Mapping Error for StubHub.

I sold a ticket on StubHub for the first time. The ticket was in the AT&T stadium in section 344. The sections were listed 1-4 instead of the correct names for the actual rows, and I couldn’t change them. I put 3 for the third level of the stadium, but now I’m getting a penalty for an incorrect listing. I found out after looking at the stadium again, it’s not even possible for the stadium sections to be listed in such a way, but those were the options I was given.

Stubhub parking pass

Just want to share a complaint. I had a parking pass I purchased in July for a concert yesterday, August 18th. Morning of the concert I get my email from StubHub saying “get ready to accept your ticket”, I wait for 30 minutes and nothing. I contact their help bot thing and it says let me re-transfer them. Sure okay that’s fine at this point we need to get on the road as it’s a bit of a drive. I end up buying a backup ticket for parking from someone else as I had a bad feeling. Fast forward and I still have no ticket from StubHub, no worries I’ll just get a refund and use the one I have. I contact StubHub and have been going back and forth as they refuse to refund me. I have scoured my email to try and see if I missed something, becuase atleast that’s on me. I have no transfer email, but because I didn’t contact them before the event I’m out the money? I did contact them but apperantly their help bot does not count I need to have a live agent. I just needed to rant, I don’t really expect any resolution.

What if a buyer has not yet accepted ticket transfer?

I sold a parking ticket from my Ticketmaster account that was put up for sale on stubhub. In order to transfer from Ticketmaster to the buyer directly, I used the email and info required by Ticketmaster. The transfer did go through to my stubhub account and the buyer has not yet accepted them. The concert is still 2 weeks away. What happens if the ticket is not accepted?

Ohio State football tickets.

For years, I’ve sold my Ohio State season tickets through StubHub with no events. We’re talking a sale of around $16,000. The last two years they kept my money for an abnormally long period of time after the first game. I will never sell tickets or buy tickets through them again.

I wouldn’t let my dog buy /sell on stubhub

I had a horrible experience with stuhub.bought tickets from Ticketmaster and live nation for an upcoming concert. Decided not to go-well in advance and tried to list them on stubhub. Long story short got totally scammed. Tickets that were supposedly transferred (2 vip parking tickets and 2 concert tickets) went to the site and found in my account no active listings and checked my tickets for sale and got you have no tickets to sell. Double checked on Ticketmaster and live nation and there there they were still in those accounts. So then I start to get emails asking me to accept tickets as I was the buyer instead of the seller! Called several times without any real explanation. So tickets did sell through Ticketmaster and live nation. While stubhub is trying to get me to download tickets they did not own! Took over $800 put of my checking account which is now in dispute. They at the same time I got an email from stubhub that my tickets, that they did not own! They are being sued by several companies and have multiple civil suits. Never again will I ever trust a 3rd party seller. Stubhub is a BIG time scam outfit.

StubHub robbed me of $338 and kept my tickets after I did everything right — this is a scam

StubHub robbed me of $338 and kept my tickets after I did everything right. this is a scam

I listed tickets with a section typo (321 → 3). Buyer caught it within 24 HOURS. Concert was 83 days away. I immediately confirmed the error and cooperated fully. Nobody was stranded. Nobody was harmed.

StubHub charged me $338 anyway, kept my tickets, and hid behind FanProtect as if that policy was designed for this situation. It wasn't. FanProtect exists for buyers LEFT without tickets. That didn't happen.

This is StubHub exploiting a vague seller policy to extract money from good-faith sellers who make human errors. There is no proportionality. No accountability. Just a company taking $338 from someone who did the right thing.

I'm filing with the BBB, my state AG, disputing with my credit card, and contacting consumer reporters. If you've been hit with an unexplained seller charge by StubHub, comment below, I want to hear your story.
