with people around my level I do really well and have an average mvp rate, and OFC there's going to be a clear experience and skill difference between a beginner and a veteran player.

I totally get it why you'd be mad if a teammate was being dead weight and not so very helpful, but you know the spectate mode shows the player card right?? (If it isn't deactivated) And when you see a player that is level 73, while everyone else's level 250+ like bro....?? you can clearly tell that they are new......😭😭

So I don't get it why >>some<< older players when they see someone who's clearly new at the game and trying their best, the first thought that comes to their mind is to throw insults and bully.... this is what a lot of new players experience, which leads them to getting demotivated and quit Strinova.

Strinova IS FUN. It's a cool game, has cool characters and one of the most unique mechanics in gaming ever, but one of the core reasons why it's dying is because there's barely any beginner players willing to continue it anymore.

If I wasn't playing it with friends, I can pretty much assure I would've most likely quit as well after the hundreds of insults people already threw at me😭💔.... A game is meant to be played for fun, for ENJOYMENT. So if you are met with nothing but harassment and stress, it's obvious your first thought would be to quit.

However, I want to keep playing! I really want to improve... For myself, my friends and to stop receiving insults once and for all!!! I just don't wish for any more toxicity.... please.

So that's why I'm writing this post in hopes of raising awareness regarding this situation and ofc asking for any recommendations maybe of content creators?? Any tips or tricks, fun facts, anything goes!

What's the factor that differs a good player from a bad player? What actually helped you improve at the game in general?

Might re-download this game later, how is the state of the game? Good? Bad? Stagnant? Did more players joined? Any new things?

I left the game around when the chy... uhh cho.. . chiyo? Whatever she is named was releasing and I must say the outbreak cards grind broke me so I wanted to ask how much exclusive stuff I missed any event now unobtainable skins?
